- have experimented with psychedelics at a very young age
- went from being an extrovert to a complete introvert in my late teens. I rarely leave the house these days.
- my godfather is a well known writer (prominent in the late 60s)
- wasn't allowed to watch any tv as a child, instead my dad would read me schopenhauer at the age of 10 (for all the wrong reasons), which was absolutely absurd.
-have pretty shitty memories of my childhood in general
- attempted suicide once because of what I considered to be poor academic achievement but I’m pretty much ok now
- have never had a real job
- have dated a lot but have never been in a relationship longer than 3 months

Yep I get it. It takes a lot more effort to go vegan, at least until you get into kind of a routine I guess. I'm still mostly at myself for still eating/drinking cheese, milk and eggs because the main reason why I'm a vegetarian is because of the way animals are treated and well...this doesn't stop at meat...

btw i relate to #3 of your post so much!! i used to have so many guilty pleasures but now i'm just open about what i love. like many people associate mcr with their younger teen years so i was kinda embarrassed about liking them at an older age (which i find weird now, like how tf does one grow out of music lol) but my life got so much better when i just started to let myself enjoy what i like and stopped caring about what others think.

I was really into The Used and My Chem (also, From First to Last, but they don't really get classified as bandom ever and now I have to constantly avoid Skrillex fans), but I definitely dabbled occasionally in the Panic! fandom, as did achika apparently. I wondering how deep one needed to be into internet bandom to encounter Ryden fic? I know I was sort of surprised when I first heard Dan mention it.

Oh yeah, scene queens....that period of time was such a trainwreck in general. I remember when they all suddenly stopped being relevant when Facebook became more popular than MySpace, except for the smart ones like Jac Vanek who got their own clothing lines and such. I do think it's a wise lesson for YouTubers now. They should really be planning ahead for when YouTube is inevitably taken over by the next big thing.

I honestly wasn't that surprised when Dan mentioned Ryden, he was a Panic!fan as a teenager and it was pretty popular ship back in the day. I was sort of surprised when he specifically mentioned the Milk Fic― the nature of fanfiction was so different than it was now, fanfic used to be this dirty secret that you literally had to go digging through the internet for. You also didn't talk about it to people. The thought of him maybe stumbling across /being scarred by the Milk Fic as young teenager is kind of hilarious tbh

I think it's okay to take your time with the changes (if you really want to go vegan, of course). I also couldn't imagine life without cheese and I was processing the thought about ditching it for a long time. I was finally ready to stop eating it in October and I've never missed it since then. (And this Easter I made my first vegan cheesecake, so proud!) It went similar with other products. I've only been fully vegan for a month now but I already know that for me it was a good decision.

I'm not really trying to convince you to anything, just want to show some support. I'm always happy to meet other people that aren't meat-eaters, irl I still often feel like a weirdo.

Ahhh same guys. I'm like 95% vegan I'd say (?) but... chocolate! I hate myself because I'm such a typical annoying preachy veggie towards my family but then I go and eat malteasers and ice cream sigh

Good job on the veganism, btw. I've recently cut down to just eating fish and no other type of meat, but still eating dairy products etc. I wanna work towards being vegan but it's a (slow, brutal, horrible) process, so kudos to you.
