That was such a sad thing, obvs glad he’s felt better since now for years. I wonder how his family felt hearing that if they watched it.

As long as we’re quoting our fave parts of their coming out vids, I want to highlight when Phil said, “I think meeting my audience made me realize sometimes sharing personal stuff can help others. So to do that and to feel comfortable myself talking publicly about parts of my life going forward, I decided to make a Youtube video about it.”

Hey everyone, i was just wondering if anyone has met Dan and Phil and have any stories on what they was like etc.. and my favourite quote from Dans coming out video is definately when he mentioned feeling safe when he met Phil.

I met them and I was amazed that Phil’s eyes seemed to be at my eye level while my eyes were at Dan’s chest height. So even though they are close in height and I am 5’6, somehow I experienced their heights completely differently. I remember that eye contact with Phil and thinking it was so familiar from his videos. I feel like I caught Phil off guard by going in for a hug without asking after I was done talking. I regret that I might have scared him. I remember Dan’s bubbly laugh and how it made me feel the same way the first guy I had a crush on’s laugh made me feel. I hadn’t realized until that moment the similarities between Dan and that guy (both gay for one). Dan told me he (or they-I can’t remember which pronoun he used) would look for me during the show.

Just posting this because I’d never seen it before and it happened 6 years ago today. The brief deppy part starts at 7:25. It’s cute when Dan is introduced to Louise’s dad. I wish I could make out what Dan says to Louise.

Phil actually reading out “twink island” surprised me lol. I love the voices he does for all the characters! Loved all the gay mentions too, he seemed in a good mood! I’m glad he uploaded, it lifted my mood!

That was really nice and soothing. I think the best joke for me was when he was considering naming his island "Anxiety" in all caps. Same, Phil, same.

So sweet that after he asked us for island names and everyone started theorising he might be doing it for a video despite ‘doing another sequel’ or whatever he said, everyone was right. Well, not everyone, but a few people and that looks like a lot on my phandom twitter, it’s quite small. This was adorable to see him create the character, who is also very cute, set up his little tent home complete with bag of weeds, meet the islanders and everything. I’ve watched three streams of the start of the game already and someone else got Lyman, but from the back view they thought he was a frog. Good to hear Phil’s thoughts as he plays the game, it’s a while since we’ve had that.

Phil!!! I actually discovered him through his first AC vid back in 2013, so this was so lovely to see; not to mention I’m currently playing it myself so I was just so happy to see this pop up. (And it was so funny! PICKLE sdjdjsjdjdjdj PHIL ) And I loved the voices he did, lol.

The whole video is adorable. I have never played any Animal Crossing but just the style of it looks so pretty. Like a little marzipan world.

If only there was a place for him to do a whole let's play... well a girl can dream.

That video was so nice. A little bittersweet because I do miss the gaming channel a lot, but as someone who has been playing ACNH nonstop since it came out, this was such a treat!

And the humour was on point, as usual. Phil is so funny, and idk I won't ever get over the confidence he has now, and how much he's really seemed to grow into who he wants to be online. I feel like I say this a lot but it's just nice and idk gives me warm fuzzies lol

Really enjoyed the new vid, very comforting and sweet, and Phil's humour was perfect. Just what I needed atm actually. I'd definitely be up for seeing more of Phil's animal crossing adventures.

So my favorite part of the live show today was Phil mentioning that he and Kath used to watch soap operas together after school. Maybe he's told that story before, but this is the first time I've heard it and it made me happy. That really is a nice mother-son activity.

That was such a good live show! I like it more when he gets distracted from his planned topics and goes off on tangents! He mentioned that he had planned to visit his mom for Mother’s Day but the plans got canceled bec of circumstances rn, but he FaceTimed with his parents today. That was sweet!

The liveshow today was cute all around. I like his obvious/transparent interest in providing some happy escapism - he didn't wanna talk about quarantine (though he wasn't ignoring the topic), he wanted to hear and relay nice stories from people.

He gave me 45 minutes of just feeling warm and happy about something, so I think he can consider that mission accomplished.
