That is horrifying. I admire the creativity at least. The price seems like a lot but for two custom AG dolls that's actually quite reasonable.

The next step: custom DnP Furbies.

Now that is a product I would buy both for the nostalgia and for being nightmare fuel, but the (personally) tolerable kind.

I have a quick question for anyone who has Phil’s Fox sweater - how is the fit of a small or medium? I got the large based on the size guide on the site and it’s an actual dress on me. Not that sweater dresses aren’t cute and all, but I’d like one that’s a bit more fitted - but I don’t want to go too far the other way and get one that’s too small. If you have the small or medium, what size would you say it corresponds to? 🦊

I bought the S and it's still pretty big on me (which I like, i hate really fitted sweaters). I'm 153cm/5 foot and don't have big boobs, but my friend that bought the same is much taller and has much bigger boobs and it's quite fitted on her ( I thought she would need a medium but it actually fits her pretty well!)

I think the sizes are pretty tailored on Phil's body tbh it's VERY long.

I really hope Phil graces us with a new video soon. The end of his Florida trip seems to also have been the end of his return to Instagram Stories :(

Meanwhile Dan has been even more quiet than usual. He hasn't tweeted at all in the month of May.

It's been three weeks since Phil's last video. I mean, I get it, he was on holiday, but I would love for the next video to come sooner rather than later.
I recall he said it might not be the Q&A, but I'd be happy if it was. It feels like he's either going to include Q&A videos into his standard "rotation" and film them quite often, or he wants to answer some specific question. Like George in their (RIP) liveshows.

Lately, I taught myself not to hope for anything in terms of Dan and Phil, but it still happens now and then. I won't be disappointed if the Q&A doesn't shed any light on what's going on (I kinda don't expect it to), but there's still a glimmer of hope in me I guess.

I wanted to weigh in on the discussion about Phil's content, but I don't want to be negative. I love Phil and just listening to his voice is pleasant enough, but I do agree with people saying he could shake things up a bit. Maybe I'm just not that into the whole "reacting to things" genre; I never was. It feels like Phil can do better than that. But I also agree that people will never be satisfied until things are back to normal, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's like the coffee and cookies analogy that someone posted earlier (I think knq?). It's okay to still miss the cookies even though you enjoy the coffee.

I apologize for this boring stream of consciousness. I guess what I'm trying to say is, in TL;DR format: Phil upload your new video please and thanks. <3

Everyone's favorite person who likes to randomly mention Dan and Phil a few times a year popping back up in their verified mentions:

No longer have any love for bc, but that intro scene was a blessing, I’m not sure we’ve seen Dan act hard and mean anytime before or since and Phil’s tough guy act is always something to behold. That old channel he was in with PJ and various others has a few similar moments of villainy, he does evil so well even while stroking a wooden guinea pig.

Jesus. What's even that guy doing now? It's bad enough that he would name drop them a year after interviewing them (with those interviews going nowhere, might I add) but he's really beating a dead horse now with the dry wasteland that is the phandom. He's kind of pulled a Dan anyway, disappearing from YouTube, posting pandering, concerning tweets, vaguely alluding to something but never fulfilling it.

Okay yes I'm here for this kind of tweet.

The 'stressful' one is 150% them having a conversation, right?

Yes. Of course. And I LOVE it.

Also lmao at the strange husband thing. That's about Dan right? :devious:

Just in case anyone doubted these were basically convos with Dan, Phil went ahead and confirmed it...

just stopping by to say that this morning when i was still half asleep i remember thinking out of literally nowhere "what if phil murdered dan and is using the hiatus as a cover up and he's totally getting away with it because we will all just keep waiting for an upload that will never come. has anyone seen dan?"

other than that, i liked your post about phil on the page before, Catallena. thanks for sharing your thoughts! :cherryblossom:

What situation is Phil frequently in where he can type but not talk? I want to know the backstory behind all of these!

Why was dan shaking his head for long enough that Phil had time to type out a sentence to ask it but wouldn’t ask aloud?

What was stressful about the shoe?

What was up with the husband???

While I know that a lot of people are giggly over 'strange husband' and how it applies to Dan and Phil re: each other, I gotta say it delights me to imagine them gossiping about people while literally in front of them.

This was exactly my thought. Do they literally pass notes to each other during business meetings or what? Dinners with people? I can't imagine them being unable to talk in public places, not all of them at least. Ooh, maybe in an uber?
I love these two gossipy dorks, honestly.

Also, one of those looks like an order for an all you can eat sushi restaurant where they don’t have an iPad or paper at the table (from experience).

At the start of the What Dan and Phil Text Each Other video they say they text each other even while on the sofa in the same room and sometime around Tatinof, in Tabinof I think, they said they’d seen Jo Frost (Supernanny) at the airport and one of them told the other via Note. So, yeah, they do this.

Hi! I had an idea. I thought it would be really nice if we could all tweet Dan inspirational/happy messages each day leading up to his birthday. He would just be inundated with positivity. NoI've thing along the lines of "where are you? when are you coming back" or phan questions, but like "Thanks for the work you do with Young Minds!" or "I hope your day is amazing!" LIke if you follow Lin Manuel Miranda, he does inspirational tweets each day...that kind of thing. I blogged about it on Tumblr but of course, I don't have many followers so it isn't taking off or anything. So I thought I'd suggest it here:) .

Hi sarty! I saw your message on the Phandom Watch twitter! :) It's a really lovely idea and I do think it would be better for Dan to see inspirational/kind messages over the usual sarcasm.

While we're near the subject of mental health, Adrian posted something that resonated with me, because it seems like he and Dan might be struggling with similar things right now.
(I think you need to see it on insta, the caption is not showing up here)

RIP 7 Second Challenge, an app I genuinely haven't even thought about in probably two years. Maybe more.

I'm intrigued that Phil is saying they're gonna try something new though. I know people are jaded and that's not gonna be what most people wanna focus on, but in my little corner I'm just thinking of how Phil is the one that hates putting forward any kind of guarantee or even insinuation of things. It could be that he just knows at this point any time they breathe and it's not putting a new video out that people are upset and he wanted to soften it, but I do also feel like at some point it's gonna shift out of 'era ending' phase and into 'what comes next' phase. I'm ready for it.

I genuinely forgot about the app being a thing

I just have big sighs coming out of me. This is just irritating. At this rate I'll be dead before these new things happen

i'm just... kinda ready for that 'what comes next' phase to start though. i hate that - outside of a phil video - every time we get news from them, it's something else ending.

i fully have faith that we're going to get something new eventually... it's just becoming a bit draining to hear about the end of some other dan&phil thing. like... i'm ready for some good news, d&p. please just give us some good news already.

worth noting that i still regularly played the app with a group of friends and still don't mind it ending. it's fine. i'm sure it's partly to do with the developer anyway.

Huh. I didn’t know you had to retire an entire app to move on, it can’t be left as it is? I guess the tech company has to still be paid to sort out issues? I didn’t even buy it or take much notice, but this feels very flat even so. Feeling so tired of drips of info over months of quiet.
