Firstly, can please a native English speaker confirm (including jaej) that the way Morgan talks is difficult to follow.

Now then:

I haven't received any warnings, and I didn't get banned, I got deactivated.

Why wouldn't an Administrator know if I asked (which I didn't) for my account to be deleted? Is there any kind of transparency existent in the administration of the forum?

When I log in, I doesn't even say that my account has been deactivated, It doesn't say anything - I just simply can't access it.

The only time it says anything is if I ask the website to send me an activation e-mail, it shows me this (and note for the third time, I didn't ask my account to be deleted or deactivated)

well, it appears i've been IP banned as of the last few hours - because I was still able to get onto the site at lunchtime today. i have no idea why they didn't just do this to my account in one go, seems nonsensical (and more work for them).

i realised i also only got banned a few hours after i asked for my account name to be changed from Zeemeermin to this yesterday, which sort of makes me lol. did they not pick it up from the first post of this thread? how dumb are they? if they all weren't so awful i'd feel sorry for them. zeemeermin is literally just dutch for 'mermaid'. :roll:

by the way GIS, if you have an account and are reading this: regarding our PMs early 2015 - you are a mean girl. i'm sorry you were picked on in highschool, but you became what you hated. a mean girl. ugliness cannot be fought with more ugliness. i don't wish you ill, but i hope someone stops you one day and you have a transformation and get your life together, because (maybe optimistically) i believe every one can. and, to save more people from the wasted time you cause them.

So far, on gg, be it admin or mod, it's all been 'political' talk. Doesn't matter if you're a native or even the founder of that language, there is no hope of understanding.
(sidebar: actually impressed with how many words they use in their non-answers)

If you broke the rules, we warned you before you got banned. If that's not the case, then you must be a spammer and no one else cares what you want.
Personally I think they took les enfants terrible (anyone commenting in any manner on the situation)(I don't even know which situation, be it gab, the banner, whatever) and either labled them as flamers, in which case they were banned, without being warned, or spammers, for example those that posted the link here (maybe) and their accounts were deleted, or deactivated, and if there is a difference between the two, I don't know.
However, I cannot stand for the constant questioning of a moderator, when you don't even know what all that position entails or how someone got there to begin with, nor should I have to answer that question. Typically there have been a jumble of methods used and there is never 100% happy campers in the end, but without appropriate feedback there is little to nothing I can do for you all.
I personally think those two thoughts are a contradiction. And I've seen a lot of understanding for how thankless a job being a mod is.
I could care less if 200 of you left, the board would load faster... so please, take a step back and realize if you bite the hand that feeds, it never feeds you again.
At this point I care even less about my 'status' as a gg member.

Has anyone else who was notified (threatened) by notice of using multiple accounts had any resolution, because I wrote and have received no word back yet. Though maybe that I can still login is an answer.

Sorry rant continues, how sad that so many posts are now, sorry...just wondering...i don't want to be banned, but.....

i knew they were bad, but not that. how dare they talk to people like that.

edit: I made a new account from a different IP in order to read the Clarification thread first hand, and my activation hasn't come through, nearly 5 hours later. have they frozen new registrations?

I for one have no interest on ever returning to that place, with that toxic admin hanging around. I like the way this place works (and the fact that it actually works well), and no power tripping mods/adim to be found here.A win-win situation.

Yeah that's very possible. My friend updated their email address yesterday on the site and STILL hasn't received the email with the confirmation code yet. Now they can't login at all until they get that confirmation code.

Call me strange, but I believe them. As a kind of organization, they need to stick together. Also, Morgan seems like the type to never apologize. So, in this case, it seems natural that his first instinct was to defend nesoi, since he chose her as a mod.

On the other hand, Morgan is still an awful human being. It was his job and responsibility to know what was going on. Claiming cluelessness is bullshit, they handled this entire thing like a disaster. It's ridiculous, and when they took proper steps, it was too late. And, this also showed how they'll handle future complaints. I hope they learn something from this whole debacle, but I doubt they will.

If he can't be arsed to care about what his mods are doing, he shouldn't have control of the site at all.

the term 'unruly members' just makes me laugh when it seems that the only truly unruly members were actually some of the mods themselves

I mean that whole situation was blown way out of proportion and made 100 times worse by the way the mods behaved, deleting/editing posts left right and centre and banning everyone who dared to say they disagreed? it really did have such a dictatorship vibe to it (still can't quite believe all that drama came from such a minor incident)

glad to see the back of it now tbh, you guys are ace
