Hey everyone!

Just wanted to take a moment to promo two threads here that I made a while back to reserve a place to discuss the tatinof show and documentary after they’re released on Wednesday:

Basically, I want to make it easier for the people who won’t be able to watch the film+documentary right away seeing as they are not the same as regular free YT videos that can be watched at any time.

Plus I think it’s easier to ignore two whole separate threads designated to the tatinof stuff (until you’re ready to read it) than to read through the main thread and have to skip a post, skip part of a post, etc. due to constant spoilers and in-depth tatinof discussions that would normally be mixed in with everything. This way you won’t have to filter through endless posts in the main thread.

I'm a little concerned about this, now we're gonna have a lot to talk about spread across two separate threads and basically nothing to talk about on the main thread until possibly Phil's ls on sunday, but even that is probably going to be about tatinof and/or the docu. I just don't really feel like this is a great idea thoughts?

Hey eevee, I see your concerns. I spoke to a mod about the threads yesterday to confirm if the mod team was ok with it (they were) so I guess it’s up to them now whether they change their minds and want to keep everything in the main thread?

Personally, it doesn’t affect me where the discussions are because I’ll have access to the films either way. It was just an idea on my part to have separate threads because I thought it would be more considerate/easier for those who won’t have access to them and those who don’t want to filter through/miss out on other main thread discussions (basically the same concept as having separate topics for each tatinof performance). There may not be much to talk about on the main thread for a bit but that’s happened before. I also see your concern about the liveshows and I guess if people want to comment on the potential spoilers deppy may discuss in their liveshow, they can use the spoiler tag for those instances?

Idk, as I said before, my idea of organizing it that way was mainly to make things easier for those who won’t have access to the films at the same time as everyone else. But I also see the points you made. I’m cool with whatever tbh Any mods here want to share their thoughts?

We're going to let it play out naturally at the moment, and let people post where they want to. If the majority of the discussion is here in the main thread, we're unlikely to do anything about it. If things change in some way, and it would be better for discussion to be contained to dedicated threads, we'll look into that.

In any case, we'll be making sure people use spoiler tags.

Putting some yellow on Dan's t-shirt balances out the yellow in the text on the other side. Making Dan's jeans blue balances him with the blue of Phil's shirt. We're used to Dan's branding, so we know that he's supposed to be monochrome, and it looks wrong to us when he isn't, but whoever made that header thought it looked better edited. and guys, everything you are asking about busgate has been discussed and searched for before, i would highly encourage you to use the very useful search function of this forum, it's kind of tiring to go over the same thing over and over again, and this is someone who loves busgate talking

[offtopic]I don't know everything, but I believe I heard that you must put in a credit card because it assumes you're going to pay for month 2. It's a way to make money because a lot of people don't cancel their subscription by time month 2 rolls around. So therefore you need a credit card to prove you're invested in YTR and interesting in possibly buying it (lol). To get around this, in many countries, you can just walk into a drug store and buy a visa/mastercard "gift" card with cash and use that number as a credit card. I've had problems before when trying to use a visa gift card that doesn't have enough money on it though, so make sure this gift card has enough for the YTR subscription.[/offtopic]

[offtopic]No you don't have to pay for the free trial assuming you remember to cancel your subscription before it charges you. I don't know exactly when but when you sign up it will probably tell you how long the trial lasts, and then you can just set a reminder or event on your phone for the second to last day of the trail and cancel it. Also for anyone wondering, dizzy has informed me that youtubers still get paid if the viewer is using a YTR free trial so we don't have to worry about jipping dan and phil!
