Could the necklace (as someone else mentioned) just be a gift someone gave at the meet and greet? He did put the dog ears on, so why not the necklace? And it would be a hassle to take the necklace off when there are so many people waiting, so he could have just popped it in his shirt?

Off current topic but this afternoon I was thinking the reason why Deppy got a TATINOF LTD is because they need to have a company to have people invest in their tour but later in the broadcast the host said deppy actually spon the tour themselves I mean wow, they've got a deep pocket.

As for the meaning of the necklace, we will never know. It could be from his mom, a fan, Dan.... Or he could have bought it himself, we'll just never know unless he tells us.

If they have no other sponsors (like the book publishing company) and are paying for it all by themselves then yes that is impressive. Although I do remember that one article mentioning that Dan is worth somewhere around 2 million, so I guess if that is close to the truth that they can afford it.
