Thanks for making a new board oqua! I got so much work done today with no GG to procrastinate on..
Loved the new gaming video, the same game was on a Fine Bros video recently so I played it the other day and it's ridiculously stressful.
Tbh I wish they'd done more of it so we could've got more bands.

I didn't make the new forum!!! I helped a bit but it was a massive team effort! Led by Jhamba, leader of the rebellion, champion of the downtrodden, crusader against injustice.

I like the gaming video, i really enjoy it, I just give up and I'm taking everything they trow me...

And the video was fun. I'm not good at thinking outside the box so I was impressed at Phil. And they were cute moments.

I think the thing I loved most about the video was how actually good at it Phil was. You can kind of tell that Dan wasn't expecting Phil to catch onto to some of those questions to quickly, but Phil was quite clever with a few of his answers and got the references/jokes when Dan didn't. It really helped to temper some of that dinof smugness that gets so irritating to me in gaming videos.

So what are we gonna do?

It's in the baby stages at the minute, and there are some tweaks that still need to be made, but we will get there in a few days

I think the only copying of posts can really come from people who made the posts to begin with, though a lot of the really useful reference/compilation threads are going to be recreated here soon.

(There's actually a thread on this forum to discuss the GG drama, too, if anyone wants to clear the air or voice their opinions about that, if anyone is just confused, since all the posts were deleted by GG mods.)

rofl, the dysfunctional website is still down even though "12 hours" has long passed. I say we move here. Just so we know we have a stable site that is not prone to erroring out (lol, fighting the errors was one reason I just decided to stop trying for the most part).

As for the gaming video, i wish they skipped the first few questions and got to the annoyingly frustrating ones. I wanna see them rage quit a flash game. Though, I do very much enjoy sticking these impossible quiz playthroughs on in the background while I'm occupied with other things. I quite enjoy the playthroughs on gtlive.

Copying everything over or archiving using a site like archive(dot)org/web ("Please remove the link(s) from your post and try again." Ahh) will be tedious but well worth it, considering how unstable GG is, with mods deleting posts that make them look bad and all

Hello! Long time/fist blah blah, but I've always found this group to be a refreshing contrast from the majority of superphans out there, especially in terms of age. I felt ancient when I went to watch Phil's first vid and saw the top comments be ones like "I was 2 when this came out)

Totally rolled my eyes when I saw the thumbnail (really? another silly intenet game?) but was very pleasantly surprised at the actual video quality. There was some lovely chemistry and genuine enthusiasm (and some truly cute moments letsbehonest) from the guys. I s'pose it goes to show that the topic of the video doesn't matter as much as how involved they actually are.

Having said that I really liked the faq on the old site - is there going to be a do-over of that on here?

Also all the forum rules/guidelines etc. were well thought out - if anyone hasn't read them yet prob check them because there have been instances in the past of people posting stalkerish content in (relative) ignorance

On topic: I hated the Jack & Dean video, and I hated the fact that Phil making an appearance at the very end meant I had to watch the whole thing.
Good that his voice acting skills have been picked up on by the community though

Happy 1 year bour announcement anniversary :!: (that was how I found this place, in the ensuing shitstorm, what a beautiful disaster)

more ideas:
1) We both wanted to adopt so we adopted... together... also we got married so it would be easier to adopt.

2) We bought a house and the loan process was easier, married.

3) Married? we didn't get married. It's just out friendship-party with friendship-rings and friendship-cake.

4) Lol, we got married, yes, but Phan is still not real, we are just friends.

5) We got married by accident... Trust me, you don't want to know.

Yes, we plan to transfer the entirety of the F.A.Q. to this thread as soon as GG goes back online. Some posts have already been saved as well.

And ahhh yes...the bour...what a happy anniversary indeed.

Actually I wasn't even in the phandom then. I binge-read all the past GG threads except the ones around the time of the bour announcement because I found them depressing.
