I loved today's video. I know we all knew a lot of the answers but the way Dan and Phil knew the backstory to each answer and the way they acted (mostly Dan) when the answer was wrong just reminded me of how I act when I'm in a relationship. Don't get me wrong- I have close friends that I have known my entire life and I've known things about them- but I usually don't remember all of the small, silly things unless I was there too- the marriage vibes were strong.
Also agree about Phil's tweet- he was way too amused and Dan was way too embarrassed for it to be an innocent tweet.
I give this video a 9/10 and I am loving evil Phil. I hope he sticks around

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? I loved this video, it was so relaxed and funny. Seeing them work together like this in gaming videos is my favorite thing and there were so many trashcan worthy moments. One the best gaming videos they've done this year.
Highlights:
Yandere Simulator I liked seeing them play this and the video was entertaining, but not as good as Millionaire. I'd kinda like to see them revisit it and have them go in with an actual plan on how to play because there are a lot strategies they can use. They'd have to agree on one first though because Dan was all about friendship while Phil just wanted to stab some people. 
Not a lot of highlights imo but:
Best Fiends I wasn't exactly jumping for joy seeing an Ad pop up in my subs but it's partly for charity so yay! Now I don't think anyone cared about that game much, including Deppy let's be real, we were watching for the quizzing of each other. The questions were super standard but it still delivered on the cute so it's all good And again they seemed to be enjoying themselves, they were all smiley and banty.

Height Discussion I feel like a big reason as to why people think Dan used to be shorter than Phil because he was smaller than him in body mass if that makes sense. 2009!Dan was tall, but he was a skinny and breakable little thing to see. He still very much had the body of a teenager. Phil had a broader body type, definitely courtesy of the four years he had on Dan. Nowadays it's the opposite, Phil has the awkward teenage body (he actually seems skinnier than he was back in the day, he definitely lost the cute tummy at least) while Dan has grown into his length because his body has matured from teen into adult. Not sure why Phil's body is still the way he was years ago, especially considering all the crap he eats but hey good for Phil. Nature screwed him over on the eyesight front, but his metabolism is banging.
Also genes are a thing, maybe the men in Phil's family are just naturally skinny while the men in Dan's family have a broader/bigger body type?

+1 for the bolded part: Phil was way too amused and Dan was way too embarrassed. SOOO excited for a video a day! And about the more "relaxed" interactions between them. They way they bounce off one another reminds me of the way kittens play together. Pretty adorable.

I'd say that Dan was slightly shorter than Phil back in the day, and definitely had a skinny teenager frame (I was a skinny kid, then a chubby early teen, but then got skinny again in my late teens, and didn't reach my adult height until I was 20 or 21.) Dan has since filled out, especially in the thighs/ hips / pelvis (yet an inexplicably under-resourced ass,) but he looks to have average shoulder width, unlike Phil who has relatively broad shoulders. So you might say Dan is a bit "pear shaped" while Phil is a bit more "triangular," and Phil does look skinnier now for some reason.Catallena wrote:

I was re-watching the deodarant anecdote video today and I noticed at around 1:10 he says "I ran into THE bedroom" ... I don't remember anyone talking about this, but please correct me if someone did....

Oh, uglyamerican, the phrase "an inexplicably under-resourced ass" made me snort, too funny. I wonder if it's just harder to see his butt properly when he wears his jeans low compared to normal trousers. He seems pretty slim all round to me anyway, though not skinny.

Sadly, I wouldn't read that much into it. If Dan had already introduce his bedroom, it would have been perfectly normal for him to say "the bedroom" after that, because it's the only bedroom he's talking about. Now, in the video Dan hasn't yet mentioned the bedroom. I completely agree! Out of curiosity I rewatched pinof4 the other day and the difference was incredible, they only touched like twice maybe (?) and they just didn't seem like they were having fun at all. Dan especially was super angsty, and it was something I barely noticed at the time, it's really only coming back to it now from the perspective of 2016 that it becomes obvious how much more carefree and happy they appear to be. His usual face when Phil does something is "oh you, Phil", where as even before he reached the end of the tweet he was already reacting like "oh my god, did you really bring this up now?". This was during the hight of Dan's anti-phan rants. I remember he had a lifeshow right before filming and after he was super annoyed when people kept asking him about the video. He looked like couldn't be less enthusiastic about the prospect of filming pinof. Fun fact, from pinof 5 onwards they started drawing the whiskers on each other which used to be a high point for speculation in the phandom - was it fan service? Ok so I was also very apprehensive about seeing the words "best fiends" in the title, by was very relieved when the video didn't start out like "Welcome to my winter morning routine. Every morning I start the day playing this great new app..." etc.
I am very happy that they added the quiz. I don't get why apps like this try to get so much Youtuber spon. They are the types of games you play on the train. They are insanely boring to watch people play.
Overall I'd say and 9/10. I'm very happy that the spon was charity, and that ending was wonderful. Gaymas is truly a wonderful thing

Oof yeah, that was a difficult period. I first got into dnp from late 2012 to mid-2014 (then I got super busy and left, before returning earlier this year). It's still hard to believe how amazing things are right now, given how excited we used to get back in the day whenever they'd so much as smile at each other. Catching up on everything that had happened since I'd left was truly wild, I never thought things could be as good for/between them as they've been in 2015/2016. I feel like the last few weeks especially (since the BONCAs maybe?) things have just been especially lovely. It might have been just to do with the fact that Phil not just randomly said it out loud as himself, but put it on Dan's twitter where, as he said, his friends, peers and senpais will see it (and probably won't even question if it was really Dan or someone just joketwitted it from his account). And also fans who read into everything and honey in the bellybutton certainly sounds mildly sexual
..disrupting in the amusing honey discussion to say that Dan at 5:55 was by far my favorite thing in the whole video. He's so excited, tapping Phil and then the little laughing sound he makes before asking the question

I'm not sure what to think about their change and being more comfortable with such jokes. Phil can be naaaasty (in a good way). One part of me ships them, another one thinks something is up here and they're just playing a game with their fans
I am wondering if we will get pinof bloopers tonight or another game as they would be flying to Sweden today. Unless they have prepared some videos in advance I don't think we will get anything from them the next 3 days, but they are full of suprises lately.

I absoultely agree, the difference between them now vs. 4 years ago is astonishing. That's partly what pulled me back into the Phandom, I was just so tired of the policing and Dan's spiels that I just became a causal viewer but lately they have been so... close? Chill? I don't know but it's certainly great and has increased their appeal for me. I'm no longer constantly going 'ugh what is Dan moaning about this time'/"what's the weekly drama". I noticed that too! At around 12.50 you can clearly see Phil pick up Dan's phone and hold his finger to the button to unlock it. I don't think it's THAT weird, I mean i have at least three friends who know my passcode and who can unlock my phone with that, and I have the passcodes of several friends, one has my fingerprint saved on her phone.
