Why do you guys think about keeping on this narrative of that "one person" being "life saving"? Doesn't, in a way, risk putting pressure on such person?

It is true that that person can save your life by simply believing in you, but it can also be a extraneous job, specially when associated with life-saving narratives. Perhaps having one person could be better associated with giving you "one further step of the ladder you need to climb".

I don't know. I don't particularly like it, regardless of how genuinely represents DnP's story according to them.

I get what you're saying but I don't think the way he's worded it was ever meant to be taken as putting the responsibility for your well being on another person. The narrative he always spins is that one person listening to you and telling you what you feel is valid can be life saving if you've been existing in an environment where you feel you can't express yourself, be it sexuality, mental health issues etc. It's just the realisation that you're not alone and there are things you can do to improve your situation. As he's said, it doesn't even have to be a friend or partner, it could literally be your GP. Just someone you can confide in when you're in that negative space and that validation can be really important in giving you the push you need to seek help.

If he was touting getting others to shoulder the burden of your issues that would indeed be concerning.

i converted 2 friends into the phandom last year and i had a mini pinof marathon with one of them (they're still a baby phan) and i gotta say: watching 10 years worth of videos with them moving together into 3 apartments and sharing a life THE SAME DAY THE PIC WAS POSTED.... was a trip.

i am getting anxiety just from thinking about the new place. and now that i read it here i can't unthink the prospect of a WITL. you know what? let's be hopeful for once. y'all were right about moving hill, and about the 2 apartments AND we never thought they would come out.

Considering Phil has an obsession with becoming a robot do we think Phil's the main character in this sci fi erotica? It would make sense, not least because Phil deffo sees himself as the main character of everything (as do I to be fair, why not lol)

We also have two other auctions happening - they're 'mystery bags' where you don't know what's inside them! The first one comes in a glittery black Japhan backpack, and the second comes in an Interactive Introverts bag. They have a couple merch items each, some art/stickers/other items made by fandom artists, and just some Dan and Phil goodies! (The backpack one may also have something that's more than little cuddly in it.) These auctions also end on the 31st!

But yay, so happy for them. I find it strange that they are the third couple of influencers moving to a new home in London! I also follow LucyMoon on IG and Ling.KT and they are also moving in TODAY/THESE PAST DAYS.
Could it be the same complex? I doubt so, but it's fun to imagine.

I was too young last time I moved houses, so... how long does it take? Days, weeks? before one is settled?

I think it is. Looks like a bed and a black side table?? To me looks like a bed horizontal behind them and pillow resting against the headboard. A tiny bit is showing. If you remember from ‘Week in the life of Dan and Phil’ the headboard is really short. The dark/wooden thing in the back looks a lot like the thing they showed us in the hair cut video. Wondering if it’s the same one or they have a few for storage

You’re totally right! I didn’t see it before but they’re standing right in front of the bed and the pillow is on the mattress. I’m 99% sure the black between them is a blanket.

I quite liked the GQ article, felt like a good mix of promo-y things and a little more Dan Thoughts that we haven't heard 5 times already.

The first couple questions seem quite in line to me with the question I sent in for Dan's pride video thing, so I guess I enjoyed hearing his thoughts about some of that stuff.
