i would like to take a moment to thank dan and phil for the years they're my virtual parents who have made things a bit easier over the years.. why am i crying.

Maybe this was a way of gauging the audience reaction and we'll be "blessed" with a ls from Dan (and Philin my dreams) on Tuesday.

Between no joint liveshow, a pretty underwhelming Twitter party and a little bit of regarding showers (because after five years of living together and sharing countless of hotel rooms with bathrooms that have glass doors showering on the sametour bus is just soooo awkward you guize ) I'm just kinda here like..



Alternatively I'm the Staryu and Deppy is Brock pouring a cold bucket of water over my head.

Glad to know mine just wasn't glitching. And thanks for the possible explanation. I hope it does trend later because I think one of the reasons why they wanted to do the live tweet route was to promote it on Twitter. Because if it does trend, other people will get curious as to what it is and might check it out. It worked for other shows/series, etc, and is one of the reasons why they would usually make the stars of those shows live-tweet. So i really think (although I'm part of the ones who is salty about the no-ls thing today) it's actually one of the reasons why they live-tweeted and I kinda feel bad for them that it didn't trend (or Twitter made it look like it didn't trend).

My foreals thoughts about why are maybe

a) avoid spoilers from the audio for anyone who didn't see it, so the tweets would make sense if you had already seen it/the answers were vague enough to be appreciated anyway

b) if there was the Lester family over they wouldn't want them involved so best to keep tweeting about it rather than fight to keep them out of the shot

c) copyright issues prevented them from having the show on blast like that/Youtube wouldn't let them bc maybe fans wouldn't bother watching if they could almost hear

d) mystery reason ?????

I am 94% on the side of "just bffls" (used to be 98% but lee pace got me shook) but I can't imagine a situation in which a bff lets me sleep on a tiny bunk and get a horrible pain in my back while he hogs a giant bed. Like at least alternate. So i do believe them when they are trying to nohomo, but the specific details they put forward make me cringe

i totally get that. what i mean is that they wanted to show us that they didnt share a bed. whether they did or didn't.. that doesn't really matter. busgate was (imo) them stationing in the nonambiguous 'We're not together' camp.

I agree about them nudging everyone towards no-phano with this, but disagree about lack of ambiguity, but this train of thought will just lead to my usual queerbaiting rant, and no one here wants to read that again

Sorry to bring the shower thing up again, but I honestly never read that as awkward because other people (cough each other) might see the other naked. I completely read it as awkward because the cubicle was so awkwardly small and laid out for very tall people. They broke the door several times, and the shower head was about shoulder level, so very awks.

Didn't watch, but enjoyed dipping into the tweets, glad they mostly haru'd stuff, could have done without the big pic of Dan clambering out of the bunk again.

It was in response to a tweet about being seen naked accidentaly during shower

when i was 12 in 2009 and i followed dan on dailybooth after finding him through phils dailybooth , i never would have imagined this is what their lives would have led up to.

i just hope they know that they have been there for me when nobody else was.

This is what I thought. As a tall person myself, when they showed that shower I was like, "they will never use that thing." Even a lot of hotel showers are too short, but at least there is more space to duck down.

Looks like they watched it with the crew according to Martins tweet :') wonder who that involves and where. Makes me wonder why Dan would lie about wearing the totoro onesie if he wasn't.

I've never believed it was just them, I always said the two CF women were also on there. You can see Marianne on the bus when it's moving so I still stand by the fact there is 6 people on that bus.

Having just watched both back to back I wanted to have a little moment where I just expressed how proud I am of them. I know that I moan a lot about what they do, yes I am salty they aren't going to Europe, yes I do think it's bad how they haru the bed but then post a tweet about that doll being their baby, but whatever. I am so proud of what they've achieved and the whole of tatinof. It is an amazing show that you can see how much they put into. Yeah some of it might be a cringefest but it is so well thought out, so well put together, so much going on behind the scenes and a lot of hard work that has paid off. Ugh I am so very proud right now.

I have always said that I don't know what keeps me watching Deppy but after tonight I know. It's the mix of their personalities alongside the amazing amazing friends that I have made along this crazy internet journey. Friends who have the same issues and struggles in life as myself, who I can sit and rant at in private, some of whom I have been to America with and who I chat to every single day about two guys that have bought us together. The end of the documentary always makes me feel emotional and proud, as the music kicks in and the slo-mo of the camera happens it just reminds me of this bubble that I'm in because of Dan and Phil and how it sometimes takes me away from reality and makes life good again.

Just finished watching the documentary and even though it was heavily scripted with overreacting from both of them it was pretty cute and entertaining, I enjoyed it.

According to Dan they started to prepare for this stage-show and book-tour around early 2014, do any of you guys know when both of them (mostly Dan) started to delete a lot of his old tweets and yt-videos? Do you reckon it was around this time when they needed to hand over their content to their producers and team of TATINOF so they could look through what was Dan&Phi to build a show out of it? I wonder if both of them thought about the possibility of the team of producer might come in contact with dailybooth and other "embarrassing" parts of their past? uurg I would have so many cringe-attacks and facepalms if my boss/supervisor came across my old fb-pictures, that is just a big no. Imagine laying everything out in a open like that for your boss to see before they hire you, urrg

Bedgate: nope, I don't buy anything of what they said about the bed arrangement. They slept together and that's it. Ofc as platonic bros cuz the management does not know about them and there is no need to make it awkward while being stuck together on the road. It was really weird. I kept on checking the US and UK (and even specific locations) but it didn't trend. It could have trended but a very short time (??). They definitely had 3k tweets just from the TATINOF show and probably another 3K from the docu. Twitter algo, y u fail us?
If they wanted them to trend TATINOF, there a different tricks so they could have done a ls (still salty). But all in all, I enjoyed the twitter party. They did well replying to people. (but no, phil never replied to me. disappointed.)

Agree. I think this whole twitter session was done very professionally - quickly, with right amount of appreciative, on-brand and "domestic" tweets and well-planned screenshots. Could at least tweet us a selfie or something. Apparently they saw the crew today, and didn't bother to mention it until someone asked Phil. Nothing personal, just business, get it.

So I guess D+P went to the tatinof doc viewing earlier today with the crew (based on Cornelia's tweet and the fact that Phil said he saw them today), already had what they wanted to tweet planned, then went back home (Dan said he was in the onesie) and just read through the hashtag to respond to people's tweets. I guess that means they might have had to watch it twice today to know when to accurately post their tweets lol.
