Noticed how he started rocking it in MI too. It doesn't do it for me personally but I'm all for mixing it up and trying something new.
On the TATINOF acting discussion:
Hm, interesting. When I saw it, I thought Dan was the better actor but I can see the Phil-is-better-at-improv argument, especially as we get further along in the tour. When I first heard about TATINOF, I pictured it as happening in smaller, cabaret-style theatres (I didn't quite realize the sheer magnitude of the phandom at that point) and I could see Phil really shining in that environment. But maybe he's getting more comfortable with the massive audiences and making it work for him.
We haven't brought it up in a while, but...is anyone holding out hope for a Very Spooky Friday the 13th ls? No TATINOF tomorrow, it's an eerie day so it fits in with Phil's leap year one... we all miss your casual bants terribly please come talk to us even if it's just for a little while please pretty please OK I'll stop

Well, I know I can't pull that one off(!)
Dan looks good in any loose tops w/ sweater paws. I really like Phil's jacket too. But what I wouldn't give to sort. his. bloody. posture. OUT! Jeez, does he actually have a rubber spine, cause looking at him makes my back ache!!!

The jumper looks nice, I'm personally not a fan of camo but at least it isn't the color of barfed up oatmeal.
And sweater paws are life, they make him look so cute and squishy

Can Dan just forever wear loose sweaters? I think i need to start a petition. Dan with the loose sweaters and the sweater paws are my new weakness.
I have mixed feeling on Camo, it's not my cup of tea or my style. However, the sleeves look semi-long which is cute. I think I'd prefer the sweater if it was a different color or pattern.

How does YouNow work, anyway? I know they must be under *some* sort of a contract, so I'm surprised there doesn't seem to be a set minimum of liveshows they need to do.

Random comment, Phil is the better actor.
Really? I've always though his acting in "Who Stole my Sofa?" was quite bad:
I'm basing this opinion on the tour show. They are obvious going through a script with cheeky, planned reactions/comments and Dan is more overacting/playing a persona. Phil, also following the same script, appeared more natural and relaxed. Did anyone else observe this with the tour shows?
^^This.^^
Dan is definitely overplaying - in a good way - in the show, based on his performance at Playlist. We have tix for the two DC area performances (sadly we will have to sell the Baltimore show tix due to a work event - good seats too.) Anyway, I'm curious to see if the show / performances have evolved over time.

He really looks like a cuddly bear. But seriously. Kanye. Again. Ugh. Good thing he's cute.
When I first saw the photo on Twitter, I immediately thought of IDB. "Oh, IDB will love this." and I was right.
Meeting them: Ideally, I want to meet them irl only because they will never visit my country. Praying to my lucky star that I meet them when I travel to London next year (if I'm still a fan.) I will definitely approach them and ask for Phil's hug. I just want to know if he really smells good. But I will never want to meet them through m&g. I'm too old for that and I am poor.
BTW pointlessbloggames sims video was in my YT recommendation (blame YT algo). I decided to check the channel and I noticed D&Pgames has better views than that channel. I know he uploads regularly unlike D&P but some of his older sims video haven't reached 1m. Even some of his freaking dragon videos haven't reached 500k. Do they really get sponsored for their sims video? Coz based from views, EA should ask D&P instead.

Ok Offtopic spoiler,
I don't know if this has been posted but has anyone ordered anything from the store? I want to buy the cute blossom sweater and the galaxy backpack. Does anyone who has bought anything know about the quality such as the comfort of the sweater and the sturdiness of the backpack. Plus I need a new backpack for university, just needs to fit some notebooks and my laptop. Also if the sweater will shrink in the wash, I fit into an XS on the chart but if it shrinks I think I'll have to go with the S. I mean I'm all for helping out the boys but I just want to know from my fellow IDB members their opinions/reviews on the merch.
[/offtopic]
Backpack:
I have the pixel people backpack (sorry not sorry) it is fucking amazing. I use it every single day for work. I carry around my heavy laptop top in it to and from work and I have had it for about 2 months now and there seems like no wear.
Jumper:
I don't know about the blossom one but I have both the hair jumper and the Christmas Jumper and they have both been worn loads. I got a medium in the hair and large in the Christmas and I am a size 12/14 UK size. It is just a perfect fit for the medium and the large is more of a looser fit. Both washed really well and the printing on the front is still perfect.

I hope they do it (when they do) and a reasonable UK time too. I don't want a notification at 3am saying going live.., even though I know I would wake up to watch it..

It looks like a 644 area code, which is assigned to Canada (but not geographically specific.) The dog probably belongs to a local stage hand or other venue employee. I wished I could take my dog to work (if I had one.)

Oh, yeah, that basically screams D&P. Thanks! Still, wondering if this is losing them money - probably nothing compared to what they're making on the tour, but still. The YouNow paychecks aren't insignificant.

Yuuuuuuuuup. must bring in so much traffic/revenue for YN, I doubt they'd be pissy enough to terminate over them worst-case scenario not being able to do a show for what? 3 months tops?
Where's YouNow based? Anyone know? Is it worth hoping for them to invite for a visit like Tumblr did last year?
36 days... I wants mah schedule back!!

I think he looks normal. But at this point his love for Kanye is very beyond the level of "I appreciate him for his talent", as we all know a Kanye outfit require zero talent point to design and one hundred fame point to trick people into buying.

IDK but i thought getting a spon deal is not only about how the sponsor wants you but also about how good your management is at negotiating and how much you wanna take it. As many people pointed out before that deps are more careful with spon than other youtubers, and taking spon for the sims series isn't the best idea because some people might get upset and loose interest, they don't want that because the sims series is their main series.

(I think its the black bus with gold detail, but it's difficult to tell in such poor lighting). I'm going to assume its actually their assigned tourbus and they don't pull a switcheroo after everyone's left to throw stalkers off (you never know).
Bro I just wanna know about how theyre finding life on the tourbus.
I liked busgate. Not sure if it was mentioned but they seem to have three buses now
I'm so curious as to why they added the third bus in a few weeks into the tour. Is it storage? Did they add more crew?
We need some post-show stalkers with priorities; we know Dan and Phil are there. Someone do a head count of how many other people are around.

I'm camo neutral. It can be done well, it can be done wrong. Dan is nailing it, imo. And I refuse to fully realize that it's Kanye out of fear that I'd start to hate it then.
I'm terribly late to the party (nothing new tbh) but as it doesn't seem that we have a definite new topic I'll chime in to the M&G vs accidental meeting discussion. It got long so I put it under spoiler tag in case nobody cares anymore. Carry on as usual, ignore my ramblings if you must
I'm 100% for the accidental "irl" in the street spotting. I'm under no illusion that it would provide me an insight into the real them, whatever that even means. As alittledizzy mentioned, they'd still be some kind of professional versions of themselves. And yeah, afterwards I'd probably wonder if I had inconvenienced them yadayada, I understand all points raised by those who wouldn't want to meet them like that, and I'd probably experience those feelings to some extent as well.
That being said, I just don't think that I'm cut out for the M&G setting. It just serves to remind me that I'm a number, one of millions when I have to really really hurry up because there's a line of a 100 other numbers behind me, just as there were a 100 others in front of me and D&P are clearly following a friendly and safe script in order to make it a good experience for me but also an efficient process (if you know what I mean). Forgive my language and I definitely don't want to insult anyone who'd like the experience but just me personally, I'd feel like cattle. And additionally, the concept of paying to just meet somebody doesn't appeal to me (obv I understand paying to see somebody's work, eg a show a movie or a concert)
So, to come back to the accidental meeting... it's not like I think that by meeting them on the street they'd remember me for more than 2 minutes. They absolutely wouldn't. But, as you've also mentioned, it's 80% me and 20% them. And I just think that these 80% would be nicer for me if they didn't have to follow a M&G script and if I didn't have a definite proof right before my eyes that there are hundreds of people similar to me. It's actually very interesting to see that although all of us here are aware of the script/no script distinction between the M&G and the street situation, our reactions to that are sometimes the polar opposites of each other. Some people like the safety it provides (I understand that even though I don't relate), while others would gladly throw that safety away.
Aren't I a special snowflake? I swear it's not what I want to convey but that last paragraph totally looks like that. Oh well
But maybe it's all easy for me to say because it will all 100% never happen.

That's honestly really cute and really nice of them! Though, like, isn't it a common rule for people to not take edible gifts from fans for safety precautions...?

I would guess they don't take homemade things but since these were in professional bakery packaging they were assumed to be safe.

Not really surprising, I figured D&P would have very favourable contracts with younow these days because while I'm sure they enjoy their younow money it is far from their only source of income and the platform isn't really gaining them a great deal of extra exposure (most of the people who watch them there will already be dedicated fans).
Out of curiosity does anyone know roughly how much to D&P will make from a Younow show? I've wondered before about how profitable they are because it does seem like most bigger youtubers don't bother with them (at least not a regular basis like D&P).
