Same. Same same same. I think it's one of the best videos he's done, period. I laughed so hard. I was smiling the whole time. I was with him the whole time. I was on the edge of my seat. It was gripping, it was domestic, it was a good story. Dan seemed to be being honest and real. What more can I ask for?

The fact that Dan didn't want to worry Phil -

Phil put the eyedrops in for Dan -

I really liked the end when he was talking about the muffin really energetically, I thought it was a hilarious and good way to end the story.

I agree that he probably didn't really drink in the ISG because being efficient when you're tipsy is impossible, I don't think he would've been able to pack anything if he was tipsy but maybe he's a high-functioning drinker lol. But in my experience having alcohol in your system makes tasks 1000% harder

re: toothbrushes My dad and I also have like 4 toothbrushes and we eventually threw them all away because we forgot which was which, no idea how we racked up 4, but there you go. As much as I love speculating I don't know if there's much to draw from this.

Seriously, I really like this genre (#reasonswhydansafail) from Danielson. But there's something different about this one, maybe because he's essentially a full grown adult now? IDK. Doesn't matter, still liked it. The cutaways to other characters and Phil are always fun. And the dichotomy between Phil being ultra prepared while Dan is perpetually late, and has procrastinated himself into a frenzy. Yup, pretty good stuff.

Autumn squad is where it's at Seriously, though, how could you hate perfect temperatures, gorgeous leaves, knee high boots, soups and stews, apples, crisp fresh air, hot drinks on lazy mornings, and...yes, all the pumpkin spiced shit?

So when I watched Dan's last video I straight up went for a hunt for the winking photo on here because I was sure, that it was posted together with another photo from the plane. I remember that afterwards there was a discussion about the position of their plane seats and I was sure that in the photo we could see Dan's eyes. I have found the post, which was made by hazeygal212, so thank you for that. And I was quite surprised that there seems to be nothing wrong with Dan's eyes. I'm not saying Dan made the whole story up, I think that is not the case, but I was surprised that his eyes looked quite normal. Maybe it was taken at the end of the flight so his eye got better or Phil has miraculous eyedrop technique.

Now I maybe see a little bit of a redness but nothing serious.
And finally, as you guys I loved his new video. I usually am not a fan of dinof nowadays but for me this is the best video since "The time I got sunstroke". Story telling with sketches is my favourite kind of dinof and the amount of Phil in this one was just a treat for me.

So, are they done touring for this year, or..?

I never thought it was weird but I come from a hot place and let me tell you it IS hot and sticky in the dark like you think it's cool and chilly and nope you're in your bed dying slowly as your body sweats and you can't stop yourself

Re: seatbelts, maybe Phil is just one of those people that keep it on unless they need to move. I kind of hate those awkward fliers who are so fidgety all the time. I strap myself in until I need to move, which is barely ever. And yes a flight to Australia is long and they'll need to move but we don't know when this pic was taken to make sure. :geek:

My friend Daryl did a drunk history of comic books thing, and I called him all mad because I knew he was alone when he filmed it and he looked really freaking drunk. He told me that was faking. Lots of people use vodka because it's clear.

Either way it was entertaining. I like to think its real though. Maybe he needed the 4 shots because he was getting on a 12 hour flight with someone who likes to play i spy?

Lovely video. Had me smiling the whole way through (and awwing at Phil being doctor for Dan). I think what maybe feels different about this video is that it wasn't really meant to be relatable. It was more like Dan telling us about his funny life (and ridiculous choices). Of course he does things like that (panic alarm), but he hasn't recently at least.

Yeah maybe, its just it wasn't even dark out when he tweeted that and it just feels like there are unnecessary euphemisms flying around all over the place recently not that I'm complaining

Even if it's meant to insinuate sex (which it doesn't have to, there's nothing worse than lying in bed and sweating without even moving), how do you relate this to phan? He didn't mention anything related to phil.

When is Dan not suggestive? I find it funny. Its like when he said in a live show 'Dan is going to stop touching himself' when he meant touching his hair. And then did a double take for comedic effect.

I noticed this too, but to me this is classic Dan inappropriateness. He seems to me to have an inappropriate sense of humour, and sexualises himself in these kinds of ways often. For example, even in the last video out of nowhere he starts talking about his G spot. You laugh because it takes you by surprise - it's sort of a shock when you hear it because it's so out of place. This isn't a new thing, as you can see it in his videos and liveshows going way back. Also, I don't think it is necessarily alluding to phan being hot and sticky in the dark in bed, but it is open to being interpreted this way, and to being interpreted as about Dan by himself. Basically I think it's just part of the inappropriate humour/sexualisation. To answer your question 000dia000: as to whether he thought about doing it and designed it or whether it was offhand and unconscious - I think it was the latter. As to your second question, whether he meant to "to troll or make people confused or uncomfortable by his insinuation". I don't think he would want to troll or make people uncomfortable or confused, I think he's just.... flirty....?

Nah you're right, it doesn't really. As bluewho very eloquently put ( ) its open to a few different interpretations, 'alone' and 'with Phil' probably being the obvious ones. As habitual trash my brain went right for the latter.

I do think its deliberately sexual though, cos this is Dan we're talking about.

I was thinking that Phil did not noticed Dan's eyes throughout the cab ride and before Dan told him was because he was pretty pissed off with Dan and was giving him the silent treatment/cold shoulder. However when Dan finally broke down and spoke to Phil, Phil immediately went back to his bf(f) mode.

Normally on flights you're supposed to have your seatbelt on, even when the seatbelt light is off. Obviously there are going to be some people who don't listen to that rule but I think it's pretty common to just wear your seatbelt when you're sitting in your seat even when you don't "need" to (Also why did you have to point out Phil's nipple I cannot unsee )

Scene: Dan Howell and Phil Lester are sitting in the lounge. They are quiet for the most part, but occasionally each will twist their heads to tell the other about something funny they just saw, or to articulate some errant thought about the documentary they've been working on. After a quiet period Dan turns away from his laptop to face Phil.

He read out a funny tweet. They laughed. Dan liked it. Phil liked it. They carried on with their domestic married life.
