I think we can all agree that people hold different opinions on here (or anything really) because we have different reasons/motives why we want to discuss various topics in the first place.

My personal interest in their interior layout: like I've mentioned, I'm just a nerd when it comes to architecture and creating floors plans via sims. i have sincere curiosity when it comes to it even with tv shows and movies I watch. I create floor plans in my head too when I read books. I'm just a sucker for HGTV and shows like fixer upper and property brothers lol. And sure, others may have different reasons for why they want to figure out their floor plan too and that's fine as long as (like someone mentioned before) we aren't envasive of their privacy like leaking actual addresses, location, neighborhood, anything that can harm these two, etc.. I think wanting to know what's inside their home is harmless and again (someone else has mentioned), we are discussing from physical images what dan and phil have shown us. They're feeding us a 1,000 piece puzzle and most of us here like solving puzzles lol. we may never solve this but I'll for sure love them regardless

Whatever the topic it may be, whats currently being discussed or what will be discussed in the near future, I think it's ok to (harmlessly) bant and share our opinions and our reasons for doing so!

Social Repose is garbage anyway regardless of whether or not he defends felix. he collabs frequently with yt's cancer that is onision and a couple months back he did a whole video "justifying" using a headdress despite people calling him out for cultural appropriation. so it wouldn't be a surprise if he thinks throwing around the n word isn't a big deal. i'm sure he's done more and i'm just not aware of it. i'm glad you unsubscribed tbh and no i don't think you were being hasty at all, i would've done the same thing.

i think it's the biggest pile of bullshit i've ever seen. it's just a minute and a half of him looking somber and saying "he'll be a better person" - like bruh, your entire career is built on rape jokes and putting boobs on the thumbnail i doubt after all these years and all the millions you've made you're suddenly going to transform into a saint. I love how he didn't once address the racist aspect of the whole thing, how that word has such a dark and oppressive history behind it and how it is justified that people called him out for it. he "apologized" as if it was just another swear word and not something that is inherently racist. I'm sure he sincerely regrets what he's done but not because he understands why what he did was wrong but rather that he doesn't want to deal with all the negative backlash he's about to get.
the comments were awful as well, couldn't read more than three of them. just white person after white person commenting about either "how he is a good person and needs to be forgiven" or "how it's just a word". I'm really looking forward to all the mental gymnastics other youtubers have to do to justify this one - last time they had the media to blame it all on, this time it's all him, no one forced the word out of him.

Why is everyone so obsessed with the idea of multiple apartments etc, like think outside the box but honestly occam's razor and all that so personally I think they just have one.

Yeah, I haven't been subscribed for long, only since his response to Dan's emo video, and I haven't watched every video since so I was unaware of the cultural appropriation comments. Anyway, yeah, consider myself unsubscribed. OT but doesn't he condemn Onision? Whatever, he uses him for views and doesn't seem much better than him.

I agree! Which makes me sad as I've enjoyed all the other playthroughs of that game that I've watched (and also I love the Game Grumps). I think you're right that they just completely rush it and I confuse all the voices! Also, they don't seem that into it. I wouldn't mind if they stopped playing it tbh!

same, I have not seen a single other playthrough (except for 5 minutes of Markiplier and then I went 'meh' and shut the tab) so to me it's still very enjoyable because I'm unspoiled for the game. (Mostly.)

I caved and watched Mark's playthrough about a week or so before they started, and I don't watch many of Mark's videos but I personally really enjoyed it! His dadsona voice was really funny and it didn't feel rushed to me (I even ended up watching a 5-hours-or-so livestream where he played through every single date except Joseph, I think he said at the end that he forgot).

I really hope diddle and fran play Joseph's cult ending, although I don't think they'll take the time/care enough to create multiple save files when in case they mess up

I'm also mostly unspoiled for DD and still enjoying it. Also I disagree that they're not into it. I mean, it's definitely not one of their favorite games, but I think they're interested in the way the story is going to unfold. I think the only problem is that all that reading tires them out (phil especially), even more so because they rush it. And I still stand by the fact that they should've just played it all in one go and upload an episode every day/two days, so people wouldn't lose interest, OR they could've played it in a longer livestream, but that's just unrealistic for them, isn't it? *sighs*

I would like to see them continue DD, because I had a lot of fun playing it myself. I feel like the game gets more fun once you start dating around lol, so I hope D&P -and- D&P's audience aren't spooked off from it yet. It's very reading heavy, and I think it would benefit them to cut it up into shorter chunks so it's not as much as a drag for them to film/edit it, and not as much as a drag for the audience to watch it... idk.

idk - it's strange to me that discussions of their apartment would be more invasive than discussions of the nature/ intimacies of their relationship... or their mental health. i would much rather people speculate about my home than my personal flaws/ relationships.

as Katka said, it isn't done out of the spirit of stalking. from my understanding, there is absolutely zero intent of locating their apartment, but for the purpose of understanding them in "space".

Just wanted to say I agree with this! I think speculation about houseplans is fine as long as we're using info deppy themselves have shown us.
And it does seem strange people are willing to discuss in-depth someone's mental health and personal relationships, but not the aspects of their home that they are literally showing us?

Agree with both of the above posts but I can see why people are uncomfortable with discussing their flat. i feel that as long as we are only analysing things that they have shown us (be it direct or in the background) then I don't see harm in that. Of course we wouldn't allow people to post information on their location or anything that could easily identify their location as we don't want to encourage stalking at all.
I remember when they moved, I found it so weird not being able to imagine them doing a liveshow from a place I felt like I knew. It feels different now because we've seen areas of the flat, but discussing one or two flats doesn't mean I am interested in knowing where abouts they live - I'm just nosey and would love to know how the place is laid out seeing as they keep saying it's complicated. I definitely don't mean any harm by it.

The good thing about forums is that the subject literally changes quite quickly and more than one subject can be discussed. The MH discussion and discussions about their relationship make me uncomfortable so I check to make sure no rules are broken but I don't participate.
