I highly doubt it was a nod to something like Dab Janice or Sabrina, since it's an older video and I doubt they are exactly big fans of Deppy.
The fact that it was "Dan and Phil" together also implies she meant quite simply both of them.

Very off topic and since this is from literal months ago someone probably pointed this out before but I have overcome my hatred of the sims series and finishing up watching it but I can't help but notice how in this video:

At 12:56 they comment on how Dil and Tabitha are so synchronised and how married they are and it makes me chuckle at how in sync Deppy can be, feels like they broke through some meta crap

Damn watching the vid at 13:31 Dan looked like he tried to do a "Are you fucking kidding me Phil" face but it turned into some strong Heart Eyes Howell.

Oh wow, that was almost too much fun. They made me burst out laughing a few times while my cat was trying to sleep on my chest, she was a bit freaked out. Phil with power... yikes. Actually freezing people and transforming objects, gotta love The Sims' creators' sense of humour.

Dab was adorable, love the crossed arms and frown when he's hangry and insight into what Phil's like before his coffee and toast/cereal/pancakes in the morning. He looked cute just sitting on the sofa with his plate of eggs and bacon. Dan looks fricking hot, his crinkly eyes and wide smile, that shirt with the wavy hair, tbh just being bigger and broader his arms start to look like tree branches

i've been enjoying their sims videos more lately, despite the presense of a demon child. they seem to be in a good mood.

i enjoyed the sims video, it made me laugh several times and they seemed in a really good mood. a video about phil with superpowers screwing up the entire universe is something i feel i need in my life now. also, apparently "the romance is dead" with dil and tabitha now because they're simultaneously using the bathroom, there's a line to be drawn between double showers and double toilets, and phil is potty level 4 -- i feel like we know too much about deppy's hygiene habits after this video and i would like to unlearn about this. also, if i ever meet dan, i'll take the time to explain plasma balls to him, i can't believe he never wiki'd it after all this time. (but nice throwback to the plasma ball video! )

I really enjoyed that. I've always liked the Sims video, but do think the last few ones have been even better.
Also it is once again clear that Phil should never get too much power. He would not handle that well.

Oh, the potty jokes, the potty song. That was what made me burst with laughter thinking "that's exactly what Dab's doing, Dan, you mean 'fill the bar', honey" I'm surprised there's a potty skill that keeps going, maybe it's just for toddlers like in the previous games, though, seems a bit much for the rest of life.

Thank you dan for not excessively screaming I have a migraine and couldn’t deal if you did. Also at the beginning Dan kept calling Dab “it,” like dude come on Dab’s your child smh. I felt pulled more towards Dan this episode, but Philly stole my heart near the end

I noticed they stopped doing the “stare at the screen to the side to make sure they look good” they did during gamingmas, happy about that. Also I think the size of their reaction cam box went down, I tried comparing it to the last sims video and today looked smaller but not 100% sure.
And did you notice at the beginning Phil (and dan) kept calling the desktop Dan’s and not “ours?” I love it, like literally the only thing they don’t share is the desktop…the DVDs, TV, gaming consoles, mugs, furniture, flat, etc. all “ours,” but when it comes to the desktop it’s Dan’s territory why do I find this funny idk. Although maybe that’s y Dan’s usually controlling the mouse and stuff? We’ve seen phil’s not really familiar with the computer it must be more convenient and efficient for Dan just to do it (and more sensitive on the eyes, phil’s jerky camera control leaves room for improvement). Phil also uses macs and I think that particular Desktop is a pc…does anyone know if he edits videos on his laptop or this desktop or if they have a second one? Why am I overanalyizing Phil’s preferred computer usage??? Yes I’m procrastinating work what’s it to ya ?????????????????

I don't know if Phil's ever used the gaming PC for editing, but it's Dan's desktop for gaming so I'm guessing no, possibly Dan doesn't use it for editing either, but of course we don't actually know (Macs seem useless at games, sound is amazing, but Guild Wars 2 was juddery on my mum's high-end iMac and The Sims 4 took one look at it and crashed, drivers perhaps cos the graphics card should be great). There's an iMac on the right, next to the PC's monitor, in their office and then there's Dan's on the desk in his bedroom. There's a photo of Phil doing taxes on the office iMac and also in the making-of-Tabinof video he's editing his hamster-breeding page on it, so I guess he might just use that.
