Why are people comparing their experience/culture/opinon differences? compare the two people involved, they are the only ones relevant.

Dan was a highschooler and a big fan of Phil, who had lived out of home for several years and just completed his masters degree. We don't know Phil's sexual and relationship history, we do know (some) of Dan's. Phil had a track record of sexual talk (reciprocated) online with teenagers, both sexes.

these are the facts, regardless of the interpretation you bring to the table. both sides are unlikely to ever agree. i don't think it's unfair to be alerted to behaviour and relationships that can correlate with manipulation and abuse. it means you give a shit.

the fairest conclusion is probably to admit those instincts are justified in a lot of situations, but we don't know if they are in this case. nor can we guarantee they're unwarranted. we don't know them. claiming what one has done to the other and the inner workings of their relationship dynamic is ridiculous. this particular conversation comes up semi-frequently in the phandom and it bothers me, because it's a serious one. sometimes i think people are too determined to defend to the death, or vilify, people they're fans of. logic gets lost in the discourse.

Dan's jeans usually has really low crotch so there are plenty of dick space i would imagine. So we can't really tell. And Phil I've seen some nice bulge from him couple of times.

I personally believe, which is based on my completely untested unscientific theory, from their personalities, that Dan doesn't seem to have a D that is too big nor too small, and Phil are more likely to have a big D.

Few of my thoughts on the age talk:

I have thought about this many times, how laws kinda form our perceptions of what is okay and what is not. I'm not pro-weed myself because it's illegal here, but I HAVE dated a 22 year old when I was 16. The power-dyamic wasn't unbalanced, but it also depends on the actual people in the relationship.

So when I read stuff like this, I just don't seem to get it. Yeah i get how it can be illegal and problematic BUT I don't get how it's just considered inherently bad and not okay. As I said, we don't know the people involved, really.

Also I'm surprised even that almost no nudes have leaked of Youtubers . I wouldn't want anyone to be in the situation of leaked... anything really (vlody ) but I'm just... surprised it hasn't happened yet.

You don't want to hear my thoughts on the sex tape thing tho a few of us may have a movie night and show it on a big screen but other than that I think they would be a lot smarter than to have it anywhere near a computer.

Ngl in the beginning when I found the phandom and started reading more into their history I did side eye Phil a bit. I can see where an older, popular guy who invites someone he met online that lives a few hours away to his house when his parents are gone could seem a bit shady. At that age even a few year age gap could be an issue depending on the people and situation. Luckily for both of them it ended up being something good. Did anyone every wonder if maybe Dan was trying to take advantage of Phil in the start? Maybe try to use him for his connections and popularity? Since Dan from the start wanted that. Phil even then was well respected in the yt community. Manipulation can go both ways in different ways or reasons.

Anyways since I'm so late in commenting on things. The editing in Louise's video was very odd and jumpy. I'm amused they let her touch them freely. Dan's video was a bit long but amusing to me. I wouldn't want to go out to eat with that group,not that I could afford it anyways,but its more of a funny to hear not to be part of. I hope Phil did a video with Louise and they put it up soon.

I'm happy to see Dan join the Lester's on their family vacation but I really hope someone burns that hat or a gator gets it.

This. I'm of the mind that there are other factors that are red-flags for a potentially abusive relationship besides age, such as large financial differences. And that's partly why people are bringing up their cultural experiences, because outside statutory laws, there's only morals which are going to differ for everyone. And despite the age difference, I actually don't see D&P's early relationship as that unbalanced education level sure, but if that's an issue than I'm going to have to cancel my date with a Phd student whose 4 years older than me, no more than most other relationships when you consider the multitude of other factors that can unbalance relationships.

Felucca I went through all the updatedphan pics and also am halfway through tumblr tags (you deserve it for all you've done for the phandom )! My eyes are burning from angled Dan and wide eyed Phil. In some pics they literally look like they want to just be left alone, especially when fans caught them at the airport. I don't know how they are going to go to all these shows take 100 pics minumum per venue with little break in between and still come back alive. It emotionally draining to fake expressions/enthusiasm repeatedly over that long of a time. We saw the birth of robot DP with their hair compliments and tired voices and I think it's going to be back pretty soon. I I'm actually really worried for them they need some energy bars or something :wtf:

completely off topic but i think someone mentioned the zalfie boyfriend tag video a few pages ago (or maybe it was another thread idek at this point) so i went to check it out and i'm only 7 minutes in and they have already mentioned: 1 - going on their first 'date' to a ferris wheel 2 - having 6 hours video calls on skype when they first started talking, i'm starting to believe yt couples have some sort of check list

I know Socialblade lists both tomska and danisnotonfire as being under different networks than Channelflip, but if their youtube channels still list Channelflip emails as business emails and they're both still on the site as creators under the network I'm inclined to believe that Dan (and Tom) are still under Channelflip, unless Tom comes out and clarifies (because Dan sure as hell won't) that this is not the case.

IDK?! I am serious btw, I know that furries different have sexual attraction, as i said their are different kind of furries, but according to wikipedia,

the survey was replicated in 2008, and it found 17% of respondents reported zoophilia.

What I'm saying is I'm not ruling out any possibilities unless we have concrete evidence of anything, furry or non furry.

And based on urbandictionary's various definitions, being a furry doesn't automatically mean you want to have sex with an anthropomorphic animal/an animal. I figured that too, but Louis Cole (FunForLouis) left Channelflip, but his picture is still used on their website, although he's not featured as prominently as Dan, Phil and Tom and he is no longer listed as a creator.
