Dan & Phil Part 45: R.I.P danisnotonfire 2009-2017

I go take a shower and stuff and come back to see I've missed the (re-)rise and (re-)fall of Bahamagate. I hate Dan so much liajsdfasdf (tbh I'm way more amused than annoyed but oh boy does this troll know how to play with us)

Personally I think it would make the most sense for him to have gone there and back for work-related stuff for a few hours. I could imagine a restaurant doing fake plane tickets, but tickets that actually correspond to a real flight and an official-looking visa in a real-looking passport? That's stretching it too far. I hope we get to know what really happened some time soon in the future.

This is so weird, I was all "cool holiday", then "cheeky git thinks we're all dumb clucks", then "ohh I get it, cute joke got same reaction as any news" and now "huh?" How on earth do people find apparently genuine tickets to prove anything, no wonder they hide and misdirect.

Playlist has been fun, though. Only have slow wifi at hotel, wonder if I'll ever catch up with the thread, but it's been fun and I'll write more later. Maybe in a week once home. Trolling cheeky boy aside, the guys were great onstage, in their panel and their meetup (we were so lucky).

I feel bad but I'm enjoying the saga of Dan's Mystery Trip to the Bahamas more than I enjoyed Phil's video.

It's a lot of fun speculating / procrastinating when I should be prepping for work. I'm thinking it was an afternoon daytrip to kill time - just because. It's a quick and inexpensive flight, something fun and unusual, and a place Danielson's never been to before.

I sort of hope that Dan did that on purpose cause he knows that the phandom loves predicting stuff that's happening around them ('you see all') and no one predicted this Bahamas thing. To keep phandom occupied, and maybe it's clue for the March or February thing. Or just for the simple fun. Cause it's really entertaining

but Phils vid was still nice. Best part was him rubbing that huge vase on his face that doesn't even make sound

I think we all just got a bit too excited at the idea of a secret project/holiday/wedding.

I was getting excited for Margarita!Dan to rise with some kind of alcohol brand deal, shot with some beautiful tropical backgrounds. But.. blurry and out of focus background!phan in monotone vlogs from people I don't care about is uh.. basically the same thing.. right? ( what a troll, but I am still a leel disappoint)

Dan kept his Haru pillow on his bed for a lot of liveshows, but wouldn't acknowledge it was there. When he was asked about it he'd always just say he didn't know what the person was talking about, or go "Pillow? What pillow?" So has just come to symbolize something Dan or Phil do/say that they never acknowledge they did/said.

(A bit late on this one) The new Sims video is great but I wish Dab and Evan's hair hadn't changed...or that they would change it back. Not into their shaved heads. LOL

And I'm sad to say that Phil's new video is the first time I've struggled to watch one of his videos. I almost couldn't make myself finish it and was covering my ears for a lot of it. I HATE ASMR. It is almost physically painful to hear it to me. Gives me a headache, hurts my ears, makes me tense up and cringe. It's all like nails on a chalkboard. People put some of the worst possible sounds in those videos.

I have no answers whatsoever... I'm leaning more toward the whole thing being some sort of elaborate joke and he didn't actually go to the Bahamas, but I'm loving all the theories. Either way, Dan is such a troll and I find it hilarious. I would do the exact same thing if I were him.

The guitarist of a band I was a pretty big fan of a couple years ago once tweeted about flying to LA for like 15 minutes and left everyone on a cliffhanger similarly to what Dan seems to be doing. It turns out that he literally flew to LA and back straight away because he wanted to reach the highest frequent flyer status and that was the cheapest flight that got him the distance to achieve it. So I'm not ruling out anything and I'm feeling prepared for any explanation Dan may (or may not) give us

As for the beardroom theory, I definitely believe it's just a set. Phil has pretty much always filmed his videos in front of a bed with bedding of the same colour scheme, it doesn't seem far-fetched for him to want the same set-up in this apartment. Especially since the room can also serve as a guest bedroom and a place for him to chill if he wants some alone time. If the room which is said to be Dan's bedroom is the same size, I might second guess it, but I'm fully expecting it to be much larger with a king size bed if I'm being honest. With Phil still filming in "his bedroom" and Dan having a separate filming space, their supposedly separate bedrooms being on different floors, and now seeing how tiny that room is in comparison to his room in the last apartment, while I'm definitely open to the idea of them having separates bedroom, I can't help but to assume they're sharing one unless Phil has another bedroom upstairs or something

Also, the lack of windows makes me feel like the lower floor where all the filming locations are is a basement? Is that even a possibility? Maybe it's just the angles we're getting and/or some really good blinds/shades, but I'm not seeing any signs of windows.

Also also, I feel like all I do on here is compliment their outfits, but I love Phil's jumper in the video, the roses are so pretty
