Undertale vid was nice. Phil guessing Dear my sexy diary during the diary part. Sexy diary? In such a pinky girly room? I like them being supportive of Mettaton's pink room and not judging him for that.

Regarding Dan shading either the party and/or Phil's flaming shots...Perhaps Dan was hoping to go off early together with Phil but Phil was like I want to stay a bit longer, it seems to be a fun party. & Dan had to go home alone.

I am really liking the uploading schedule for Gamingmas. But I hope it won't stress the boys out though. Daily uploading can be quite stressful and challenging.

On a side note, anyone having trouble with the site?

It's also possible the carrot is just to go with playing as a reindeer, as the most stereotypical food I'd first think of to give them. It doesn't have to be a dick joke, it could just be the animal and bondage kinks alone (they're popular ones too, along with the one I thought of when he put "in your lap" as his location )

Unpopular opinion: I'm losing interest with gamingmas, their uploading schedule sucks, yes I can seen it the next day but I came back at 6pm at home usually, by then I'm too tired to enjoy it, I totally skipped some of their videos, clicked watched the first 5 min and then clicked out. Undertale is a lost cause, I repeat it was late but the game itself is boring, the hotel bit where they sold things was a total turn off. That's not to say some videos weren't great, the kinetik one was . At the end it's probably natural that with so much content not all of it it's good for me

For Dan teasing Phil about the shots, I saw it simply as joking. Dan shading vloggers. it's not only him standing up for someone dear that usually doesn't (as Phil is the type, to "have lost the invite" instead of say no) but being fed up about being used by some of them. In that regards I remember when a flipside (?) party during vidcon (?) tomska said that he went but didn't film others as they are people, I'm sure deppy value that, to be free to let their hair down without someone filming them.

I was the one who asked "how were the shots phil" as a joke on the livestream and i didnt expect Dan to read it, but when he did I was excited about it.
But then I read the posts on here, and after rewatching it 200 times, I started freaking out because I was afraid my question/joke had upset them or at least caused Dan to get upset about having been filmed?
I know it's silly but I just didn't want 'that one time they answered me' to leave a bad taste?

Then he joked about it in the Undertale video, so I was really relieved because I thought "if it really bothered him he wouldn't bring it up in a video".
But it seems many of you still think he sounded salty/upset. So now I'm still feeling bad
Phil didn't really seem to mind I think? He looked quite excited to talk about it (at least I hope so..)

I just had an incredible dream.
Dan and Phil were filming a gaming video in their lounge. Phil on the left, Dan on the right (wyd, but ok). They were doing an activity where they had to help each other to pass the level. It must have been a difficult level because when they passed it, Phil jumped up and down, and Dan let out one of his emphatic sighs of relief. Then it happened.
They were so happy, smiling at each other...then Dan curled his right hand around the back of Phil's neck and pulled their bodies together. Dan went in for a quick kiss. Just a couple of happy seconds, but as if it was the most natural thing in the world, and then turned back, both smiling at the TV. The game continued. And that was it. The truth was revealed in a handful of seconds.
When I viewed this go down, I immediately had the most intense feeling of shock (even though, I personally believe they're together) - but it had finally happened! As if I had tipped off the top of the Shard into a lake of love... #phanconfirmed.
The shock took me out of the dream, but I had to take a few moments when I woke to convince myself that that wasn't an actual real video that I had just watched.
I hope the image of them kissing is seared into my brain forever.

Aw no, don't feel bad. If he is salty about Phil being filmed without permission, that doesn't really have anything to do with you. To be honest, I didn't think he seemed upset in the Undertale video anyway.

Hi! I think people are reading too much into this. The way I saw it, Dan was just having fun teasing Phil, and the giggly/smiley way Phil responded to the teasing seems to show that he knew that. It was quite adorable imo . I would say you have nothing to worry about

You were definitely not the only person asking about the shots lol and if they're annoyed about it, the annoyance would be directed at the sneaky vloggers, not fans asking about it after the fact. mermaid blood I loved reading your post. I really can't wait for Tuesday to see what kind of mood Dan's in or what he'll say about gamingmas without Phil there propping up the bright side. As proud as he is of the videos, I really think Dan is just a bit overworked and tense about the whole thing and what came out in the liveshow was that along with annoyance at the work events he was forced to/reluctantly attend/ing (especially the brandcast mess and not being fully informed about the cringe that awaited them aka a horrific nightmare for people with socially anxious tendencies). It was the same thing last year when they had to go to New York right after getting back from Japan (creator's summit?) and Dan was fully salty about it in a joint liveshow then too. YT is always on thin ice with him

's uploading shedule is overwhelming and I can barely keep up, but I'm loving all the videos. Impressed by the editing quality considering the short turnaround time, there seem to be more little added memes/details than usual (not that those details necessarily make videos better, it's usually the bants, but still they show effort). Somehow this gamingmas aimed at quickly increasing the sub/view count on DAPG must be a part of their post tatinof youtube strategy. Wonder if they are going to treat gaming channel as their main "Dan and Phil" platform from now on and individual channels as creative outlets/casual updates channels.

Undertale is not my favourite game they've played, but the last two episodes brought back the excitement over the game that I had when they released the first episode back in January. Loved Dan showing off his vocal range and teasing Phil for doing shots in the yesterday's vid. They stayed focused on the gameplay, did justice to the characters and the editing did not make it hard to follow the story. Good episode!

I think Dan being a bit grumpy lately is a mix of stress because of daily uploads/sickness/moodiness he gets from time to time. I'd say it's pretty tolerable this time and did not ruin videos/the ls for me.

Finally watched the new Undertale...

I'm gonna overanalyze obnoxiously here. 8:30 - "I wish you talked like that all the time. That could be your 2017 voice" says Phil. This is obviously a joke, but it sort of feels they definitely think in phases and 2017 is gonna be something different. The rebranding is chill and slow, but why not joke about changing your voice too? IDK if it makes sense, but I know that if a friend was doing a silly voice, my first thought would not be to tell them it should be their "2017 voice." I'd be more inclined to say "you should make that your permanent voice" or something.

This was written before the forum went down, but I agree with fancybum re: Dan's comments about the party and shots. They really didn't sound bitter or salty to me. They filmed this around the time of the LS, which means that all those party videos had come out and the phandom had already gone wild over Phil doing shots. Dan was probably just poking fun at it.

It's hard to not quote this entire post but I definitely agree with these points.

If Dan was salty at all underneath the chance to make a joke, it strikes me as salty at himself, not at Phil. if his fear and discomfort of social situations (as he said recently, not gonna bother rehashing this point; it was discussed at length in a thread not long ago), is worse at certain times compared to others, coming home to edit was a good excuse to leave earlier. i relate to that frustration. it's annoyance at yourself, and maybe a bit of jealousy, but jealousy at the other's ability to relax and have fun without it being a 'thing' built up in their head. not at them having fun without you and not limiting their life along with your's.

And also this part:

as with Dan, there's always a spectrum or context that's a little different from say, the way you might judge the moods of someone else who is not him. yes I don't think he's doing super amazingly right now, but i also don't think he's doing horribly. he's coping and has a lot of positive energy reserve.

It doesn't really benefit anyone to say Dan is a bad mood if you're comparing him to Phil, because Dan and Phil's moods never exhibit themselves in the same way. The only way you can judge Dan's mood is to compare Dan to himself at times when it's obvious that his anxiety or frustration are higher. To me, right now, Dan seems like - as mermaid said - someone who might be struggling a little bit but is coping in positive way.

And last part I'll quote and reply to:

Because, same. It struck me that while Phil is definitely growing far more comfortable with physical affection and humor and innuendo, I don't think Phil is still entirely sure of how to react to/comfort/lead Dan when the camera is on and Dan is agitated. Phil's attention is divided, too much of Phil's focus is set on guarding him/themselves still, probably just as an instinct at this point during a live show where nothing can be edited out, and it causes moments where it seems like Phil is being callous with Dan. But then I think sometimes his attitude of guarding them does play out perfectly and might be what Dan needs - like redirecting the conversation when it is about to go into territory that might make Dan feel bad or send him on what would be a spiraling rant if it were a solo Dan liveshow.

I have to say that the guys are continuing to do an outstanding job with Gamingmas. I think that Dan has made it his latest challenge obsession to publish a new video every day until Christmas(? - is that the plan, IDK.) Plus the vids en masse are pretty fucking entertaining. Good work (I know it takes a lot of work / time to maintain the schedule.) Side note that Thatcher Joe has been unable to keep his Vlogmas series going at a vid/day rate. Nothing's wrong with that, it just illustrates how difficult/time consuming it is.

OT: I just started bingeing on YOI, on S1E7 now. Wow, pretty blatant BoB attraction / senpai pursuing kohai (or is it sensei pursuing senpai?), ahem... Love the skaterboy artwork...

While I liked that this time I did actually still remember what went on in the previous episode, I still zoned out throughout at least half of it. Just not into it

My favorite bit was the 'This is what happens when Phil does flaming shots' part. You can speculate about why Dan said that and sounded the way he did, whether it's genuine annoyance (I don't think so) or poking fun at the phandom for making a big deal out of Phil drinking (maybe) but I personally see it as nothing more than a joke between them. I don't think he was actually upset (about that anyway, Dan does seem to not be in the best emotional state rn but hey I can relate bruh) and that his tone was intentional. However, what got me about that part is that Dan sounds a little like a cliché annoyed spouse who doesn't like their significant other going out on the town with their friends and coming home late or something. Bringing up amounts of alcohol that weren't consumed (if we believe the liveshow Phil only drank one shot yet here Dan is talking about multiple) and mentioning imaginary strippers. It sounded like the spouse waiting by the front door, tapping their foot and going 'Oh look who came home too late, you smell like booze and whose fucking lipstick is that on your cheek hm?' :') I don't think Dan actually is the type who says they ain't mad but then keeps bringing it up anyway, but boy did they sound like a bickering couple in that part.

There was also some cute couple bickering over money. Phil thinks they should save up, Dan lives by the treat yaself motto and happily spends money on the hotel room. Then we had Phil shaking Dan telling him what as waste of money it was (which was cute).

I also liked Dan cracking up at Phil attempting a high pitches voice that wasn't in his range anymore after his wild night and Dan wanting to put his penis under a door. It's not a glory hole Dan.

In the liveshow they said they both want to make a main channel video this year and while I would love that, I wonder if that's really the best thing to do rn. We already know they aren't exactly planning ahead with gamingmas, adding main channel videos (which take a lot longer to make) spells potential disaster imo. Especially Dan looks stressed out already, and honestly DINOF only stresses him out more because he puts such ridiculous standard on himself. His videos are best when he's at least slightly relaxed, so maybe he should leave it to the new year.. I get that the channel hasn't seen any action in almost two months (excluding DAPGOOSE) and he's probably worried about that but forcing it ain't gonna do anything. I just want them to take all the free time they can get after this hectic year they've had I guess.
