The whole tomorrow will be "post tatinof era" makes me really excited I want change. I hope it's good change. I don't think it's anything phan related, disclaimer, but I really hope for a change in style, the colour edited picture suddenly awakened the beast inside of me that wants Phil to wear colorful chinos and Dan to compromise the "black aesthetic" style. I want these small baby steps towards them changing from the fringe to something that doesn't look like a lego hair piece, pleassssseeeee

I don't usually post here, but I'm very excited about the movies. Too bad the documentary is gonna be so short
But IDK if I wanna spend my money on something like this. I prefer buying merch. So since YT red is not available in my country and trying to cheat the system has proven to be a bit too difficult I hope some of you lovely people will make it available to us.
is the drugdeal still a thing? Cos I'm probably not enough to figure out the flower part so if the movies are available there, I'll be screwed

Sorry for being slightly too late for the talk about dan's liveshow but there was one bit which made me really confused. At 47:00 he talks about the PINOF at the age of 80 and at the end he looks into the camera and then laughs devilishly. And I was like why? What did he meant by that? Maybe I'm just a little bit stupid. Any theories?

Tatinof spoiler
It is an inside joke with those who have seen tatinof - there is a scene with old!deppy, who sit in folding chairs and put cat whiskers on each other.

That makes sense, thank you. I haven't seen TATINOF, could have guessed it.

Someone mentioned there were a lot of these kind of inside jokes in yesterday's ls (damn it was a good one), I'm not kinda sure if I want to know all of them now or just wait for 6 hours to see it myself i'm probs gonna hate dan the man even more then oh god like he's actually doing this i dont know what to say im just gonna bang my head on a desk

Dan's ls - I loved it. Here are the little things I thought were interesting among the tons of other ones tatinof related:
26:12 - he wants Kanye to perform at his funeral. Interesting. Also something I'd expect him to say;
28:10ish - thinks of himself as 'an intellectual with eclectic taste who wants to be cool,' yeah, I mean, who would've guessed;
42:58 - loves Felix 'so much, he's one of my favorite youtubers at the moment, you know, he's like the anti-youtuber' (I actually have a feeling Dan wants people to view him as a anti-youtuber as well?)
I enjoyed the music talk, will definitely check everything he mentioned out. I literally can't take my eyes off him when he's being passionate about something, how maybe silly of me. He messed with his hair a lot kinda aggressively, which I read as a sign of him being pretty nervous about all the stuff coming. That's fine, who wouldn't be nervous. Everything's gonna be okay.
The promotion videos, or how do you call them, especially the last one, the 7sc one, made me a little upset though. I mean... not only did these youtube people stretch boys the heck out, they also did that weird ass color correction.. Insane. I know I'd watch guys even if they were recorded with a potato, but still - what the actual hell, ytr? The number of dislikes it got also didn't make me feel better, I hope it had to do with the video quality, and not with the content. I know we're all people and we all make mistakes, and I expect the ytr stuff to learn from their mistakes (with dap being guinea pigs), 'cause what we've seen so far is pretty horrible
Anyway, I'm super excited for the movies (the day has come! it's been the longest week in my life), and I know I'll find myself here frantically reading all the spoilers before actually watching the movies, because I'm that weirdo that enjoys spoilers and other people's opinions on things.

Quick thought on the liveshow (which was funny and I enjoyed a lot) -
Dan confirming not going out for two weeks and also talking about all the stuff they've watched lately (BSG, Xfactor, food wars, bake off) had me wondering once again how their lives actually look like.
I'm so confused because on one hand I feel like their lives MUST be pretty busy with all the big projects going on, they must have meetings with management/yt/etc, make decisions, phone calls, write emails all the time - and that is plus the regular social media and yt channel maintainance.
On the other hand they keep up their lazy, procrastinating appearance and still manage to finish more shows then me when I have not much to do at all.
Still pretty convined that you can't make it in any entertainment industry without putting a lot of time and effort into it, so how do they mangage to do all these things and have so much free time? Maybe the lack of social lives is actually more significiant than I thought

Yeah, I don't actually think the lack of social life is an exaggeration. They might hang out with friends Bryony and Wirrow a couple times a month but I'm pretty sure the rest of the time they step foot outside it's just the two of them, or else they're doing something business related.
They probably had plenty of time post-Australia tour because... well, everything was kind of done. The tour/doc have surely been edited and sitting on go for a while, they don't leave those last minute. DAPGO is surely done or at least out of their hands now. Dan confirmed they don't have any more 'big projects' in the works. I can see how the weeks in between things being done, and them being able to talk openly about the things would have left them with plenty of time for tv watching.

Drunk!Dan (?!) + liveshows are the best.
-I really wish Crunchyroll offers to sponsor Deppy's Japan trip again (hopefully first week of Dec). I don't care if they need to do 2 spon videos just for that. I want Japhan. i want them to meet the voice actors of Food Wars. That'll be awkward but fun. Weebo.
-Dan, stop hating on Alberta. She's a shrimp. She will not steal Phil from you. I guess this is why Phil can't have a dog. Jk.
-I agree that if something becomes too emotional burn it to the ground. Let everyone suffer with you.
-Dan can be anti-youtuber but he's too adorable compared to Pewds
-i love his stand about Harambe. Where really is the line??
-the number of Phil mentions...why would you need Phil to crash Dan's ls if he's all Dan talks about? Haha
- #DanNeedsStorage #DanAndPhilMoveOutTogether
They'll have more storage room if they are not sentimental, hoarder and nerd.
Who's excited for the documentary? Me.

I'm nervcited - I'm thankful Dan gave me the ultimate word to describe it. I really hope my Internet will work, otherwise I'll cry myself to sleep. I actually left the flat and went grocery shopping so I can have chocolate and beer while watching. I have nothing to do this evening. Needless to say, I am prepared.
I just hope everything's actually as good as we expect it to be (or even better). Especially since I just experienced the first disappointment because the documentary is shorter than I expected If they put too many hysterical excited fans (nothing wrong with fans, but I don't want to pay money to see them) in the documentary and all the domestic moments were already in the trailer, I'll be so disappointed! All I'm trying to do with this is to lower my expectations.
I'll rewatch Dan's ls now because I missed parts of it and I always do that anyway. Hopefully that will keep my mind busy. I like that I'm not the only one who thought that he seemed a bit tipsy.
ABOUT 3 HOURS UNTIL IT COMES OUT

I think that was because YouTube subscribed people to the YTR Originals channel so people who have no interest in Dan and Phil suddenly have this badly-lit video pop up on their feed. A few of the comments amongst the phandom freaking out are not of the friendly kind. Apart from alien-Phil with edited eyes in the thumbnail, the blusher they put on him is way too strong, as if it's the same shade as on Dan
It's amazing how long all these hours of waiting can feel. I finally got myself outside to get some photos done (and buy some doughnuts) cos so much time to kill. [/adult] Tried connecting laptop to TV too, but turns out the cable is some weird thing that is neither VGA or HDMI.
Nervcited is more right than maybe he realises, excitement and nervousness give us very similar, if not totally the same, physical feelings.

Late to the party, but I adored Dan's ls. Fave part was definitely #fuckyou Only rolled my eyes slightly at the pretentious music chat. Also, what is so difficult about the pronunciation of Bon Iver? Answer: rien.
I would like to just voice my slight disbelief in the utter amount of screen time the two of them seemingly incur. Between all of the tv, movies, internet, and video games (and deodorant sprays and corneal slicing), those poor eyes must need a rest!
Excited for this evening!!!

Liked some of Dan's ls but halfway through it got a bit meh, tho I might have to watch BG now that they've both said is great and life ruining.
Love how he seemed kinda calm but I could still somehow feel the nervousness, I like when they talk about the time and effort they put into this.
As much as I hated the lack of content during the US tour I can't deny that they have worked a lot on it and it will be great to watch it all in glorious hd.
All the stars alligned today and I didn't have to go to work but my god I wish I could speed up time, the wait is killing me.

so nice to finally reap the benefits of dealing with months of mostly silence while they toured, this day felt like it would take forever to reach and now it's finally here
2 hours to go!!

i loved the liveshow! i was like half awake last night, so i just rewatched it and idek know what it was about it but i thought it was great tbh.
just some random liveshow thoughts under the thing
- what was that weird egg/child talk in the beginning? okay dan lmao
- phil playing the part from the tatinof promo things when dan says ''photo shoot'' over and over and that it was ''hello internet'' all over again
- all the battlestar galactica excitement is making me really want to watch it. it's one of those shows i've been planning on watching for years but i never got to it, but i bought the box set earlier bc it was on sale so now i'm excited
- #playthepiano #fuck off
- omg, kind of sad they couldn't go to japan again, it sounded really cool
- his explanation of the peace signs, same tbh. i would love he changed his icon though
- 'woah, did i just assume an owls gender right there?'
- lmao, starting off with mentioning that he hates alberta the shrimp, ending with talk about not assuming sexuality and gender and and labelling on your own terms
- the x factor, honey g and game of thrones. i'm amazed at how his brain works sometimes
- loved the mentions of going clear and then louis theroux
i can't believe it's almost time for tatinof and the doc oh my god

no regrets
also can't wait to come back and talk to you guys about it afterwards, and hearing what you guys think. i've been excited all day!! (another reason why i love you guys) (the other reason is because you are all incredibly intellectual and brilliant. you all make my day )

The variety article says the doc is 61 mins, that's a pretty standard length for a documentary I'd think? Most of the ones I watch on Netflix are about that length.
I can't watch it til much later this evening, is it possible anyone in the U.K. could let me know if it's definitely possible to buy it on a pre pay visa and how much it costs please and how easy it is to buy etc?

lmao, well I'll be avoiding IDB and social media, so the news won't have a way to reach me!
by the way, I'm kinda surprised no one (incuding Dan) used Tyler Oakley's word "snervous."
