No doubt Dan spent all night and part of the morning catching up on IDB, then registered at 9 AM in a burst of impulsivity, instantly regretted it, and flopped into bed, where he fell into a restless sleep and dreamt about pink trash cans and gifs of Phil's butt.

First post! (Well second because im an idiot and didnt read the rules so jumped right in on the forum )

im a brand new d&P fan, but in the past fortnight i think ive watched about a hundred videos because when i procrastinate i procrastinate HARD. I love the R1 clips

I love avocados, like legit could eat them every day
I prefer Phils hair swept back off his face, i dont know why but i think he looks more northern when he does it(!)

- I'm currently studying an uninspiring Masters, which is a bad mixture with me being quite competitive and perfectionist.
- I plan on backpacking the UK, so if any of you wants to join..

I came across this forum via a random Tumblr link someone posted whilst scrolling endlessly through tags and it felt like I had found my spiritual home. 3 (probs not interesting) facts about me:

- I almost certainly fall in to the category of a middle-aged nose pervert. Not that I would consider myself middle aged. 80s kid. And fell in to the Phan vortex about a year ago having been a casual viewer of many YouTubers for years. I am ashamed to say it all started with having a sick-day and finding myself somehow searching for the voldy vid.

- I have three kids and a husband who is a fair bit older than me. My oldest has her first proper crush on Dan Howell (fml) and I hate it. She is 8. EIGHT!

- I am a proud ginger and secretly wish that Phil would embrace his ginger roots.

I spent 3 hours last night on this forum reading your threads and you are all so funny. I love it. I am not sure how much I will have to add to conversations but I am going to try my best to be a welcome addition to your lovely community.

ohmygod they have goede tijden, slechte tijden in the netherlands!!! (i've never watched it, but i have seen smaller/shorter running soap operas like fashion planet and the dutch remakes of the secret diary of a callgirl or the baker and the beauty) it seems soap operas with neighbors are similar

Hi All, I've been sent this way by my sister and fellow phan (who is a forum member ).

Some "interesting" things about me:

- At TATINOF I felt like the oldest one there who was there by choice.
- My 17month old is as obsessed with Phan as myself and her auntie , one of her first words was Dan (she can't say Phil yet, although we are trying to get her to say Light)
- I was a Whedon addict and have been to many conventions and met most of the casts of Buffy/Angel/Firefly.
- my Fiancé hates Phil and Dan and refers to them as Dick and Dick, but that's Jealousy for ya

Of all the things I'd never thought I'd see being discussed on the forum, GTST was definitely one of them. I never watched it, but had friends at secondary school who would watch it religiously every at 8pm and then talk about it. Dutch television is general is pretty awful, lol.

I am so jealous. Firefly is my favorite TV show ever, and though I don't quite share Phil's infatuation with Buffy I think it's pretty good.

my flatmate (who only knows that i watch "those two british dudes" but nothing more than that) likes to wind me up by calling them "Phil and Dan". somehow that really annoys me when he does that on purpose, in my mind it should always be dan and phil

i know dutch tv is pretty bad that's why i never really watch anything on tv anymore (tho they do have some nicer shows like smeris or penoza and i will admit that some shows on tlc used to be a guilty pleasure )

Hello... I love browsing through here and seeing actual conversations, which I crave in my fandoms, and generally not feeling like an old lady.

- As a teen I always thought I'd be interested in relationships later, since that's what everyone is supposed to do. After turning 30 I learned what words like asexual/aromantic actually meant and the world makes more sense. (Never told this to IRL people, because hinting at it leads to "you never know, you might meet someone..." )
- I'd rather have a dog someday, tbh.
- My pre-D&P fandom was anime/manga. Maybe yaoi.
- I originally typed phandom on the previous line and read it twice before realizing it was wrong, which accurately represents my current state of mind.
- I do not have strong opinions on avocado, except that it is infinitely better in sushi than cucumber, which needs to get out.

My personality is 500% lurker so we'll see how that goes on participation.
