A restaurant that gives out fake passports with realistic stamps, classifications (P-1 is entertainers) and fake plane tickets with realistic flight info that plausibly matches flight times Dan could have taken and returned on in order to meet Phil back at the time they were spotted by fans?

I mean, tbh, nothing about any of this makes sense, but I'm not totally buying that either.

oh my god, i actually do hate him, so much. on the one hand, what kind of elaborate joke? on the other, maybe restaurant looks up flight times or something? and on the other, the thing he posted said may 04 at the top, and he 100% did not spend the past 3 days in the bahamas (unless robot doubles are actually a thing)

Literally this. I have zero explanation as to why Dan would go to the Bahamas for just a few hours, but shit, it really seems like he did. What the hell is he are they up to?

Surely if it was to do with the restaurant other youtubers would have tweeted about it too? And I feel like it'd take a lot of effort for a restaurant to personalise customers tickets like that. Unless this was arranged by Playlist (similar to how Playlist arranges for youtubers to have free reign of Universal), but in that case I would have expected at least one other youtuber to tweet about it.

Both theories seem so wild to me, like the idea that Dan went to the Bahamas for less than a day is so ????? The only reasonable explanation for that is that it had something to do with work, because that just seems like such a strange thing to do otherwise. And no one spotted him in the airport or anything? I am truly perplexed.

The flight on his stub was a return flight from Nassau back to Orlando - it landed at 8:16P, plenty of time to make Universal - although it arrived 1h:24m late. If it's legit.

Thinking about where their posse went last year, maybe it was Bahama Breeze.

Him flying there and back is plausible; he'd have touched down in Orlando at 7:02 pm, he made his tweet about holiday in the Bahamas at 6:58. Four minutes until landing is about when I'd be turning my phone back on post-flight. I wonder if he tweeted it in case someone spotted him at the airport? (If he did actually go. Which at this point, I'm leaning toward, though still confused as fuck.)

eta: orrrrr maybe it was delayed an hour in which case ????

dan would be an eclectic and beautiful tequila model LOL. maybe he did go for some type of video? did any other youtubers go?????

i didn't think they would attend any after parties, and without louise to vlog any other spottings will just be background shots? ah whatevs

Does the passport page look like a British passport page? The credentials *could* have been faked by management as an elaborate invitation to the company dinner fete. (The three days signifying 3 days of Playlist - I've never seen a 3 day entry visa in a passport before.)

at this point i think the theory that dan went to the Bahamas for like a minute to do some YouTube stuff is the most likely, which could explain the sneaky tweets because he knows that it's not really a big deal and therefore it is safe to mess with us about it

Tomska at the very least will pull through with something in his weekly vlog (and all the minutes of content that are not D&P will also be worthwhile, but you know, I'm just saying).

As far as Bahamas y/n?, I'm too tired and will just wait for an answer to be spelled out in time. I didn't see anybody else (that I follow anyway) say anything Bahamas-related so and also

It's a UK passport, but the old design that was last issued in 2010.

The airline website itself checks out on it being delayed an hour, which means Dan probably tweeted he was in the Bahamas while sitting on the plane about to leave.

With no luggage, he could have had a car waiting when he got to the airport again in Orlando then gone straight to Universal to meet Phil and Marianne.

Also - Dan and Phil are in Cat's last couple of snapchats, so I guess phanrific isn't dead after all.

Not that it makes a difference, but isn't that actually his US work Visa?

My best guess would have been to visit his family for the day had they been on holiday in the Bahamas, but I don't think that lines up because his brother would still be in the middle of exam season in University.

What's left... someone's destination wedding? A work thing? Just for the hell of it?
