I took a second look and now I'm thinking it's "lacking friends to". His spelling may or may not be questionable with that 'i' placement, but if he meant to write 'friend' it becomes consistent with other areas of the page we've decoded. The first word, I think that's an 'ack' in there?
I think the big question is that last word or couple of words!

What is it with shipping Undyne and Alphys? I think I've seen spoilers on tumblr about them being endgame but how do DnP know? Was there any hint of that pairing in their playthrough? If so I must have missed it... I noticed that in the cooking with undyne ep Dan made some kind of comment about this already and I've been wondering since.

I've often wondered about that too. It's probably been discussed before but his grandparents seem to be a bigger part of his life than his parents. His grandma calls him often and watches his videos, where as his mum seemed surprised that he called her in the bat prank video. Someone on twitter had a comparison video on his behavior with his mum vs with Phil's mum and he seemed more relaxed on the phone with Kath than with his own. Plus he did go to IOM with Phil for father's day....

The prank phone call I found odd too, she seemed surprised he was calling her. I get this feeling that his parents are not happy with his life decisions, and maybe this is why he hasn't come out publically with Phil in order to save their feelings. Dan seems like the kind of person who wouldn't want to upset people he cares about.

...just gonna say that I'm here to add to the "is dan closer to his grandparents than his parents?" discussion because the only thing that i can understand from dan's handwriting is "dog". anyways, i do think that dan is closer to his grandparents because, imo, his parents were workaholics when he was a kid and barely has time for him. i think that he only calls his parents once in a blue moon and only joins family gatherings because phil forces him to. imo, dan doesn't seem to be fond with his family i think he's still thinking about the fact that he disappointed his parents with his career choice, and even if his mom seems to accept it already, his dad doesn't seem to be... tbh, i think that dan isn't that close to his dad
well, i'll also try deciphering dan's "hand-writing", and maybe i'll be an archeologist someday

I think it was already revealed during their letsplay that Alphys has a crush on Undyne and Undyne has a crush on Alphys. But they most likely know the spoilers anyway, lol.

No, that was a family holiday including his grandma, Phil did one of his sleepless night videos (2nd I think) while Dan was away.

The last, long word looks like "procrastination" to me? (So "losing friends to procrastination"?) But then he even mentions his procrastination video in the 'Uncle Ken' video so I guess the only possible help I can offer in solving Dan's hieroglyphics is probably wrong

I think you might be onto something because when he reacted to his childhood videos, his mum's answer when asked why there aren't any baby videos of him, she says "we were kinda busy when we had you and didn't have a camera, so, uh, I guess we just forgot." I wonder if that might be the cause, you know, feelings of abandonment. Plus in his diss track he says "your family’s sad your flopped your law degree at university".

I know, I'm trying to figure out how to describe it for Google to see if I can find where it's from. It might be two things, a hoodie with a sort of distressed waistcoat/sleeveless thingy over the top. I like his style of weird random things, though, they're interesting and he wears them pretty well. Yesterday's trousers had patches on and either they or the tshirt had some long bit by the side of his right leg too, but I couldn't figure out which.

Anyways opinion on Undertale- liked it, still love Phil- dabs and all, and really happy they are still enjoying gamingmas. Not my favorite because I don't really like Undertale but I'll give it a 6/10.

Also that lighting makes their hair look purple- I like it. I'm voting new look for 2017.

I very genuinely expected this to be Yeezy, so I'm pleasantly surprised it's not.

Living for it though. I love Dan and his ridiculous fashion choices.
