Nice that he switched it up with the vodka but he didn't seem too affected by it for it to make a big difference/to make things more entertaining.

I've just watched the video and I actually enjoyed it. Do I think he was actually drinking vodka - um no. Would I like to think he was actually drinking it - yes definitely. I did wonder at some point if he was actually a bit drunk at the end, but he's a good actor so who knows.

The one thing I did take away from the video though, are Dan and Phil both sponsored by Doritos? jeez guys, you're really pushing those flamin hot doritos on us, both of you in a live show (more than once) and now in a video. hashtagspon.

I actually liked this video somewhat and while a bit cringy ("hi dad") I laughed at Dan avoiding discourse. And rubberupfordan holy shit while extremely funny I love that he actually said that because it's 2016 and some people think giving up condoms is some romantic gesture and some women believe it's uncomfortable for male partners and go through risks for that :/
Also I love envying his clothes I love that shirt so much aaand I admire him being able do drink straight up vodka I did that once on my teens and it BROKE me I can't stand the smell nowadays

I liked this one. Probably my favorite isg tbh. I laughed out loud at a few parts. The pillows gf reaction to what he himself said got me. And of course the #. I am normally indifferent to them so this was nice. I may watch it a few times.

I liked this isg better than the other ones and I like that he gave good advice even if I procrastinated hours to watch it because these videos aren't my favorites. It helped a lot that this wasn't the only content he put out in a month.

Fun facts: "Normie" and "Robot" are terms used by 4chan board /r9k/. I know Dan has mentioned that he goes on 4chan sometimes, but I didn't think it was this bad. He'd have to be a proper lurker to know what either of those words meant.

well, as an isg goes it was pretty enjoyable.

i liked that he was doing shots, it was a fresher take on the usual format and his giggle and "this was a really bad idea" at 2:42 warmed my cold, frozen heart.

I've pinpointed the main issue (for me): they're two straight dudes making a joke of two probable not-straight dudes. Hm yeah, fuck off Jack and Dean. Still want to see a recording, apparently they dragged TABINOF quite a few times too. Like ok, every time they get backlash (warranted or not) from the phandom they whine about it. Soooo why keep poking the bear? Sigh.

This kinda felt like - a very meh video. Like my favourite thing about it was Phil's tweet. It was fine. But it was - not a video worth waiting 2 weeks for, you know?

Like my standards are hight because I thought the last couple of their videos were fantastic, but this felt like a letdown even for ISG. I tend to think that the better and funnier Qs Dan chooses, the less funny his responses are in comparison. I was also somewhat reminded of Emma Blackberry when he equated not being understood for fandons with LGBT+ issues, which you don't want. Like I think it's him learning to talk about this to his audience, which is understandable and promising, but I still wasn't impressed.

Also, can someone explain to me the point of a #lolzor getting drunk on what I'm assuming was water and then not pretending to be, you know, drunk? Or it was actual vodka and Dan's just a fucking pro, but I somehow don't think so.

And finally, when he talked about finding people thanks to the internet, a part of me thought we were far enough that he'd mention Phil by name. Oh well.

(Also, does anyone have this weird flashback-esque reaction to Dan mentioning boobs? Nothing weird for a man I assume likes men and women both, but it's just such a weird reminder of a time that once was & that is always a lurking thread in my head. Idk. I'm not entirely sober, so maybe I'll think I was being overly dramatic in the morning.)

I liked the new ISG, he sounded quite ill though so I was concerned that alcohol wasn't the best thing. I also don't think he would fake it either, just think he wouldn't do that to his audience. In the 'kinds of drunk people' video, Dan mentioned a few stories of his teenage years and as a result, I doubt that he would be a lightweight now. I also think he started to lose his inhibitions a little bit and open up more, the second half seemed super real and not all staged (a lot of his content feels staged nowadays). Maybe filming was a fairly quick process this time around and there wasn't enough time for the alcohol to kick in? I don't know, I don't drink much.

So tbh, I'm not sure he was faking it like you all seem convinced he was.

On another slightly unrelated note, I feel very proud that Dan has stopped biting his nails a bit. I've struggled with the habit for over 10 years now and I'm not sure I could do it. Maybe he's just too busy to bite them, Idk.

I think it's this Givenchy shirt from the Brits/'Going Deep' video! So yeah, £695, and you can't even really see the embroidery unless you're looking... But I do love that he actually wears his designer pieces just in videos/casually, rather than leaving them in the wardrobe just because they're designer.

I didn't really like the video, to be honest. I did watch at 1.5x speed while wanting desperately to get back to the Olympics, which might be part of it, but I just found it boring. Agree with phamnotof about the drinking, didn't get that. It is cute that he's apparently moved towards just giving advice and trying to be helpful to his fanbase in these videos, but personally I found that less entertaining and engaging.

There were definitely moments I liked, and I found it interesting/cool that he was happy to use the term queer in a main channel video (even reusing someone else's words), but overall I wasn't a fan.
