According to Martyn, they will no longer be in US during dapgoose, so most probably Dan will be joining Phil before the dapgoose date. So will not be away from each other that long I guess.

I didn't think the picture was from another day because I thought Dan couldn't be out and about without Phil I thought that because Dan usually only tweets something that could be giving away his location until after his no longer there.

And I agree Dan is going to be fine. I think everyone on here knows that to be honest. Yes people like to make jokes about their co-dependency and these jokes clearly make some others uncomfortable but I really don't think anyone really believes Dan is so dependent on Phil he curls up into the fetal position and can't function when his away.

Haha, let's hope this is true. I'm one of those people that get a bit uncomfortable when people talk about stuff like co-depency in such a lighthearted manner because the thought of it is actually really scary to me but I guess you're right, most people don't actually believe it.

I'm not on twitter much so I looked at Phil's to see the picture. I do think it's a little strange that Dan also has a black coat on against a white wall. At least he doesn't have the hood up with the deer-in-the-headlights look that Phil used (or the peace sign ) That can't really be a coincidence. (patiently waiting for phandom to begin with the 'OMG they're so married" comments)

You're right, it wasn't a coincidence, Dan talked about trying to find that photo last week in his live show as phil changed it to that photo that morning. People asked Dan if he was going to change his photo as well and if I remember right, he pretty much suggested he was going to look for a similar one or at least one from that photo shoot.

My oh my, I Dan's new picture. What an improvement!! He looks his age (in a good way)! (I was actually thinking while watching DAPGOOSE that he's really began to look 25 ~not intending to trigger an existential crisis, just a comment~)

I just wish Phil would pull a nicer expression in his icon for once. Like this one doesn't have the butthole mouth, but there's still the deer in headlights eyes. I mean, that's still a great improvement but I'm not quite satisfied yet. Why do you hate your smile Philly?

Also I know Dan isn't quite as tan as he used to be but that lighting has legit pulled all the melanin out of his skin because he's just as pale as Phil. Why is their version of nice lighting just making everything as bright as possible? :')

I quite like Phil's wide-eyed look, though he does it so much I was surprised not to see it in that San Francisco photo. He looks great not doing it, I just find it cute.

In Dan's icon and the others he looks different from usual somehow. Other than the robot-eyes reflecting dots. Quite fluffy hair too.

(I agree about their lighting but just FYI Dan's icon was taken in an actual photobooth so obviously they had no control over the lighting of those particular photos)

In response to the post maybe a page back or so about Youtube going the way of Vine, I don't think that will happen but it's still a fact that Youtube careers are extremely volatile and people can gain or lose subscribers really quickly. Maybe that's why D&P are branching out into traditional media like radio and theatre shows? I notice that Tyler (whom I haven't watched in a long time) has suddenly really low views on his videos compared to before. And I was a fan of Charlie McDonnell at the time that he didn't upload for awhile and lost a ton of subscribers and has never really recovered from that (although now he is doing other things besides YT I guess). Which is why I think if views are dropping on D&P videos because of the book and tour stuff and lack of their usual videos, it could be serious if they don't do anything about it (I still can't get over Dan's tone in his LS when he talked about comments complaining about their tour spon vids )

Their twitter DPs are cute! Though I also wish Phil didn't do his wide-eyed look. And I'm (im)patiently looking forward to Undertale week.

Also I wonder if their rebranding is that they do everything together? I notice that Dan didn't do the "this is my assistant Phil" in their baking vid and he did talk about them doing videos together for Phil's channel and his soon too right? Since they are really very marketable as a pair now - I wonder when people stopped being interested in them separately and saw them as a single entertaining unit? Was it 2012 or even before that?
