I'd say by creating this space we gave them easier access to monitoring us, the only problem is finding a link. I said in another tread that now we can place bets under which usernames on here they are hiding, since this is a more closed-off community and easier to track. Admins pls let us know if you notice someone with suspiciously dank meme-y humourakui wrote:I just realize that since we never told anyone publicly about the new forum, deppy won't be (supposedly) lurking here as they did with GG. Omg, the way Phil got into it was amazing to watch. I wish they'd just spend like an hour or more playing this game and filmed it. They could've cut it up into bits, but it seems to me, that they are not as smart as I want them to be.cora808 wrote: 1) I wanted to wring their scrawny little necks the second I heard Dan say flash game, but the way it was presented, it seemed like he was 100% knowledgeable of the fact that everyone's sick of them. :sarcastic: "yay! flash gaaaaamme!". Despite this fact, I did enjoy it. It was silly and they actually seemed to get sucked into it.
*Flashbacks from a few pages ago*2) No Easter baking video? 20 lashes to both of you boys.
Please don't... I'm trying to keep my hopes up.3) At this rate, I sincerely doubt we're getting a cheeky AprilFools video.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯4) Phil, it's been a month since you updated your freakin' Instagram.

I'm so tired i have nothing comprehensible to contribute, but wanted to say further to Fel's analysis of 2013, i like you also noticed this change during mid 2014 radioshows. which was then followed by the gaming channel and some of the best, most relaxed chemistry i've seen to date. i don't have a theory for why, though. it's just really noticeable.vincentian wrote:I have some unrelated theory about mid 2014 based off radioshows & D&P setting up gaming chanel that also coincided with being offered a book deal. Short version: I believe they had some sort of revival of friendship/relationship and came to terms with some disagreements (providing there were any) mid 2014. They started acting much more warm and listen more carefully to each other in radioshows around that time (and I mean it not in a phan way, but getting sort of more mature and empathic, encouraging when talking as much as winding up the other person for lols). Can't link to specific shows now, but there were some good'uns starting from Dans's birthday, like June-July. Beginning to work on such projects as book and gaming channel might have brought them together creatively and emotionally, sparked better understanding of other’s work process. And perhaps helped agree on ideas for future of their joined brand and not feel like their individual creative output is being swiped off under the Dan and Phil branding scheme.
The thing I personally want to take from GG, is the fact that you don't have to like everything. Sure, we should all be D&P fans, but not everything they do is gold. I like variety in opinions, because it sparks discussion and can bring out some really interesting theories.mermaid blood wrote:
and yes, in theory, a board dedicated to balanced opinion but consisting of people who are for the most part enthusiastic fans is more likely long-term to draw lurking from D&P than GG would have. it's reputation preceded it, though i believe the community over the years could show great warmth and empathy for them as people not just playthings. it's nice to see it here now, too.
there's a rumored tronnor break up every two weeks tho, i wouldn't take it too seriously tbh. as far as hangrid foes, that made me grateful that whatever dan and phil are, it's personal to them first and foremost, like clearly navigating a new relationship in the public eye is just additional pressuresweetmm wrote:The ladies openly, the guys ala D&P which was a good idea on their partakui wrote:Have those ppl openly outed their relationship or they are just as ambiguous as phan?sweetmm wrote:These people should have taken relationship advise from D&P![]()
Well, that's why we went through everything to create our imaginary friends jaej and danphil333 for right? (Don't hate still love you guys)Anonymousse wrote: The thing I personally want to take from GG, is the fact that you don't have to like everything. Well, here is the thing that makes me very despaired, this that variety in phandom doesn't change anything, for deppy their time and energy is limited so they have to spend it on maximizing their profit, so all they do is to just cater to their biggest audience group, teenage girls. It's a sad truth, unlike in real world which diversity is good and beneficial to the society in overall, but in phandom it just doesn't matter that much.Anonymousse wrote: The only thing I wish we had more is more variety tbh. This place kind of proves that there is more, but I can also see how many people are lurking about.
With the phandom, it sometimes seems that only the native English speaking/young female demographic is represented, yet we know there are plenty of "older" (I cringe, calling someone in their late twenties/ thirties old) or non-female fans from various places around the world. (Russian Phandom pls) I feel like nobody should be ashamed for liking something, especially if that something is an innocent cinnamon roll.
This super-reminded me of the Teen react video, where Eric seemed to be very hesitant to mention that he really likes Dan and Phil.
Just some thoughts.
This! Maybe we should start first making people in the tumblr and twitter phandom know that this is a good thing. And D&P don't have to do any work, is the phandom in each part of the world the ones that put the subs.akui wrote: (...) So I plan to make a proposal to channelflip/D&P, ask them to consider to turn on "add subtitle" functions for D&P video so that people who want to contribute to translate their videos to another language can simply do that with a simple click.
Yup, I really enjoyed the discussions that were varied and I think this will continue on here because the posters are ultimately the same. We all know no one is perfect so negative opinions are welcomed as long as it's not direct hate posting brcause constructive criticism is always better.Anonymousse wrote: is the fact that you don't have to like everything. Maybe post in one of the friendlier phan-tumblr such as phanteraglama or tweet to updatedphan; I think we have posters here who are friends with them?majitzu wrote:[offtopic]The post in gg with the link to this forum has been deleted. [offtopic]Ladies, Nesoi has apparently said Gabz_is_shite has deleted her account. Is there anyone that can verify this? From what I could see on my phone all of Gabz_is_shite's posts are there and it still says she's a Mod. Is this a lie then?![/offtopic]swofro wrote:[offtopic]same. Also, mermaid is banned in gg now.
