If this was it, and there were loads of big white pillows on it to the side, it would explain why one end of the reflection is curved and the other is square, if seeing the bed that has been linked previously.
Also, the things behind could be on a square bedside table or chest of drawers (next to what could be a wardrobe) that is somewhat behind the bed. Or at least appears to be because of the curve.
can someone plz tell me how to hyperlink

That bed has a 6'6" diameter, only a couple inches longer than Deppy. I'm shorter than they are, but I don't sleep in a regular bed shorter than 6'8" (and that's a rectangle, not a circle!). I don't see how that size/shape could possibly be comfortable for two tall guys who, let's be real, aren't going to be spooning all the time!

Thats the part I'm struggling with. 6'6 (approx 200 cm) diameter is super king size, but thats assuming a square bed and they take up a lot of room because they're both tall. I definitely think they'd go for the biggest possible they could get.
Also thank you!!!!!

Unfortunately it doesn't cover hyperlinks, which it really should - I'll get that sorted later today. Hopefully.
sparkle, there's nothing wrong with just pasting the link in your post, but if you'd like to, you can use the url tags by clicking the url button above the post editor, which will give you:
once you have that, put an equals sign after the first "url", paste your link right after the equals sign, and type whatever text you'd like between the and:
Let me know if you have any other questions or problems.

I agree that a circle is too hard to share but I'm pretty tall and I don't think length is a huge factor. I'm nearly 5' 10 and my ex is over 6 foot and we shared a queen bed for six years. So even if you're not small I don't feel like you need a huge bed to share. I don't understand the virtue of a circular bed at all. It seems uncomfortable and inefficient space-wise. But it's aesthetic so I wouldn't put it past Dan.

My biggest problem with that theory is... would Phil really take the pic sitting on Dan's bed, knowing fair well that the phandom analyses every picture to bits and has tried to analyse the reflections of things in photos before? I just don't see that happening, not even for a fun photo. They're too careful for that, I just can't see Phil uploading a picture taken in Dan's totally secret new bedroom. (I actually think we should let this go to be honest. They've made it clear they don't want us to know what exactly the new flat looks like so I kind of feel like this detective work is disrespecting that. But that's just me, I don't wanna spoil anyone's fun. )

I loved the live show, but honestly the highlight was the Colin t-shirt.
For Christmas, I hope they double down and get him a Colin mousepad.

I saw his tweet and smosh's video, I was such a huge fan back in 2012 and although I don't really watch them or have any interest in them anymore I'm pretty taken aback wow[/offtopic]

Dang, that's surreal. Smosh has been around for as long as I can remember. But this video reminded me of something I've been thinking about a lot lately. Rant that's kind of off topic:
Maybe this just sounds like something annoying that people say all the time, but I miss the old YouTube. I wasn't even there for it either or at least not a lot of it. I miss when I was 10 and I would see video responses. I miss the sense of community there was. I miss when YouTube wasn't a brand and a business, but a place where people could go to have fun and enjoy just doing whatever they wanted. I watch Phil's old videos and I watch pabloislove and those videos just feel like friends having fun because that's what it is. Then again, I'm sure back then, making money off of what they do would've seemed like a dream. This just seems like an example of "be careful what you wish for because you just might get it".

Wow, that is big Smosh news.
On the bed subject, don't actually mean to be annoying but I really thought Phil is just sitting on Dan's grey chair so that could just be the wall behind him. Also if it's just Dan's bed, maybe he likes to curl up, or it's the other design of floating bed that's a normal shape and size, either way.
Ooh, I'm a Haru pillow now. Feel like I've arrived or something.

[offtopic]belatedly and offtopic, i don't think thomas and leo are actually officially boyfriends any more. thomas has made recent comments on tumblr and twitter that insinuate he is single.
of course there's always the chance that he's joking around, but idk.[/offtopic]

I feel like not that long ago that was something Dan always did, and now Phil is doing it.
Also thanks for the new FAQ thread, it looks great.

Idk if it's just me but sometimes I randomly look at Dan and Phil's schools on wikipedia and just wonder about all the alumni and everything in relation to them. For example, on Phil's schools wikipedia a former teacher is noted as an LGBT rights activist who taught at their school somewhere between 1999-2006; Phil would have gone to the school in 1998 so the teacher (teaching English and Drama, I assume judging by his previous teaching jobs) may have taught him! It's oddly interesting for me, I'm like "Wow, that's cool" especially as Phil went on to study English, so he could've been a great teacher who inspired him - who knows?
Can you tell I've finished exams now and have literally nothing better to do but peruse their wikipedias?
Also Dan's tweet about exam memes is too relatable for me, they're literally the only saving grace after an exam tbh.

I'm so glad that this is the thread title.
About the bed thing, the thing behind Phil definitely curves the wrong way for him to be sitting on a bed like the one you guys dug up on the internet. Their apartment is gonna remain a mystery of a long ass time, just how they like it :')
On the birthday present thing: While I agree that it must be hell to shop for your rich ass son whom you haven't lived with in years (and perhaps aren't close enough with to know about their interests.. or they simply don't tell you which is what I do lol) a present with the same theme as you did with Christmas is just so.. blah in a 'did you even try?' kinda way. Like they just moved house.. sure they still have the necessities from their old flat and anything that they want new or replaced they could buy easily but idk I'd ask if there was something Dan would want for his new place or something. That's just me though. Not saying they're the worst parents evur!!1 but it's just odd to me. Families are weird I guess.
somethingsketchy wrote:I'm a bit confused about people freaking out about Phil going to visit his family. I mean, he is clearly very close with them, so why couldn't he go see them often without there needing to be an emergency. Besides, Phil mentioned in his last ls that Martyn had recently moved house and that he had given him a houseplant, so in my opinion it's plausible that his previous 'family thing' had something to do with that. Additionally, as someone already mentioned, it is Fathers' Day in the UK on Sunday.
It's because the trip seems to be a little sudden.. If he had planned a visit he probably would've told us that there wouldn't be a liveshow on Thursday in his own show but he had Dan suddenly announce it instead. Of course it could've slipped his mind but they do usually tell us when they won't be able to make it next time or are postponing. On top of that, Phil basically just came back from a loooong holiday with his parents. Of course he might jus want to see his grandparents and I agree that Father's Day is definitely the most plausible theory rn (though I don't get leaving in the beginning of the week for that.. must be nice to decide your own hours I guess), but that's where the family emergency theory comes from and I don't think it's that weird of a thing to think of.
I haven't kept up with Smosh in years and anything more recent I've seen from them (which at this point must be like 2 years ago as well sooo..) was lame as hell but considering how iconic Smosh and Ian & Anthony are as a duo to the YouTube community, the history of the website and just.. the internet as we know it, I'm pretty shook anyway. Will this be the final nail in the coffin of delulu Ianthony shippers btw?
lol @ Louise plugging her book before announcing that she's pregnant. Happy for her, though a bit surprised because her and her boyfriend haven't been together for that long yet have they? Less than a year? (I'm checking out of her channel now though -wasnt subscribed, just watched her when bored sometimes- because it's no doubt gonna trigger my tokophobic self at some point).
