Anyway, now that the dust has settled after Dan's pool picture, it's Thursday. They said there'd be an AP video today. Any thoughts on what it might be? I'm thinking it's been a while since their last collab on AP, so maybe a video with Dan?

Also, love the timestamps, dizzy I need to rewatch this again.

Yes thank you lurker for the pics! It's funny, the party boys pic does nothing for me, it's not the best mirror selfie, Phil looks unenthusiastic, it's not cute or close, but I guess it's one of those things you had to be there for to understand the context and the hype.

And thank you dizzy for the timestamps. I rewatched with the husband last night and he enjoyed it much more than the first two as well. (I also made him listen to the beginning of 'The Black Parade' in the car beforehand so he could get the references, which at the time he insisted he didn't need to, but when that part of the video came up and Dan was screaming, he was cracking up.)

I would love a little collab today, my only other guess is a LessAmazingSlime video, but I think he would have mentioned to look out for it on his side channel instead of the main, so probably not.

Other than that the only thing i can think of is maybe a story time about his bruises, or maybe something autumn-themed. He said he wouldn't do a haul but if he did a slime video, maybe he would change his mind about a haul video too.

About Dan's swimming pool photo: I really find interesting how many people thinks he's more cute than handsome. I never felt anything like that (not saying he's ugly, I just can't imagine finding grown man cute).
I can't wait for new AP video.

The fact that Phil forgot/was surprised by Dan saying that there would be an AP video Thursday makes me wonder if it's a collab. (And if it is a collab, the idea that it was on Dan's mind and not Phil's - especially if they hadn't filmed it yet - is interesting. It makes me think Dan is a lot more behind some of the AP collabs than he lets on, like he uses Phil's channel to do let loose with some of that basic youtube fare that he kind of scorns for his main channel.)

I think it was the P A R T Y B O Y S caption that did it. I remember people at the time having a very strong reaction to that and going "OMAFGASDDFGGJHJJK DO THEY KNOW WHAT THAT MEANSSSSS??" a lot. Also it was in early 2015, we weren't used to... anything really. Their Instagram game has gotten A LOT stronger since and I don't think we appreciate that enough tbh. A picture like the one Dan posted today would have made us collectively faint back in early 2015, as in literally faint and not being able to get back up until the end of the year.

I remember this insta being really popular for a while too. (Because phan, basically. D&P at a romantic dinner in fancy clothes, sharing it with us... Turned out it was a work meeting lmfao.)

I'd really love for tonight's video to be a collab on AP. Two of my most favourite videos recently were collabs on AP (hair curling and fortune telling), probably because they both gave me particularly warm and fuzzy feels. Fingers crossed

My fingers are crossed for a joint video on AP. Would definitely help soothe my mid-week / why-the-hell-did-I-drink-last night hangover.

I saw Dans video (love love love, his experience of halls was just as.. interesting as mine. Got a bit emotional at him calling his grandma, I cried down the phone to my nana in my first week and she sent me the biggest care package you've ever seen full of my favourite chocolate that only she new I liked - it made me miss her a LOT)

I saw Overcooked and I am so fucking happy they did that oh my god. Every time its come up on what I want to see on DAPG i've said Overcooked and I wasn't disappointed. (fun fact, when they streamed it I was sat in a restaurant and the man on the table behind me had a heart attack)

And that pool picture I am truly blessed. Though I did do a double take because he looks naked.
(also to whoever said how did he fall asleep in a pool, I managed it last year in Florida sat inside a giant zorb ball, theres something very comfortable about floating in water)

AND i'm so hyped for a Phil video tonight, I've literally bought snacks in preparation for it. I have zero predictions, maybe making Pool Boy make slime?

Umm.. I watched the first minute and stopped. Not that interesting, sorry. From the title I thought it was going to be the Myers Briggs test, but this is a bit too abstract for me. Maybe I'll try watching it tomorrow.

I haven't even started the video but I wanna say a silent thank you for the shirt he's wearing that might probably be my favorite of his. Just.. thank you universe. Even if it's not a collab.

I'm half way through and I'm 100% distracted by how wrinkly his shirt is...

The video was okay, but somehow reminded me of a filler episode in a TV show. Nothing outstanding.
I'm not buying that his first thought was Captain America
He seemed uncomfortable when discussing the puddle bits.

What I enjoyed the most is his description of a dream house. Phil doesn't want a mansion, he wants a penthouse where dogs can run around.
