My thoughts exactly.bedhead91 wrote:I'm actually quite happy with the idea of Dan rebranding. He's almost 25, he doesn't deserve to be stuck with a username that he created when he was a teenager for the rest of his YouTube career. I don't think that changing his username will affect his content that much, at least not right away. I take it as a sign that he's thinking about the future and the longevity of his channel. If he's still making videos in 5 years, I don't think he wants to be a 30-year-old associated with the name ''danisnotonfire.''
I guess I'm not too nostalgic about the DINOF username, because I associate it with the massively insecure kid who created it and I much prefer the present-day, happier, adult Dan Howell who seems a lot more comfortable with himself and his audience.
It's the type/classification of business. IRL is the merch stuff, it's a mail order company, probably with other companies under that banner (One each for the people whose merch they sell probably) on an unrelated note, Sears catalogue (amongst others!) did use to sell kit houses through the mail.Anonymousse wrote:I have heard of mail order brides, but mail order houses?adequack wrote:![]()

I'm happy for the rebranding as well, if he's trying to do this (presenting, etc) long term, it's a good move. My little phan shipper heart on the other hand is scared of change and resistant to optimism, lolbedhead91 wrote:I'm actually quite happy with the idea of Dan rebranding. Just a business term to describe a mail order business.Anonymousse wrote:I have heard of mail order brides, but mail order houses?adequack wrote:![]()

Do you have any video links from back then? I don't remember seeing that woman as part of their management.l8er_sk8er wrote: I think she might be their manager in 2014. She was with them during Vidcon.
Or just random redhaired lady networking.
rebranding seems like the smartest move after the tour because it will be the perfect time for something like that. I really hope that these little changes we see will lead to some phan related things and not a #phandivorce, but I feel like this is Dan trying to be more open with us about the real him and not just his online persona that seems to be slowly left behind (in a good way)bedhead91 wrote:I'm actually quite happy with the idea of Dan rebranding. My ratio is about 90% , (yes, I joke, but it's fun to trivialise the big stuff!) the rest is a pretty even split between my employer and various transport agencies. (I do feel guilty as all hell for grumping about a delayed flight today, but... I am clearly just the worst kind of person.)hunnyftw wrote:You guys I feel you, I feel you all so much.
I swear at this point Deppy and their bullshit upload-promises are at least 80% responsible for all my deep trust issues.
I woke up at 12 pm (please don't judge me) & it's half past 9 now and I've yet to start studying for a final I'm taking tomorrow morning because I keep waiting for Undertale to drop. They're responsible for my upcoming academic failure, clearly.IckleMissMayhem wrote:My ratio is about 90% , the rest is a pretty even split between my employer and various transport agencies. Still, it gives me more chance of being able to watch Undertale. Maybe.
Same here! I've been procrastinating studing for my tests tomorrow since I came home because I'm so twitchy about undertale dropping. Well, I mean, how am I supposed to concentrate on chemistry when there is the promise of undertale.phamnotof wrote:I woke up at 12 pm (please don't judge me) & it's half past 9 now and I've yet to start studying for a final I'm taking tomorrow morning because I keep waiting for Undertale to drop. On the companies house website (which is where all the companies have to file their accounts) it says:Anonymousse wrote:I have heard of mail order brides, but mail order houses?adequack wrote:![]()

Tbh, it looks like a group of people just chatting. It could just be a random person standing next to him, or even a friend he took if they do know each other.
I love the photos of Dan from the lovie awards! I had one as my screensaver for ages.
