About the rebranding, now that's something that interests me! Will it be just the channel name? Will something else change? Is #phandivorsed real??? So many questions!!! hahaha But yeah, excited for what's to come.

Bleh rebranding, imo just more shit to distract them from just sitting down and actually making content for the first time in two years. If anything would make their popularity last longer, it's making stuff regularly on all channels, and that's the only change I'd really want to see when Tour Hell is over. People have been losing their shit over Dan possibly trading in 'danisnotonfire' for his real name since 2013 (when he claimed the DanHowell Twitter and Tumblr) and calling it 'rebranding' so I'm not impressed yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he hasn't really talked about rebranding at all recently... just stuff about how his layout is gross (it is, it's ugly as sin) and how is username is embarrassing. And just a change in name isn't rebranding, it would also mean a change in content which I'm not seeing any signs of.

To begin with, I don't really believe that Dan hates the username as much as he says, but it's just that 'Ugh I know my username is so embarrassing right?' has become a joke he makes every time someone asks about it. I'm also not sure whether a full name change on YouTube would be a good move. He has spend the last year pushing the 'is not on fire' stuff really hard considering he used it for the book and tour. He's connected to it more than ever and when you think about it, danisnotonfire is an excellent name for the content he makes rn; it's a weird username he came up with when he was 13 and is still using no matter despite embarrassment. That's hella relatable and actually really clever, even if teen!Dan obviously didn't know that when he was stuck in his random phase at the time. I'd honestly keep it, few have a random username that reflects their channel so well.

Now you could say that maybe he's tired of the relatable persona, content and teenage audience, and that's why he wants the name change and build a new brand, but again he has done nothing to suggest that that's the case. In fact he seems to play it up just as much as always, if not more. I feel like we'd be seeing it by now if he was slowly trying to phase that out, but he still actively keeps up with what his teen target audience wants to see. His content has evolved due to that before: in 2011-2013 it was the 'Facebook is full of dumb people, Tumblr rules, SHIPPING, asdfghjkl FEELS, can dumbass stupid people please walk in front of a moving train?' mindset that made him popular, from 2014 on it went all a bit softer, less sarcastic and as inoffensive as possible with more memes reflecting internet culture of current time. I can see it change like that again, but rn I don't see much more drastic coming. Now the DINOF channel seems to have no sense of direction this past year so I'm not against him switching it up content wise (and if he wants to stay relevant on YouTube for the next few years I hope for his sake that he has a plan that he doesn't abandon after a few months ahumDAPGahum) but that's where he should start instead of with a name change. I'm not seeing that happening anytime soon though. As far as showing us the real him goes, I'd like to remind Dan that he has a second channel where he doesn't need to be relatable or funny to the teenage audience that makes him the most money. Use it damnit.

If he's changing because he wants to be taken seriously by srs media, well.. ._. I don't really like either Dan or Phil as presenters or hosts, and despite loving the radio shows I think they're kinda awful jocks, so I'm not crazy about them 'moving on' to traditional media. To get taken seriously they'd need to get better skills first, a name change second. Plus you can really question whether moving on to dying old media is a step up in their career at this point in the year 2016, but that's just me. If they do, I hope they keep it separate from their YouTube as teenage audiences are often even less interested in old media than I am and they would associate them with a media platform they have no interest in. They make the most money from that demographic, so they should be careful not to alienate them if they care about their back accounts and keeping up their standard of living (that goes for potential change in YouTube content too).

I HOPE they will be made to go back to Papy and Undyne to hang out... And that they'll figure out how significant is Alphys' crush on Undyne. I mean come on.

I'm actually super sad right now because in my mind i always always thought Phil was gonna be Undyne and Dan was gonna be Alphie. Now it feels like weirdly out of order or something.

Anyway, it's always nice to have an hour long LP to satisfy my trashy needs , they both looked relaxed, thumbs up for Dan didn't try too hard

Btw i don't think they watched others play before because from the Alphie part, you know they didn't.
