I enjoyed this more than yesterday, but it was still very AP and DINOF.Not blaming them, I totally understand why that is.

This little "gift" was much better than the last one. I noticed that Phil talked a little more, and there as a lot more new footage from the docu. I'm excited! Also their bedroom totally says "Dan and Phil," which is really adorable if you ask me, because to me that kinda means that they're caring less about people thinking/knowing they're sharing a bed. I just hope that Dan doesn't walk up to the sign in the docu and be like "oh this is a sign we got from xyz and there was no other place to put it lol, don't get any ideas" I will just roll my eyes if that happens and say "sure jan"

Surprisingly I actually enjoyed this video a little bit. Maybe because I expected nothing special and knew it would be similar to the one on Dan's channel. But it was a bit more interesting.
I 100% believe Dan when he said that he cried, he does cry very fast and I'd actually be surprised if he wouldn't in this case. They mentioned that it was "a bit invasive" with all the filming. I do think it's very weird that they film so much of their life for us, since they're very private people. They just aren't vloggers and it's interesting to hear them say what I've been thinking the whole time.
Can't wait for the doc

I guess we'll just have to figure out a way to download the vid and save it before ytr is available in our countries. I've seen other youtubers movies in "totally legal" sites so it seems it is possible. I sure as hell don't want to pay for the two vids if they're gonna be taken away from me later on.

Can they take it away if I buy it on Google Play? That would be strange! I hope not, I pay money for it, I don't want it to be taken away from me in case YTR ever happens to come out in Germany

so this one was a bit less awkward i think, but what caught my attention was phil saying how he'd wake up and the camera crew was in his face and dan said 'yeah, it was violating" i mean interpret that however you want but all i caught was they aren't going to avoid bedgate, we're either gonna be hit with bed footage or they're gonna come up w some lies... hm

I really hope they're not gonna lie. I'd rather they just don't talk about it and just show whether they're sleeping in the same bedroom or not and never acknowledge it than lie. I actually got the opposite feel (don't mind me though, I'm just pessimistic by nature ) from that part, especially as Phil was the only one who opened the door. Sorry to be a debbie downer.

and bed gate I think wont matter in the long run. I doubt highly that they will openly show that they shared that f***ing bed. Either they genuinely did not (like idiots) or they will make it look like they didn't. (Hopefully this pessimism pays off and I am pleasantly surprised.)

the promo vids are so bad, they are just so dull... even the background when they are in the stools is so boring. I can't believe this is how youtube promotes ytr originals.

We have our second pre-release "gift". I still get a slight cringe when I hear them promote the films. Maybe it's because it's not their usual thing and they look/sound slightly uncomfortable. The fact that they intersperse clips from the movies helps.

Only a couple of things I found notable:

1) Phil's eyes - beautiful (there's really nothing more to say)
2) 0:48 - Dan says "we nostalgically gaze back and think about what it means and the experiences we've had" but the clip is of Dan gazing lovingly at Phil
3) 1:01 - they're talking about having a crew following them around wherever they went and that they don't show their every day lives
4) 1:13 Phil says "I'd wake up on the tourbus and the camera guy would be like 'what are you having for breakfast' " - only Phil comes out of the door and he says "I". Very interested to see how they handle busgate. I hope they ignore it rather than "lie and deny"
5) 2:15ish - they talk about how fans may see themselves in the movie - true, but also a way to get people to buy in hopes they'll be in it. Maybe that's the "shitstorm" Dan's expecting.

Phil's ls is on - Dan's watching and Phil had to give him an emoji a "poop" though, seriously Phil ugh

Interesting. So for the video: They left up the 'Dan and Phil' door sign, but added in (?) an extra door so we can't actually see their bedroom situation.

This seems symbolic to me of how they intend to/ have approached things. They've just drawn a line. You can see this much, but not this much - this part is off limits (??).

It felt like a very classic Dan and Phil move: maintain ambiguity on the subject, retaining their privacy, but leaving us with the perception that they are close - that they are 'Dan and Phil' (as per the door sign).

Prediction: I think we may get shown the bedroom at some point but I don't think we will be told whether they have shared a room or not. We may just only see one room with no explanation. I think they will try and maintain that ambiguity - neither confirming nor denying that they have shared a room, but leaving their closeness evident in the films.

Sorry if this post makes no sense or is in some way incorrect, I'm not even sure of my own opinion on the topic, but I felt like I wanted to write this.

That was the cutest liveshow, what a beautiful bean he is. Clearly Alberta didn't find Doug as adorably pretty. Good eye story, can't believe the doctor thought that and didn't believe him denying it. Pfft. He looked so fed up in the morning shot on the tour bus, though, as he says Phil in the morning before coffee is not the happiest, I guess he can't be so cute all the time.

So that sign on the bedroom door definitely says Dan & Phil which gives me hope they're gonna be fairly clear about where they slept. Fair enough if they give the 'neither of us would fit in a bunk' excuse explanation, cos otherwise its essentially coming out. But if they try to give me some shit about not both sleeping there I'll be unimpressed. I'm hoping the visibility of that sign means they're not gonna try to pull that. ANYWAY... LIVESHOW...

Ok so some basic observations:

- he looks fit today. good hair.
- likes october cos festive and its their anniversary
- the sofa cushion he sits against is apparently the middle one, not the opposite end to Dan like they always make out when filming. I'd suspected that cos its noticeably more squashed. Don't try to tell me they don't sit pressed up against each other
- get a new sofa or move to somewhere with a bigger corridor. Do the last one pls.
- the Doug story
- his mannerisms are so Dan-like today... Dannerisms?
- those accounts on Tuber Simulator are fake
- 'shrunk all.... *pregnant pause*... my clothes' maybe I'm seeing things but sometimes you can see him choosing his determinants

Enjoyable liveshow all in all, just wish it hadn't been so short. Wonder what he was rushing off for.

Another live show that I really enjoyed.
Some thoughts:
- Dan, like always, trying to get attention from Phil. SMH Dan, you get enough of Phil’s attention as it is. Glad that he got a poop emoji.
- I wonder if Phil has ever thought about going back to study, since he came up with that reply quite quickly.
- Yes Phil, you and Dan should move out and get a bigger place.
- Apparently Phil doesn’t blink when he is playing Mario Kart.
- I enjoyed Phil telling us his eye story.
- Phil being sad that he didn’t get an eye patch.
- The Alberta story was another good one, made me laugh. RIP Doug.
- Him talking about Battlestar Galactic, was nice. And yes strong female characters in series is always a big plus.
- Phil is not a big fan of Star Trek, I might have to unstan now.
- Next gaming vid will be Undertale, but won’t be for a while.
- Phil is not amazingphil on Tuber Simulator.
- Phil is hanging out with some friends, and his parents are coming to visit soon.

Quite a good liveshow, not super exciting. I liked the eye talk, felt like a real conversation instead of just flitting between topics!

Shrimp talk was alright, his obsession with mating concerns me a little bit..

I really enjoy just having Phil's on in the background while I paint my nails or something like that, they're so easy to listen to whereas Dan's are usually a bit heavy and require a bit more attention. He seemed to be in a bit of a sarky mood which died down a bit towards the latter half but overall...nice!

Loved the 'chat with dan and phil', Dan looks very 'tousled' in both of the 'chats'...can't wait to see those extra cover art images tomorrow. I keep missing the 'dan and phil' door signs, where are they? I'll watch back now and see if I can spot them.

Wow Phil, short live show (40 minutes)! Probably 5 minutes of that saying hello, goodbye and agreeing to marriage proposals.

He thinks they need another sofa, but their hallway is too narrow to get a proper sofa in, so maybe they should move. (I assumed "they" not "he")

I thought both the shrimp story and the eye story were good -- very detailed. But he does come up with some weird ideas, like a hawk trying to mate with his eye. What even is that? Lots of references to mating - I think Phil really wants something to care for. My heart goes out to him, he doesn't want more houseplants because he doesn't want to kill another one.

Phil's family is coming next week. Since he told us, we may even get a tweet or two (although probably just about what they're eating for breakfast)

I feel that sofa struggle, my mom had to get a futon for her apartment bc of the small hallways and stairway, and my dad's house's living room is shaped weird, so that only a sectional can fit, but not a standard sized sectional, so we had to get a really hard awful couch too. I really feel.

My take on their busgate approach: I think they will pretend/say there are two bedrooms, because otherwise they would contradict what they tweeted about Phil getting the bedroom with a TV or something. It's not like casual fans (or even the majority of the phandom) know the bus layout or anything, so they can get away with it. I can't really see them letting people assume they slept in the same bed, but anyway we'll know in three days.

Funny thing about this is that I noticed the account was changing things at 9pm my time/4am UK time, so I was pretty much immediately proven wrong like 10 minutes after posting what I found. It's a damn shame, since it was a nice room and my dreams of Phil being a good interior designer were ruined. Still keeping my eye on that Dan account, though.

Also, that uncertainty on Undertale week. Just do it, my man, put out to pasture, it's long overstayed its welcome, just get it over with. And because I missed the Spooky Week game discussion a while ago, I'm just gonna put it out there and say there is literally nothing good about the horror game scene nowadays. (Resident Evil 7 demo is probably the most acceptable and good enough to make a one shot video of.) Let's just bring back the 2011 Let's Plays. Imagine Dan and Phil playing Amnesia, Penumbra, Which, Ib, The Witch's House, etc. I am of course just kidding because none of those games would work as one off videos.

I think that little 'vestibule/hall' area the two doors create is simply the width of the ensuite bathroom they said the bus bedroom had.

Oh yeah, I wasn't very clear. I got that it was hitchhiking in general, the picture did make that clear. I just didn't really get why they were hitchhiking or what that represented or was supposed to mean. But what you say about taking the show on the road makes more sense, haha!! I'm really excited to see the rejected concepts tomorrow!
