Maybe. Well, it's going to be worse if she flops in the music industry and she is not that much of a flop on YT, I mean she has 1M subscribers....

I was reading Emma's thread on the other site and someone posted this and I have to admit that she sounds pretty good here even though people don't seem to care that much

I'm not sure but when she sings "lasered off" the "off" sounds a bit autotuned to me, but considering the fact that her sound cut off and she was singing a capella (i heard about the sound cutting from her snapchat) her autotune if she uses it probably wasn't working either so you're right, she's probably just singing. Good for her!

I can see why she deleted it - probably not good to admit to not knowing what you're doing, you'll lose people's trust. Must be a common problem among youtubers though, as they constantly have to self-produce new stuff. Eventually you'll run out of inspiration.

Ok but really, she needs to stop getting into these? Be a singer, make videos, but stop being weird on twitter; people will never stop bringing up three years ago, five years ago, eight years ago, but SHE can stop responding to them. What happened to ignoring negative comments on social media? She can't help herself and it's frustrating every time. I mean, I'm sure she's frustrated too, I'll give her that, but come on, leave it.

I hate to doublepost but it won't let me edit that post anymore, I guess it's been too long. Anyway I understand why it's annoying that I'm a little out of tune with recent fandom happenings so I'm going to spend a lot of time reading up before I continue to post. Just wanted to say that and I'm sorry to anyone I've annoyed by being ignorant. I understand that's frustrating. Thanks to anyone who helped out and pointed me in the right direction! :)

Yeah, she is still very in touch with her critics.

..but have you seen her "new" vlogging channel? She name dropped Dan and Phil again in her last video. Something about how ridiculous it is that famous youtubers can't be genuine fans of popular musicians or other youtubers. I kinda half agree with her that youtuber can be still honestly just a fan but on the other hand as a youtuber herself she should be aware better then everyone that youtubers are just lost 20-somethings who were sort of lucky, not really worth worshiping ground they walk on..

I liked her roast yourself video, she seems to be self-aware of her flaws that's a good quality to have :) I was surprised that she knows that her music don't really reflect her age though

You know, I'll admit that I actually really like that "Sucks to be you" song. Avril Lavigne is my guilty pleasure and Emma really gives off the 2006 edgy punk vibe. The music video is pretty awful, though. :lol:

I'm confused, one minute you guys are complaining about their branding and how you want them to talk about more mature content, and now that Dan's joking about adult topics you're concerned for the children? If a child that's watching Dan isn't old enough to explain to their parent(s)/guardian that he's using a steam inhaler to keep his voice during the show, then they probably shouldn't be watching him.

On another note, apparently Dan's favorite PINOF moment is anaconda.
