Dan & Phil part 25: 15% depth, 75% bants
He felt distracted and weird today to me, but that's fine. Dan vs Phil probably coming tomorrow though, so even though they suck at it, the competitive element will hopefully make it entertaining anyway. His header is indeed just getting replaced by YTRed promo next week, fair enough. I thought it was funny that he claimed he had a day where he just felt like deleting everything. No further comment there. I don't know about that pewdiepie/yes moment; is he aware? does he care? Who knows.

Of course my Internet was too bad and I couldn't watch the ls from the beginning But it did work on tumblr, so I will just always watch it on there. I enjoyed the show, my thoughts:

I really enjoyed the liveshow. He was so weird and energetic but also so sweet to everyone on chat
First off he looked so cute today in his grey shirt and messy hair. His eyes were extra green/blue
The pewdiepie mention did go over his head even though he paused and just said "yes".( I don't find the comments offensive towards phan because it is why most of us are in the phandom so it was a roast to us more then them).
The trailers are coming out Wednesday and I am hyped. They said they put tons of effort into each one so I'm really excited to see how they turned out. Also Phil describing all the string of emails they sent to ensure the trailer was perfect makes me think this is what Dan is so stressed about. Phil seems to be more excited and proud of everything he creates while Dan is nervous and scared of the perception. Maybe why Phil is so chill and growing shrimp babies while Dan is acting nervous AF
He said he wants to do the Hufflepuff Quiz but doesn't want three video in a row of just the laptop. Then he quickly defended that there was nothing wrong with that but that he also wants to make "good" videos Phil you do have a side channel that has been barren for like 6 months, it doesn't all have to be domestic phan videos
He kept mentioning friends from various places which made me go full . The friend from ebay that sent him candles, the "greek friend", the friend with the bigger house. Now I'm trying to piece together who these are.
He alluded to festive baking video for he third time. Here' to hoping they do some more Christmas baking and its as flirty and innuendo filled as the original
The final cover of TATINOF is so ugly its a bit endearing.
Theres prob more but I was at a friends house and was getting hard key judged for running from the breakfast table to catch the liveshow. Taking out a pencil and paper would be overkill

overall an uneventful liveshow. 
Some thoughts anyway:
-Phil is taking the Shrimp thing a little far. He did enough research and observation to realize Alberta is a female. He got more triops in order to try to get a male shrimp to breed with Alberta. I just feel like this is taking it really far hahaha he seems really bored but I know he's not since they're so busy
-Phil says they didn't do research about Undertale before starting the series but I'm calling bs because they knew enough not to kill any of the monsters, not even one...and imo the game doesn't make that very clear
-I'm excited for spooky week!! Not excited for two slither.io videos in a row.....
-He said Pokemon sent him the shirt and he didn't know they knew he existed......well they sent Dan the 3DS capture technology?? So they at least knew who Dan was......and the joint channel.....
-Phil knew some weird lake or river fact.....dude their kid is gonna know so many random weird facts

Maybe he wants to be a dad or really wants a pet. I think they mentioned that they weren't allowed to get a dog in their house (besides they didn't have enough time for one lately) and he really seems to like dogs. Alberta is the closest he can get to a dog/child. Just a theory thougheevee wrote:

Found this liveshow a bit "meh" but I'm excited for the trailers! I hope they do a joint liveshow to discuss the films either before or after they're released. I'm happy that Undertale week will be separate from spooky week as well.
Phil also said he thinks they have about 4-5 videos left of Undertale...if they didn't spoil it for themselves how would he know something like that? i think Dan mentioned something about watching jacksepticeyes playthrough in a ls when they were starting it? or at least the first episode of his playthrough, maybe they got info from him, he mentions it in the first episode i think about the pacifist route. jack did 10 episodes, each around the 1hr mark excluding the last one which i think was near 2hrs. I've actually been loving Felix's content recently. Not sure what that says about me lol, but he's honest as fuck and pretty clever and I find his sense of humour funny AF.
A phan relationship mention is nothing new for him. So riddle me unsurprised and largely unbothered by this one.
The only thing I would point out is that he's friends with deppy, mostly through peej. They low-key seem to be closer than they were even a year ago - Dan's story about repeatedly unfollowing Felix after verification-gate and not making a joke of it publicly gave me the impression they're probably better friends than we realise. Maybe the opposite of the Louise situation lol.
Anyway my point is they're mates and I very much doubt Felix would do anything they'd be unhappy with. More pointedly: he's playing on 'nobody knows' when he will in fact almost certainly know, which is quite ironic. My own theory is he knows they're together, and knows their approach is quickly becoming 'leave it ambiguous' rather than confirm/deny and he's playing into that with them.

Cute but nothing groundbreaking. I just like that he seems to be enjoying them again because pre-tour it was paaaaainfully obvious he was bored as sin throughout. Its almost as if being presented with so many fans in person right in front of his face has reminded him there are actually other people who care deeply about him on the other side of the screen and its made it more enjoyable/important for him. Whatever the reason:
VERY happy we're getting spooky week as well as Undertale marathon. I didn't think they'd replace spooky week but having it confirmed is good. I have a very soft spot for spooky week - I still distinctly remember last spooky week being the beginning of this past year of them being more physically close on camera and looking at each other more. I remember back on GG where we were speculating whether Dan might end up on Phil's lap by the end of the week because they were just getting closer and closer as the days passed
May this spooky week bring in a new phase of being even closer
