Fratilicious by eevee - idk about you but I was unaware I would be so into Dan and Phil as frat bros until I read this. (so explicit. so very explicit. so very wonderfully explicit.)

Read this fic! Its so adorable and perfect for the spooky feels

Summary:

Phil seriously needs to buy some allergy medicine or something. Or at least open a window next time he performs a demonic ritual. He wouldn't have thought that one little sneeze could've messed up a spell so bad, but now he has a demon on his hands and only six days to get rid of it before he's stuck with it forever.

...And maybe the demon is acting like a total cinnamon roll, but Phil is positive that it's all just an elaborate ruse.

Stickers with Silly Jokes and Puns by kate64100 - just over 7k, not-youtubers au. Dan is in his first year of uni and lonely and calls a help line where people just talk to you when you want someone to talk to, and it's Phil that answers his call.

not your fault that they hover by snsk - outside pov phanfic, but like - the outside pov is Nick Jonas, and that's really all you need to know. Read it, read it now.

It was great, I agree. It also prompted me to search the Dan/Nick tag on AO3, with only a few results. Not sure if disappointed or relieved.

I'm disappointed in the quality of fic so far, ngl. Why didn't you sign up for BB? For shame. :(

I'm with you on that! I did really enjoy When It Rains by wallflowerchronicles (it's an age swap where Phil is younger, and also a meteorologist, and it's pretty sweet )

(I, uh, did start writing one but my WIP is taking over my life atm. I'll definitely post it later on though )

I'd just like to say thank you for writing the art thief fics, the first was amazing and I'm really enjoying the sequel as well. You're an excellent writer and manage to capture the personalities of everyone so well, it really is a pleasure to read.

Oh gosh, thank you - what a lovely thing to say! (the sequel is proving to be a bit of a struggle so your comment came at just the right time :) ) I'm so glad that you like them both

So was I, I just finished it and it's so lovely. It's the first one I've really read and the first with decent writing and characterisation (most have been so far the opposite, I stopped trying).

while our blood's still young by celestialhowell - 1950s au, a nice fic that has a sense of innocence without fully ignoring the issues gay/closeted teens in the 50s endured. I would have probably liked to have seen it go more in depth and some more things fully developed, but for 11k there's a lot of story there.

Though this isn't exactly how I picture the tour and documentary getting planned, this fic is adorable af: https://archiveofourown.org/works/8533330

Aw man, I loved this (it felt like the first chapter of something, to me, I really hope that they continue with it) - a really beautiful fic to wake up with this morning!

If you're in the mood to cry your eyes out over a fic, I suggest reading A Cough You Can't Shake by emptylester
Summary; The tours are finished and wrapped up into two films and a book, but Dan's re-branding might be something unexpected. As the most eventful year of their lives comes to a close, Dan finds himself with an unexpected diagnosis and a best friend he just can't fathom leaving.
I cried reading this a lot. I will warn that this story doesn't end well and that the major charater death tag does give away the inevitable. But it's so beautifully heartbreaking and well written.

I read this last night and had tears running down my face for the whole time, my roommate was terrified. I ended up waking up sad too because the fic literally made me fall apart
I don't know why Dan dying does more for me then Phil dying in a fic?? Maybe because the idea of Phil being sad and losing control and breaking down does more to me then with Dan. Maybe its because with the Amazingphil persona always being happy, he always served as an emotional anchor and happiness to me so its hard for me to imagine him going through such a difficult loss of a loved one :wahh: :sobs: :sobs:
