i'm imagining them moving to a house like my aunt and uncle have in one of london's residential neighborhoods: small garden, three floors, attached to a bunch of other houses, a five-minute walk from the local park. i can also imagine them bickering about various houses and apartments and how close to the tube each place is and what oystercard zone they want to move to (for the sake of their wallets hopefully nothing past zone 2).

Has anyone here actually changed their position on Phan today?

Yeaaaaaaah. Yeah. About that. I actually told my sis few weeks ago, that if D&P move together, it'll be pretty much it for me and I'd be 99% sure they are a couple so. trashtrashtrash. I am a bit emotional, not about the old apartment at all, I mean sure it's nice looking background but what I am a bit emotional is that they're moving/moved and all that I got from that is that they're still living together. I mean i'm not gonna pretend I don't think it must mean something bc I am trash.

my roommate (who has been an og stan and is partially responsible for my fall down the deppy hole) actually said something like this about an hour before the video dropped. she pretty much said that them moving together confirms without actually confirming that they're in a relationship, and i kinda agree.

Since falling down the rabbit hole I had a gut feeling about that time and phan. It started when Dan started making male attraction mentions in fall last year but I thought it was wrong. Spring 2017 was too close and it might have been my wishful thinking. That was until today when I think it might be too far.

I had a whole post typed out about why I think the video was going to be a moving announcement, or if not, definitely them messing with us because moving was the most obvious thing to assume given Dan's clues in the tweet and all the speculation recently. Then of course they upload the video literally a minute before I finish

I'm so so so happy that they're actually moving. As others have said, it feels surreal and I'm extremely excited for them. I'm feeling so many good emotions right now, I don't even know what to say

I believe their new place will be a terraced house/townhouse (whatever you want to call it), or a semi-detached house. So not a stand-alone and not an apartment, something in the middle. And not gonna lie, I hope there's a dog somewhere in the near future

I was a bit worried that they'd use a moving announcement as an opportunity to push the whole thing as simply two platonic best buds upgrading their apartment since surely they know people will use this as phan evidence, but I didn't get that vibe. It all felt very relaxed and as though they're content with people assuming either way, which is nice to see. People are going to assume whatever they want regardless, so it's definitely best for them to stress as little as possible and just roll with it. I'm glad they've reached this point (for themselves, not for us) and haven't seemed to have faltered since the post-baking universe began

Just putting it out there that I continue to stand by my theory that these 2 bought a penthouse atop a fancy building.

It's so much easier for them to still be in an apartment building. They can avoid fans ringing a house gate if they have security and a front desk. A penthouse also avoids the whole "sharing walls with a neighbor" situation while possibly allowing for a nice little garden space. And to top it off... there's Dan's tweet about climbing to the roof.

I'm having Feelings after this video, so I'm gonna verbally hemorrhage all my thoughts about them here. >o>

I got into dnp pretty recently (as in, a couple of months or so ago?), even though I was into their content as early as...2011 I think? I was into YT in general until a good 3 or 4 or so years ago, and followed the both of them (individually) back then. This was pre-gaming channel for sure, but I don't know exactly when. I stopped following YT altogether until earlier this year, and dnp were two of the few people whose content I still enjoyed after looking at my old subscriptions. Their gaming channel caught my attention, and then one thing led to another, and I fell down this rabbit hole. This site was one I visited quite early on actually, and I lurked around here and gather all this info and differing viewpoints for ages.

My stance, before this recent video, was that they were 100% together in the early days (2009-2010, early on in 2011 maybe), and then it got blurry for me, even pre-vday leak. I think that's around the time they both decided to put a bit of distance between themselves, for both business reasons and how people were starting to pry into their relationship. I was mostly on the side of 'they stayed together with rocky patches just like any other relationship this entire time', but there was always a niggling little voice of doubt in the back of my head. Ya know, the whole 'well they moved to London to advance their careers', 'they couldn't afford it unless they did it together', 'their partnership gives them views', etc. etc. I do think that there's far more evidence that they were together, in all the little things they said and did (and not-so-little ones, like tying their identities together forever with two books and a tour), but that little voice was still present.

But this move? Kill that doubt altogether. I never thought they would make a coming out video or anything (or think they ever will actually), and I'm pretty positive they'll still film in different bedrooms in the future. I guess I could still give some plausible reasons for them to live together for the past five years--too much effort to move, the gaming channel, etc. Now that they've made more than enough money to move out on their own, though, but still chose to buy (I'm convinced they're buying a flat, makes no financial sense for them to continue renting) together... Even though a lot of the reasons for the 'old' apartment still works (easier to film gaming vids, for one), the whole 'buying a place together' thing really trumps all that.

I think it's because, to me, this is the first big, personal gesture I could point at as being a concrete example of them being together. I could go on and on about how so, so many of their words and small gestures show just how much they love and value each other, but I think I needed something real and huge to go 'yes, see, this isn't just me reading into things, this goes beyond friendship'.

Well, that was a lot of words that probably didn't say much of anything, but I got it down so it's not just swirling around in my head anymore. Funnily enough, my username across a bunch of stuff has 'phan' in it, though I didn't even know about phandom when I made the name. Fits in rather well though, though. My tumblr is a mix of dnp, hockey, and Hannibal...wonder if the intersection between those particular fandom is just me haha

I made an account just to post this because I'm lowkey freaking out:

I've been into D&P for about 2 months now, and I'm not at all emotionally attached to their apartment but I do hate change so them moving makes a me a bit anxious.

Anyway, I'm especially excited about their new sets, will they film from their bedrooms or maybe they'll get dedicated sets for filming like a lot of youtubers do? Ahhhh I can't wait to see it.
