i want phil to give us a first class airplane review. i feel robbed of potential cute insta stories they took on the plane. i still have hope,,, maybe they're waiting to post them,,,... pls.

Wow I can't believe I am posting on here again after so long, hello!!!! I've been so busy and going through a lot (good and bad) this past six months and I've had no time or energy for IDB, but I miss it so here I am now :') It's sooooo lovely to see how happy and content Dan and Phil seem lately, and I've loved watching their adventures with Martyn and Cornelia. What a sweet little family, I'm so happy that they all seem to get along so well

Since they appear to have left Australia now, I was wondering whether anyone would be able to link me to the place they stayed in Cairns? I am v curious lmaooooo. Feel free to pm me it if you don't feel comfortable sharing widely!! And thanks in advance

the vid on cornelia's story of the boys being a bunch of dorks in the lift thingy is truly the highlight of these past 24 hrs. martyn has such a soft voice.

cornelia is the mother bird, we're the screaming, moist, semi-hairless baby chicks, and dan and phil are the chewed up food that she spits into our mouths.

Even having seen the house and the chair Dan was lounging on in his sun lounging photo, I am still baffled by the framing of that photo.

I see what they mean about the walls that were not really walls though. Looks swanky in photos, fully of terrifying insects in practice apparently. And one friendly lizard. Can't forget the lizard.

Now seems like a good time to bring back this fan photo from persumably the same night as Cornelia's band photo!
Did anyone ever figure out what 'elgig' or 'elgiy' or elg-something was that the fan worked at? I want to know where they went on double date night!

i believe it is 'el greko' - a greek taverna in palm cove. the logo on the girl's shirt matches the logo inside their restaurant in tripadvisor user-submitted photos.

Dan said in the liveshow they did while they were there (starting at about 2:23 in the idb recording) "...Martyn, was like 'hi so we're staying somewhere in the rainforest cause it's going to be quite chill, if you need somewhere to be for two days then we've already rented this place, so do you just wanna come with us instead of being in a hotel?' and we were like sure, fine, whatever..." so nope

They're a family and I'm crying

I'm not a big fan of these "investigations" (can't really call it stalking but it still feels weird - I think we've established that I'm the forum party pooper), but I wouldn't mind to have a "luxury retreat" week either tbh.

1) the place looks beautiful and i've never been more jealous;
2) cornelia always being the one to give the people what they want is a deliberate choice

Everything about Cornelia's pictures make me SO soft but especially the one where you can see deppy walking in the distance like my heart is full that each couple is enjoying the scenery and some alone time, I love how comfortable they seem to be with each other
