danisnotonfire can't be Dan because they registered at 8:00 A.M. in 's time zone. Deppy wouldn't have been up all night since they were out and about during the day and had a show at night. They would have been tired and probably went to sleep early.

PhilTrashNumber1 could be Dan though. They registered at 12:00 A.M. and haven't made any posts.

They did already change their settings so their last login is private which means they really looked through the settings or they're already familiar with how this forum works. Meaning they're probably one of us.

::sigh:: If Phil were this guy at work or on my freshman year hall or my friendly neighbor offering to water my plants when I'm away... boy. I echo the sentiments of the legions of others who would totally marry him. Personality-wise, he reminds me a lot of my first boyfriend and physically, of my last so...that's established. But there's more to it than that, I think, that makes him so appealing. I'll get to it in a moment.

It's too far back to quote now but I gotta admit my gut feeling is that there's a bit of what cora said about dark and twisted Phil going on. Sunshine angel bean smol is a choice if that makes any sense. I like that quote about without darkness there can be no light. That. Yes. And that, in itself, is part of the appeal.

Don't knock lil Daniel the spaniel (glad to see I'm not the only one who calls him that, I do it in my head all the time sorry lurkerdan...but you know it suits you) too much. For one, he is young. A man who finds success that he is comfortable with (and, if you're tweeting 'life is meaningless' even jokingly, you're still on a journey in this area) is key. Fully embracing who you are and being satisfied with what you have right now, whether it's barely enough to go a week or multi-millions, makes all the difference. For me, that's the other main part of Phil's appeal. He accepts his weirdness and makes the most of it and, for the most part, seems very comfortable in his own skin and satisfied with what he has. But I think eventually Dan will make peace with where he stands, take it all in stride, and perhaps even surpass Phil in the "husband material" (as much as I dislike that concept...call me mushy but everyone deserves love) category. As far as I can tell he has a kind heart and wants to find that peace so he has that working very much in his favor. And I like to think that Phil helps him in this area


Meanwhile, the sudden shift on here from "I'd marry Phil! Me too! Me too!" to omg did that fic (oqua, my belated it made my mom ask me why I found work so hilarious first thing in the morning yesterday) come true ? Classic idb never change guys.

Jokes aside though, Phil is someone I would look for in a partner. He seems dependable, caring, loving, and respectful. He's very family oriented. Not to mention that i love his less sunshiney side

Also second off starlight-still yes someone on the Daniel the spaniel team. I find myself referring to him as Daniel the spaniel rather than just Dan a lot. Really embarrassing, I know.

I'm also low (high) key I stopped lurking on GG and finally joined IDB, now I need to get enough guts to post some long ass opinions about D & P.

I feel like Phil is just that cute innocent neighbor that you think nothing of. But one day you peak into his house and you find some kind of crazy sex dungeon and not the vanilla and sugar you thought he was. You know I wouldn't be surprised if Phil had some kind of 'dark, twisted' thing going on. I mean for all we know AmazingPhil is just some persona, perhaps an escapism.

As starlight-still stated Dan is still very young and successful. I think thats why everyone here was on the whole 'lets marry phil' bandwagon. Phil does have that appeal of accepting who you are and being weird, Phil is just very comfortable with the way he is. I think Dan just needs time to sort things out. After all, he is just 24 years old and he has tons of time to just explore and figure out stuff. He will get to the place where Phil is, comfortable with themselves.
Although, I think Phil is very multi-layered. I'm fascinated with the fact that he is. The whole AmazingPhil innocent cinnamon roll yet there's something kinda dark and twisted about Phil. (More like a sin-namon roll.) Yet, us viewers when we watch his channel feel a very comforting vibe from his videos. Give Dan some time, I'm sure he will get there. To me Phil is kinda person Dan wants to be but just isn't quite there yet.

Personally, I do have a Dan pref mostly because I relate to him a bit more than Phil. I'm just some young person in university that literally doesn't know what I'm doing. I want to be someone that is more like Phil comfortable with themselves and accepting who they are in general.

Why I was on the marriage for Phil bandwagon? I just love how he just embraces who he is, accepting he's weird and such, good role to have in a partner. Plus, I'd love to get to know the less sunshine Phil.

if you don't know who he is dan's liked one of his tweets once and i think he's mentioned him a couple of times in radio shows but yeah..... they're just so alike and they're meant to be and i can see them together

also on the topic of marrying either of them... because i'm a lesbian and i completely don't identify with the feel of Immense Attraction to them altho dan is adorable and i'd love to squish his cheeks and phil is gorgeous, i'd rather just them be married together but given the chance, i would prefer to marry phil, i wouldn't want children at all but he'd be a real cool husband y'know. dan can be our house pet... we'll dress him in a dog fursuit (which he'd probably be aroused by) and have him on a leash not in a kinky way (which he'd also be aroused by)

i think it's fairly common to not know how tall u actually are - i was measured recently for a medical thing and i'm just under six foot, but i regularly hear ppl shorter than me saying they're 6"1 or 6"2? and not in a posturing way, they genuinely believe it

and ofc it all gets even more complicated when u consider shoes and whether u measure height in shoes or out of shoes and how tall the shoes are and all that jazz (tho i don't rlly buy this theory about dan having thick soled shoes - his ever-present all saints zip ups ( ) don't rlly seem that much chunkier than phil's high tops

I agree each and every word of you. I like them because excessive my maternal love i don't wanna marry them, especially Dan, he is just a boy in my eyes. Phil is more grown up than Dan but still too boyish for my taste.

The content drought is insufferable i would be happy even they through us another Dragon shitty spon or isg oh god I'm such a desperate lab rat squeak squeak.
