I agree. If you're concerned about your privacy/getting doxxed/etc you'll carefully control what info you do or don't share online. I'm not famous and I carefully control what info I make available and what info I don't.

In any case, I honestly don't really care. D&P are rich and famous. They weren't forced into that role and can step out of it at any point if they want. They are choosing to be public "influencers", to piggyback off of their fandom to do a world tour, etc. Clearly they want this fanbase, and people finding stuff out about you is part of having a large fanbase. It's why I never want to be famous, and again, D&P can choose to retire from the public eye if they want to.

Not all invasions of privacy are the same. There's a difference between a trans woman getting doxxed by kiwifarms vs two incredibly wealthy white cis men having their fans (i.e. people who actually like them and don't have particularly malicious intentions with this information) know where they live. It doesn't pose a threat to their life or anything—in most cases of people getting doxxed online, it's a dogpile/harassment campaign against a marginalised and vulnerable person which does actually put them at serious risk. So honestly I really dgaf about the privacy of people who have way more wealth than I will ever see in my life and can choose to opt out of doing an objectively nice job (compared to most jobs, definitely any job I've ever done) that pays many orders of magnitude greater than what our jobs pay us.

I totally agree that there are different levels of invasions of privacy, and the intent behind the reason why someone wants/has a piece of information matters. I also agree that when someone chooses to be (or stay) in the public eye, they do so with the understanding that there are certain things people are going to go after. However, I don't think that that means we should go so far as to say that it doesn't matter if people know d&p's exact location or that it poses no threat to them. Their first London address was super common knowledge, and they've talked before about how they had people show up to their door/follow them places. There was also another thing where Phil had mentioned there was a café or something near his flat that he liked to go to, so at one point people were going there and just hanging around waiting for him to come in. While these people weren't actively trying to harm d&p, it can still be qualified as harassment, and I don't think that physical stalking is something that you sign on to being okay with when you choose to be in the public eye. These were "well-meaning" fans (in the sense that they weren't trying to hurt anyone), but it sure as hell still crossed a line. I'm not saying that you are trying to excuse this behavior, that's not how your post came across. I'm just pointing out the fact that even people with good intentions having pieces of information can still pose risks. Just because d&p are in the public eye (and happen to be rich from it), I don't think that means they waive the right to feel safe where they live and have certain things kept to themselves.

I think I'm a little confused? I was already thinking this convo was a little silly since it's pretty obvious what hospital they're at and they're not there anymore anyway, but if you're suggesting that fans can't pose a danger to a white cis man, then I think someone like John Lenin would disagree. Even Harry styles, the whitest richest most famous of men, had one of his "fans" break into his house when he was home and push one of his staff-members over a wall (they're okay). And the fact that dnp are gay does, to the best of my knowledge, include them in a marginalized community.

Nuance is something that can be applied here, in my opinion. That being said, people knowing the hospital they used or the part of London they live in isn't that big of a deal since it's pretty easy-to-deduce info based on freely given information. I think I'm just caught up on the idea that fans don't have malicious intentions, which is not true historically.

Fantastic outfits. Phil's aura with white hair is 11/10. I like their aesthetics more when they switch their styles, for some reason. I guess pale skin cheekbones = goth, while curly haired sassy ironic humour = bubbly 90's child. The gay cowboy look on Phil fits him so well.

The final outfit made them look like they were getting married but in like Jersey or something . Very Atlantic City-esque. I would say Vegas if it weren't for the leather

Side note: I try not to be negative, but omg I hate Dragon City so much now. How bad is the mortgage that they need to shill this hard for a generic mobile game??? Can't be too mad about it tho, Phil knows to get that bag before Dan calls for another 5 year hiatus.

The outfit I was missing was I’d love for them to have styled outfits for each other from the others closet. So like a ..“my favourite outfit in your closet“ kinda look.

Re the bedroom situation my interpretation is that we've been shown the black and white bedroom as Dan's, the green/bamboo bedroom as Phil's, and Phil's filming room as a guest bedroom, and every bedroom in that place has a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom. I was a little surprised to see the bedroom is on the entry level, but I think also the office is probably on that level and the screening room is behind the textured wall on the upper floor, that also has their deck and garden. I think I'm most envious of their living area with the fireplace and couches and the huge windows.

(Probably unnecessary postscript) now I'm remembering the non-floating staircase that seems to lead to the deck/garden.

Again, not a floorplan stalker, more of a real estate appreciator.

This really made me chuckle as I am far too old to be playing mobile games but at this point even I thought, you know what. Maybe I could download it haha! I didn't but I feel you, enjoy flame Susan, I honestly cannot get on board with anyone getting annoyed with their spons, I do watch a lot of YouTube but their adverts always make me giggle and everyone else's generally make me want to bang my head against a wall, and don't get me started about if I ever see those irritating two theatre men talk about their natural deodorant. I do not work in a theatre, I do not want or need to lube up my armpit with a glorified antibacterial hand cream!

I agree re the holiday, I would love if once they were well back home they spilled the tea, especially if that meant they got a free stay because good for them, it's so hard to find nice places to stay, some actual IRL pics or videos and the real info about them is so so handy and there is absolutely a market for people who can afford a more mid priced or luxury holiday that's worth it, it's actually harder to find reviews and pics for that type of stuff as mega rich people don't normally have a blog or tell anyone so you go by price and end up somewhere that could be 1/10 or 10/10 you never know!

Editing this to say - I realise there are a lot of reviews online about literally everything but it's so hard to know for example, has that person ever been to a nice place before. I see so many reviews even for heinous spas in my local area where they get good reviews and the people have clearly just never been to a spa before if you see what I mean.

I agree that it can be a real struggle. When trying to find accommodation for TIT I first chose a place that had pretty pictures and good reviews on booking, but then the same place had horrible reviews on google. Then another place looked even better and had good reviews on booking but didn't even exist on google, so who tf knows what reviews would be there if it existed. When buying anything, I worry/expect I'll have an experience as bad as the worst review

I'm inferring from the kind of light in the photos on that staircase - it looks like natural sunlight and reminds me of places I've been with glass exits to roof access. Just inferring!

I love interior design, and it always frustrates me when I don’t understand the layout of a house!
It would give my brain some rest to just understand where which stairs lead, cause I always wonder when they feature in pictures and videos

I'm really bad at imagining stuff and putting it together from clips and pictures so I'd love a proper tour. Seeing the choices they make in the sims really makes me wonder what their real dream home looks like and I'd also love to hear some commentary and explanation behind those choices. They've already talked about what a death trap those floating stairs are for Phil. So what else?

I don’t think they’d do a house tour for several reasons.
-obviously safety: not wanting people to know their floor plan and have info that could be used to find which house it is

-not wanting critiques on their style: Dan has mentioned before that he needs to keep certain video games for himself because having people tell him he’s playing the game wrong makes it less enjoyable. With the sims design thing, I think it’s light hearted because it’s just the sims, who cares. But I could see it not being enjoyable having the whole internet giving their 2 cents on their decor choices. And the internet WOULD give their 2 cents.

-not wanting to seem braggy: I’m assuming they have a lot of expensiveass stuff in there and that’s not very relatable lol. I know we’ve seen the piano and other expensive stuff but idk, showing all your stuff for the sake of showing all your stuff feels different.

For some reason, I thought the paintings Phil's father made were somewhere in a shared living space but maybe that was their last apartment? Either way, I love the aesthetic of this room more than Dan's moon room.

I've seen people mention the moon room recently more than once, but wasn't that the previous apartment?
I'm also quite surprised that Phil is filming in this room but at least we get to see something new after we've just been discussing the phouse.
