Dan & Phil part 27: Let's Go Home

Bottoming: I write Dan primarily bottoming (but with occasional switching) for a lot of reasons that involve way more than stereotypes. First and foremost: Dan references himself in receptive terminology when talking about men. "Enter me, Troye," the bottom tweet, 'fuck my butt,' the Evan Peters lobster tweet that couldn't be anything but Dan talking about Evan fingering him with the lobster hand, constantly presenting and actually calling it that. There's probably more but I'm writing this without putting proper research in so those are just what I found with a quick search.

When I'm writing I'm trying to draw based on patterns of behavior I've seen on them. One mention is a joke, multiple ones are a pattern of thought that clearly sticks in Dan's mind for a reason. Dan does not seem embarrassed by an association with bottoming or being receptive, he seems proud of it. That doesn't mean Phil never bottoms or doesn't enjoy it, but he's not out there trying to associate it with his public presence (even using humor) the way Dan (not at all) subtly does.

Livetweeting: Not as bad as I expected, not as good as a liveshow. I'm sure they raked in some cash with people rewatching both en masse, since youtube red splits profits based on how much watch time there is. Zero desire to discuss bed/hotel issues again. I took the shower being awkward tweet as to mean because they're taller than the shower itself, but upon looking at the original yeah could be that it was just because they were almost certainly not alone in the bus. (Manager Marianne and Drake, if no one else, those were the ones seen around the deppy bus regularly.)

Sorry to bring the shower thing up again, but I honestly never read that as awkward because other people (cough each other) might see the other naked. I completely read it as awkward because the cubicle was so awkwardly small and laid out for very tall people. They broke the door several times, and the shower head was about shoulder level, so very awks.

Didn't watch, but enjoyed dipping into the tweets, glad they mostly haru'd stuff, could have done without the big pic of Dan clambering out of the bunk again.

well that was a bit underwhelming, the tweets during the show were mildly interesting, the docu ones were just boring.

i'm starting to envy the patience of people who still think they are together, after they gave birth to this tatinof beast. you are all truly strong people. as someone who spends all their time on r/UnresolvedMysteries speculating about stuff, i'd place their relationship status right there with the JonBenet mystery: it's gonna be speculated forever, but we'll never ever know even though the parents most likely killed her.

i wish we could say this tour is finally over, but aren't they gonna do something for dapgo? i hope they will return to their youtube career for a while and preferably focus on GAMING oop.

If they actually have significant others in the crew, (but I'm Phan so I hope not) I actually kinda.. like 1% ship Phil and the torch guy who I think is the same guy that we think Dan's jealous of at the end of the show which was discussed earlier in this thread.

edit: Just clarifying that I meant the guy who patted Phil's back and said "good job" (and I think also helped him take off his jacket), who Dan appeared to be glaring at. Also

I liked the livetweeting thing, even though Dan was tweeting 3 times a minute and Phil was tweeting once every 5 minutes... It got v sentimental at the end, with the gap before Phil's final tweet being very poignant as well. I'm sure they're both either celebrating or crying (or both... probably both)

I knew they would Haru the busgate thing. Didn't expect the shower tweet but it wasn't that bad... they probably had other people on the bus constantly, so it wasn't just an issue of seeing each other naked.
