Well damn. Now I regret not getting VIP M&G privileges. I coulda put them in fabulous wigs for our selfie, bringing me one step closer to seeing them in drag.
jk I still wouldn't
this makes me wonder if they would refuse some accessories or some poses at a M&G (and which). Like i am sure they would put the wigs, because they already have done it on youtube and that's you know nothing bad, but idk if I went to a M&G I would want to try to bring something/or ask for a pose really outrageous and see if they go with it. Then again I also probably wouldn't actually do it because I wouldn't want them to hate me

For the sex, 6 years relation or not, if they really are sharing the bedroom at the back of the bus, I don't see why they wouldn't do it there. Yeah Dan is a screamer but I am sure he can be quiet if he really needs to and the road noise would cover noises too anyways. And yeah they are gonna be tired at some point but cmon they are not running a marathon everyday.
I can see them getting a bit frisky in the dressing room buzzing with adrenaline at the end of the show as well ;)

also ngl but if Phil talked to me about cereals at the m§g i paid 100 dols to see them for 5 seconds, I would have genocidal thoughts

Every show so far the recaps from younger phans have followed the same pattern of 'I said hi and hugged them and they complimented my hair. They signed my phone case and Dan asked if I wanted a selfie. Then they said thanks for coming.' If that's all they wanted to get out of it that's fine and good for them but are most of their fans that easily satisfied? As long as they meet Deppy it doesn't matter if they get the same 30 sec. canned routine?

Yeah, the book signing in LA. The entire exchange was about two minutes long and that's honestly the majority of it. Not much more to say. I typed up and gave them a letter because I figured that'd be easier than standing at a table shrieking at them like everyone else seemed to do. We weren't allowed to take selfies, but they had a handler who took photos for us on our cell phones of us meeting them. I made a collage of Phil in literally every photo because it was hilarious to me (I posted it on GG a while back)

I just cackled at how casually you wrote ''Yeah Dan is a screamer,'' like it's not even speculation anymore. I love how we've all just accepted that loud as fuck, power bottom Dan is God's honest truth.

Speaking of letters I wonder if the two of them sit down together and go through the letters separately or one after another together. How long does that take? They'll have enough letters to paper the walls of their flat after the US tour.

The collage is funny and sweet. Phil seems like he would be easier to talk to and Dan has admitted the same. It also reminded me of this great post by phantheraglama about her experience meeting them at a book signing.

Aww you're right that is super adorable. I love the drawings so much. And I totally agree with her, Phil is way more attractive in person than I was expecting him to be. And he ate my words too. I honestly cannot remember any of what I said to him, or what he said to me, but I remember my exchange with Dan just fine. Stupid sexy sunshine.

im going to avoid this presumptuous sex discussion entirely and say
a) the sign is horrible omg i hate the daddy thing in general and i hate how common it is in the phandom. dans a normal, prettyish guy and phil looks like limmy in a MySpace wig, please stop calling either of them daddy.
b) there's that one video from a couple of years ago of them in a car where people are cheering outside and dan comments about how that always freaks him out. imo dan enjoys the attention more, but also feels more aware of the scrutiny. once he's already in the zone he can bask in the appreciation, but in stuff like one on one meetings he can seem more shy and hesitant.

Jokes aside, I really really hope we can have a video / anything today.
I'm catching up with all the DP discussions in a certain website and at some point it was discussed (and even generally agreed upon) that Phil's bedroom in London looks staged, like he doesn't really stay there, as opposed to his Manchester's bedroom that was always messy and Phil-like. It seems kind of sterile on Hazel's recent vlog, like he just places there random things on the shelves and that's it. What do you think?

I'll stop at loud as fuck personally as all that top/bottom thing makes me incredibly uncomfortable to assume.
But yeah agreed with Spider, your transformation was pretty quick

agreed with jaej, that daddy thing has to stop. It's ruining all the fanfics and it grosses me out. Is it really a thing? Do people really call their lovers daddy?? (I do like the dad/mum twitter/tumblr thing tho, it still cracks me up that we call celebs we like "dad", i am an easy audience i know)

I think that neither are likely to not tidy up before filming/LS-ing. BUT I'd wager that it's more likely that Dan's room is less likely to be used for sleeping, because Phil does the vast majority of his LSs in the lounge, plus the "new stinky mattress" saga recently. As with everything though, YMMV.

Unless they have a secret, never before filmed in 3rd/actual bedroom...

As for tour sex... hotel/post show dressing room/showers. Maybe the bus once just to say that they HAVE.

Those are lovely pictures, thanks for sharing! I wish their handler had done that at the UK book signings, that's a great idea.

I think your interaction can still fit with their behaviour here to an extent - I see Dan as more comfortable in interactions which are more distant, if that makes any sense, like just waving to fans and having impersonal M&G chats - he seems to very much stick to his rote compliments and 'thanks for watching our videos' ending, whereas Phil is perhaps more comfortable in more personal, less scripted conversations.

Just to run this analysis a little too far and to start reaching into 'this is bullshit speculation' territory: that also fits in with Dan saying that he's not always comfortable in social interactions in his personal life, in a situation where he doesn't have a mental script to run through/persona to play up. He's happy in a set, controlled role that he knows people can appreciate, and does seem to love that attention, but in personal situations it's quite a different form of attention - it's attention on him as a person they're interacting with rather than on the idea of DINOF that everyone already has in their heads at an M&G/tour stop. I don't know that Phil's possible discomfort with the attention is linked to that distinction in any way though, besides him perhaps being more confident in himself than Dan at least used to be, I imagine the screaming hoards are just quite overwhelming! (all love to the screaming hoards, just because I do my fandom slightly differently/am not that comfortable with crowds doesn't make me any different from them at heart!)

I'd actually love to hear missemma's thoughts on this having met D&P twice in less controlled situations, but I guess this is unfortunately pretty bad timing for that!

He bought an expensive memory foam mattress for his bed whilst Dan's bed is the cheap one which planks kept breaking, so I think its good to say its comfier to sleep on Phil's bed.

The ''top or bottom'' discussion makes me uncomfortable to assume on a serious level, I don't mind joking about it, as long as we're on the same page. The same with the hypothetical bus sex discussion.
Please keep in mind that about 90 percent of what I post here is going to be tongue-in-cheek.

I bought cheap beds before and believe me just by sitting on it hard can break those slim planks and I was then below 50 kg, so imagine a giant like Dan can do.

Phil kept boasting about his mattress and had a few of his collab guests on them so I think he might not lie about it :? but then who knows ;)

Joke aside, I find it cute that Phil bought it after experiencing the comfort whilst made the whisper challenge on Joe's bed (I am assuming this as that was when we first heard Phil & memory foam mattress). Phil may not be into designer clothes but he seem to be a creature of comfort, life on the bus must be horrid for him :(

I always believe that Dan is a really expressive introvert and Phil is a really reserved extrovert.

Dan have the desire to be heard and applaud, but he is actually a bit awkward in a face to face interaction. He is fine performing on stage, do public speaking, talking to the interweb people through live stream or record a video put it online, but if he is in a conversation face to face with people he's not so familiar with, he's most likely to shy away from interaction.

Phil on thr other hand often gets shy or self conscious when he receives a lot of attention, but he looks very comfortable making interactions with people. He doesn't want to be the centre of the attention, he's perfectly comfortable blending with with friends.

I guess.

Ticia, usually he's closet is pretty messy. But i guess he would clean up his bed and cupboard before shooting.
