2) this is your PSA not to kill, hate, or fear spiders. Spiders are FRIENDS, people. Unstanning Dan and Phil tbh[/offtopic]

This is so cute at 11:30-12-06: Tom can actually see where people are ogling Dan in his videos
"To be fair he does look pretty good in this shot" truer words..
Undertale: So good. Found the guard part a little awkward, they were overdoing the voices and reactions to move it along and it didn't come across very natural. But that's okay because the rest was fantastic. Them cracking up at the voices at the end was great. I really enjoyed Phil's story about freaking out about a spider in the lounge and how they've realized that Phil has trouble reading (quickly?) out loud? Would that really be a recent discovery after years of presenting/teleprompters? Inneresting. Anyway, hearing Dan call him a 'voracious reader' just makes me want him to talk about more books than just Ready Player One.
Overall I was happy with it considering they've been away from it so long. Can't want to see them get their asses kicked in upcoming battles.

I haven't had time to watch undertale yet (I might skip it tbh as I'm not a fan of the game) but wanted to come and just say there is only one show of tatinof left! Can't believe that it's finally over, never to be seen live ever again. It makes me kinda sad but excited for whatever comes next. Does anyone have any specific tatinof memories they wanna share with each other seeing as soon it'll be no more

A bit OT but interesting mention of Dan and Phil in Tomska's vlog and how he noticed the "attention graph" of his video and he shows the peak times in his video where people have jumped to the timestamps of dan, he then calls Dan pretty #danska confirmed lol @11:27
I don't see this as bitterness by the way, he's just making a factual observation
EDIT: I just realized that by directing people to a particular time stamp in the video, I am influencing Tom's audience graph in his video, thus creating a meta-kind of paradox. Whoops. Soz Tom.

Phil in that Undertale video. Phil in general recently. I don't know what's happened to him, but it's like he's taken off some kind of mask and evolved into something new (alolan phil?). Top-quality bants, talking about sex without pretending he doesn't understand it, being really witty. I'm living for this.

The entire crowd screaming "double bubble disco queen"
I went alone, and I don't necessarily stan Brendon Urie (though I have been a fan of panic for a long while) it was more just like....the energy and excitement, and knowing in that moment that I was around so many people that I shared interests with. Even though making my way to the theater bar was like wading through a pool of pre-teens and the girls next to me weren't too interested in talking.
The glow that Dan and Phil have when you see them in person, in 3D, not on a screen.
Going in thinking "I'm not going to scream" and being unable to resist as I got caught up in the show.
Being extremely impressed by the work Dan and Phil put in because it really, really was an amazing show.

I shouldn't laugh at your pain but the deadpan delivery had me screaming in laughter top quality bant right there I didn't see them either so condolence hug for you
From seeing it on Red, I think my fave part besides all of it was Dan's crisis and also seeing them old and whiskered up Made me all emotional thinking about where we all were back in '12 and where we are now in '16 and where we'll be in '32 or '46 or maybe even '60 and how a bunch of random people all across the globe connected and made friendships and in-jokes and kept each other company over two dorks on the internet and how we also keep them company in a way, whether in liveshows or twitter replies or making headers or art, or gifts in m&g's
Sorry, I'm emotional trash right now and I love you all

I just love the excitement. Even though I couldn't go, it was nice seeing so many people being excited about it and meeting them. Sure, we had content drought, but it just made me so happy knowing that they were ot there connecting with people and I couldn't stop smiling whenever I saw a bunch of M&G pictures on my timeline (even if Dan looked the same in all of them lol).

Same. I really enjoyed seeing people being excited. Glad we made the tatinof threads as I love going back and reading people's reviews and seeing their opinions on the show. It's a shame we didn't have IDB during the time of the UK leg just so that we had all the reviews in one place.
I wonder if Deps will be pleased it's over and if they have something new to focus their attention on in 2017. I can imagine that tatinof being over will leave a massive gap in their lives, it pretty much consumed the whole of 2016.

I didn't enjoy this as much as I enjoyed the previous parts of the undertale series. It was less relaxing and has less of the "bedtime story" feel I loved about the previous episodes, which was somewhat out of their control as the story gets more stressful towards the end, but I also felt like they were rushing to get through it, with Dan skipping through the text before he'd finished reading it, and both of them talking more quickly than they have previously for undertale. I went into it unspoiled and felt left out in places because of that.
Someone asked whether they'll do more story based games now, and I think they probably won't. I don't think they've enjoyed the pressure and expectation of playing a long story based game so I don't think they'd choose to play an even longer one.
On the guards thing, I wish they'd been able to go into that unspoiled because I would have liked to see how they reacted organically. However, I don't find that storyline, other than it being m/m, in any way reminiscent of Dan and Phil. Maybe I'm missing something and I need to re-watch, but I don't see anything there to suggest that the guards are a closeted couple. They're two friends who have romantic feelings for each other, but those feelings are secret from each other, not secret from the rest of the world. They're not hiding a relationship. I don't remember anything in the game which suggests that heteronomativity or homophobia are issues in the underworld. The characters could have been of opposite or ambiguous genders and I would have understood the story in the same way. It's friends discovering mutual attraction, not hiding a secret relationship to protect their privacy and/or avoid discrimination/fetishisation/stereotyping. The guards' storyline is somewhat similar to some post-2010 or AU friends-to-romance phanfiction, but in no way similar to how I imagine Dan and Phil's actual relationship (assuming, for the sake of this paragraph, that they have one). I wonder if they would have made any connection between that relationship and their own, if they had been allowed to play the game unspoiled.
By contrast, can we talk about Dan=Metaton, and then Phil immediately saying that he would go to prom with, and slow-dance with, Metaton? And then he looks over at Dan at 31:42?

Oh boy, where to start. Seeing the original non-scripted "dil-doll" moment. Seeing Dan so badly want to eat cake in Berlin. Dan's jeans tearing in Leeds. Phil adorably screwing up his magic tricks in a show somewhere (maybe Brighton matinee?). Having both my ISG and WK used in NYC. The time I saw the show and Dan wandered out the box in lion legs to surprise Phil and Phil still said llama lolol. And more so, sweet mems with my girls from here including chewing missemma on the arm every single time Phil tells us not to in the pre-show announcement. Dancing to Smashmouth through all the glitter in London, trying to steal blocks from the stage and then strutting out of the backstage door alongside Sprinkleofglitter. Going to the Boston show with mazza1506 and her losing her handbag for a good 20 minutes of the show lol. The flans being included in the crafts in Sheffield. Clinging to somelikeitpink with a death grip at our last TIIH tatinof performance in Berlin because I was so emosh.
Not to be mushy or anything, but this tour has legit been the most fun I've ever had so sad it's over but so grateful for the opportunities I've had to see the show and travel too. Also, my two wonderful bosses who accepted my requests for annual leave, always at very short notice lol ahem.
Le sigh. I've loved it.

I loved that video, one of my absolute favourite things of theirs is when they do voices, and that was a whirlwind full of them. They changed between them really well and Phil sounds so sweet as Alphys. Also little comments on things, I don't really remember any now, they were just funny. And the scary voice and negative blue glow every time they mentioned Asgore. Good foreshadowing, guys
One more show of Tatinof to go, I wonder how they're feeling tonight. I loved just seeing what they'd come up with, and seeing them perform live in front of so many people. Having over a thousand people together in a theatre all singing their playlist and then cheering especially when Phil first stepped up to sing, for the fan fiction options, and for the finale song and dance. The interactions of things people had submitted for the crafts, weird kid and ISG, and the times they actually asked people's names in the audience, that really gave it a cosy community feeling.

After reading Humans memories I decided I should put some of mine down:
> having the opportunity to travel the UK, America, Ireland and Germany with some friends that I have made because of deps.
> having had three different crafts used at different shows and one of them being shown again in Berlin by mistake.
> luckily meeting deps in New York in the street.
> seeing phil do the bowling ball magic trick for the first time and being amazed at how he managed to do it. I finally saw where he holds the ball in Berlin and I feel complete now I know
> getting to meet a few ibders along the way, it was fun.
> starting the CHUG CHUG CHUG chant with Human in Berlin and then the cake cake cake one later on.
> somehow managing to end up front row in the middle whilst so drunk at the last night of uk tatinof then trying to walk out with one of the yellow boxes because I wanted i momento from the show, getting caught by one of the crew and ending up at the VIP exit and walking out to about 200 people watching us. lolzor.
> seeing tiis for the first time and feeling super emotional that they could pull something like this off
> singing and dancing to the black parade before tatinof New York, and someone coming over to us at the end to tell us how much they loved our dancing (jeez it was so bad).
And last but by no means least #busgate

I am so new to all things D&P that I don't think I even knew they existed when tatinof was in Canada. And if I'm being honest, I would've been way too self-conscious to go anyway.
But I did enjoy seeing the show (and the doc) on youtube when it was available. This is so dumb and sappy but my husband was the one who introduced me to Dan and Phil in the first place, and I really like having something that he and I can geek out over together because we mostly have very separate interests. So the day the show was released online, we made a date night of it, ate too much popcorn and candy, and were basically trash together. I was really impressed by how much work had obviously gone into the whole production, and very happy for the guys that they got to tour around and ~try new things~ in front of so many big, excited audiences. I like seeing good things come to people that I appreciate.

TATINOF memories? Oh boy. Can I say all of them? On a personal level, I really enjoyed going to the Boston show, seeing the Salsa/Chips fanfic played out IRL, seeing D&P in person and being surrounded by people (however young they were) that loved these 2 YouTubers just as much as I do. I loved following them on their tour via IDB (and even GG), no matter how much of a drought they left us with and tracking down stupid shit like their... Nashville hotel. #Busgate was genuinely a good time and the wonderful collection of pictures we got from it in DAPGO will live on. It made them so much more real to all of us and honestly? Their persistence, dedication, and enthusiasm about and during this tour made me love them infinitely more. As much as I'm tired of hearing about it, I'm going to miss TATINOF. What a good time. :')
On a side note, I got the knit sweater in the mail today and can confirm: quality (and yes, thick). I love it! It's honestly totally cheesy and totally worth it. (And unfortunately not reversible.) Also comes with a hilarious tag of Dan and Phil faces with santa hats and reindeer antlers.
