I do think Dan 'bottoms' because of his references to himself as on the receiving end of sex when joking (e.g. 'stick me', 'fuck me up the ass', favoriting the like if you're a bottom tweet thing, possibly many more things I'm forgetting). But even if he 'bottoms' that doesn't mean he's submissive and it doesn't mean he doesn't 'top' also. Basically I'm saying we don't know anything either way and it's none of our fucking business.

I don't think there is anything wrong with fan fiction that presents Dan as a submissive girly bottom for example, because it's fiction, it's a fantasy. It's not an attempt to present truth but to present something enjoyable to read about. I think people should be able to write whatever they want to write about: Dan as a top, Dan as a bottom, Dan as a girl, Dan as a trapeze artist - without being accused of being hetero-normative. If you don't like it don't read it I suppose. Also while I disagree with labelling a group of human characteristics 'girly' ones, I do think Dan has 'girly' characteristics. whilst being biologically male. I do disagree with any writer who thinks Dan has to be be presented as submissive or girly because he's presented as a bottom. Submissive ≠ bottom, and vice versa.

First liveshow i watch in weeks and it was a good one. I'd really like to do timestamps but i'm too lazy so i'll kind of list my thoughts without a specific order: I hate cow and chicken, i loved the AMSR bit, i hate pineapple on pizza, he looks extremely cute, his hair is so pretty curly and that salad tossing comment, wow, hahah

Naaaaah I've had completely innocent ones rejected loads of times and haven't taken it personally, it doesn't mean anything besides perhaps repeated ones or perhaps just too many shout outs in one batch or sometimes probably completely by accident. I don't think Dan would be that petty about a fan community lol.

It would be a more lucrative choice to make a whole other video for the nail painting thing, instead of fulfilling two highly requested things in one video. Maybe that's why they excluded the nail polish? (idk about the rest of the props)

didn't he in one show say he rejected all the messages asking him for a festive name or something because he was getting so many.
in some ls he seemed weary of giving shoutouts to groupchats with problematic names.

This is an interesting trend. Reminds me of the radio show when they showed up on the chart to promote the request show, and then Aled showed up in that for his... meaning it feels like an intentional teaser and not just random at this point. More of the "all channels are OUR channels" philosophy this year?
