Loved the video! Great job Oqua.

Ugh I always feel a bit uncomfortable watching Dan’s old behavior and his live shows, but it was nice to see him change and grow up.

I really like that little clip from SITC, where he wrote down a female and male crush, you go boy. But what I liked about it even more is Phil doing the same thing for Dan and being right. I don’t know why that gets me every time, but it does.

Drama and people with too strongly worded opinions written in caps lock is always a bit annoying and is the reason I can't stand being on tumblr for more than a month at a time before I delete my blog in sheer exhaustion, but I guess I'm with timtam on this; as long as they're not hurting people I say let them do what they want. Most people end up growing up eventually and making mistakes is is part of the process.

(although I guess you could make the argument that the tumblr community is slightly toxic in some places because it contributes to fostering a certain type of group mentality where certain types of opinions and ways of expressing things and behaviors are particularly encouraged among often quite young and impressionable people...)

One thing I find very frustrating about the Tumblr stans is that none of them seem to want to consider that Dan might have been stretching the truth or outright lying in 2012? As we all know, denying being gay doesn't mean shit nowadays― both Connor Franta and Joey Graceffa, for instance, have outright denied being gay on multiple occasions. (Connor Franta even put it in a video once.) Not that I'm saying Dan is gay but, it's just mind-boggling how unwilling people are to accept that Dan would lie to his audience. It's actually been proven that both Dan and Phil lied about something simple like how they met, but nooo, Dan and Phil would never lie to us, am I right...

I like the theory of the very slow coming out but if that's what this is, I hope they step up their game quickly and make it obvious they don't mind people talking about this because that's my number one pet peeve right now - the amount of people trying to squash any and all discussion about it on tumblr.

Honestly, at this point I'm hoping he'll come out just so some of these people will stop being so smug. This is a man who's literally said 'enter me Troye' and makes jokes about Evan Peters fingering him...Dan no longer gives any fucks.

That baffles me too, especially since we know he lied about things in 2012. Dude even made a video called Spiral of Lies talking about his habit of lying.

Two blatant lies completely proven from immediately come to mind without any researching: how they met, and clothes sharing. (And hey, as of 2016, Dan is okay owning up to how he lied about meeting Phil in a main channel video.)

lol, when I had my brief time of browsing through antiphan blogs, I came across someone saying that Dan in 2012 was actually the real Dan trying to get himself out of the spiral of lies.
And of course, all current male attraction mentions are meant in admiring way that doesn'f actually mean he's into dudes.
And Haru Pillow scene was a fanservice. And all the mainvid mentions are also fanservice and trying to be relatable and he doesn't mean it.

same tbh, especially after how he tries to be as correct as possible and aware of all the issues, even unlisting the men vs women vid and the talk about minorities & oscars and him being aware of importance of representation in movies. Sure he isn't a saint but he seems to be trying lately a lot. so yeah to stoop down to baiting would be weird
