They're more unhinged than ever and every limit I knew no longer seems to exist. A video like this I can pause to catch my breath. But stage shows don't have pause buttons. What the FUCK am I gonna do??

It's not even that we got much new information really, but the way they're unapologetically obsessed both with each other and with their togetherness? Bonkers. Making out on camera would be less gay than whatever that was.

Also, they keep dropping these little very deliberate hints about the tour and it's making me utterly terrified of what I'm going to be exposed to in November.

Phil (after switching clothes): "If you want more of this chaos, come see us on tour!"
Dan: "What the hell is that supposed to mean in the context of this video?"
Phil: "We know what that means."

Will need to re-watch but I feel like in this video they were holding back way more than they usually do. In the previous video they were writing steamy fanfiction about themselves and in this video they kept saying "you can play this as just friends". Like c'mon, lean into it.

I keep trying to figure out my response would have been if somebody told me five years ago that they’d be posting a video called date night with Dan and Phil … that actually even featured a date night game and had them be so couple-y… I think I’d have said that sounds like a bad fanfic.

I actually feel like this time their mention that you could play that with a friend too was very clearly sounding like it was directed at the audience and not much about them.

And Phil absolutely failing at saying a single thing that he didn’t like about Dan…

Edit: also… the amount of talking about their first meeting and how easily they mention that now makes me think 1. That them rewatching PINOF was the best thing to happen to us and 2. It makes me fear for my survival of the tour

I’m afraid this a bit demonic of me but the pet names card immediately made me think of that radio show moment where Phil said “and that was Lion Babe. Did you like it?” and Dan visibly had a heart attack live on air (presumably) because he thought Phil just called him babe. And it just made me think about how far they’ve come. I’m glad they can make some coin from clickbait about date night now (although it wasn’t entirely clickbait because they actually did play a game for couple… which is wild in of itself).

It was cute and fun but I almost perceived some hint of them being uncomfortable and thus a more enhanced performativity? Like they were stepping on egg shells and needed to be careful. Or maybe it was just that the editing was rather fast paced and there was no breathing time to enjoy a joke or giggle about/with them? Hence why it feel they were trying to avoid something - the editing simply was moving too quickly.

Overall though, love that they can share these with us! It definitely tempted me to go and check out tour prices (still too high in my area)

I scared a pigeon outside with the loudness of the cackle this elicited as this was almost word for word what I was thinking when I watched it ah man they crack me up.

I'm sure they had to avoid a million cards so I'm not sure how effective of an ad that was for the game, but it was fun!

Yep, this is how I feel. Like playing a dating game felt somehow too far for them (as opposed to writing romantic phanfiction) so they had the need to try to push it in the opposite direction to even it out.

But I'm seeing split opinions on whether people think they embraced it or tried to avoid the couple aspect of it a bit too much.

So PJ has been talking about a project he's been working on for a while that he wasn't allowed to give any details about, and on his stream he said he and Sophie transported "something big" to "friends in London" on Wednesday. And also those friends booked and paid for PJ and Sophie's hotel after they had a crazy day stuck in traffic.

Sooo I wonder what giant prop PJ made for the show?

The Funko video also had the wrong countdown to the tour in the description, implying it should have been posted today. And notice how neither tweeted/posted about the video on Instagram? They know it's not great but they were contractually obligated to post it within a certain time frame most likely

I assume they're in transit now, and am wondering how regular videos are going to be during the tour! I kind of hope they didn't prepare too many banked videos and just give us some casual yappy chats from hotel rooms/tour buses. This time with no obvious lie about Dan sleeping in a bunk bed

This video was nuts and has me questioning my sanity. Japhan wedding conspiracy up top, ok ok sure. "Phwedding Phing." Phil staring at and commenting on the "cute little anime blush" on Dan in the viewfinder. So many prolonged shoulder touches. Phil naming F1 drivers and Dan being visibly pleased. Phil wears boxer briefs. Phil made Dan pasta when he was sick. "No seriously imagine it." Phil cracked a rib during rehearsals??

And then there was the exchange after the question about how to get over a breakup, which I have no coherent thoughts about. "You missed the memo" EXCUSE MOI??

Good god that video was craziness. It wasn't revealing per se but addressing the Japhan wedding right off the bat was pure insanity and I won't stand for it. Lol

The fact that they're going to be addressing Japhan during the show is making my head feel funny. What do they even have to say about it other than "no you sillies we didn't get married/honeymoon in Japan"?? Saying "no that didn't happen" doesn't make fun stage show content unless there's a story behind it.

At this point the door is all but blasted off its hinges for anyone who's watched a handful of their videos this year, but if you'd told me 5 years ago that there was a chance dnp could actually "hard launch" sometime directly before/during/after a tour, I'd say you were nuts.

And yet here we are, and dnp seem to be actively encouraging speculation? Crazy. They're crazy. They could post a pic of them making out wearing matching rings on Oct 19 at the MCR concert and I would thank them for finally putting us out of our misery

I can’t honestly believe I’m gonna be in Berlin on Sunday - but I’ll arrive too late into the evening to go to the show.

The acknowledgment and teasing of them about October 19th? If I didn’t think they were already so hard launched they were in space, I’d think the tour is just that.

Also I adore them for explaining the city and location thing for the tour again - hope that actually calms some of twt down
