I can kind of understand why they wouldn't want to do this. It somehow doesn't seem very 'Dan and Phil' to auction something off to the highest bidder, which is ultimately going to be whoever has the most money, even if it was for charity. I think donating to a charity shop is a nice compromise and if a fan finds it, it's a lovely surprise. The flesh toned pjs would have been a great giveaway prize though, definitely a waste to throw those out!

Ok I am posting this just to confirm I am not going crazy, but didn't the way Dan said in the starting of the second story "Let's be honest" he sounded like fetus Dan?!!!
Like the moment I heard it, this came into my head. I was recently watching the old videos and radio shows, so might be the reason, but yk still!

As much as I enjoyed Phil's haircutting video, it would've hade a lot more sense for Dan to do his in the first place instead of just having to fix it later, and it would've made a great sequel to Dan curls my hair. rip joint haircutting video, the time just wasn't right

Phil did a totally... ok job on Dan's. Like it's not a mess, looks totally fine, the fade of side lengths isn't very smooth and you can kinda see the line between lengths, but it won't be visible for very long.

Every time Dan is suddenly active, posts a random video about some random small thing out of the blue I'm like now I'm going to be on edge all week, thanks Dan. But he really has worked himself into this hole where because he usually only posts when something is going on/coming up he can't really post casual random things if he wanted to without everyone going full detective ready mode.

See, I think the haircut video was absolutely perfect. It was the best example of Phil committing to a bit to entertain us and I still remember how flabbergasted I was after I watched it. I would have still liked it if it was a joint video but Phil was embracing chaos at the time so I have no complaints. It wouldn’t have worked too well with Dan off camera either.

Yeah I agree! I mourn more the loss of what could have been if it took place at a different time (say 2018 or now, potentially), but it is still good and I love it as it is. Absolute chaos as it deserves to be.

I'm wondering if, since we just hit 100 days until Dan's book is released, Dan is going to slowly start ramping up his social media presence again so when he comes back with a ton of promo, it doesn't seem completely out of place.

Dan’s new Instagram story is killing me If he’s going to be this active from now until May then I am totally here for it; this is more content than we got in all of 2020.
