There are only a few things in the entire post that we haven't heard before. Everything in the post that we haven't heard before has sources that are either unnamed and ambiguous (such as "a friend") or a blog (such as updatedphan) that is equally as ambiguous because how does updatedphan know any better than any of us?

There are no concrete sources. There is no new confirmed information.

What I would say to this, and to anyone else who believes them or thinks they have any credibility: they are masters of manipulation. They would do very well in advertising or marketing or sales. From reading their blog, it's clear that they know how to construct sentences and choose words that build hype and add to their credibility. They made everyone on their blog believe that they had some huge secret that no one's heard before and that they had credible sources. What came out is neither of those things. They basically posted a phan timeline with a few details peppered in here and there that make dan and phil look bad, once again, with no sources.

I don't believe any of it, and as I suspected, it was all a big elaborate trick.

All the "people in the same school year as them" sources don't sound legit to me. If I was someone who went to the same school at the same time as one of them, no way would I respond to someone who was a fan of their's. The fact that they would have had to stalk them/me to find my account, and then have the audacity to message me? No way would I reply. Also, I'm sure all of the "facts" from other phandom members were told to him with "I have no proof of this" and he just "accidentally" didn't include that part.

Not to mention that the people they apparently went to school with are grown men/women who probably don't know all that much about the phandom. I doubt they keep tabs/have this grudge against people they went to school with so long ago.

I kinda wish there was something of substance though. Just cause I wanted to see some drama.

If I'm recalling correctly that person was on here playing the martyr because people were daring to hold their previous "mistakes" against them when they had so clearly learned and moved on.

When they return to get attention from us from this latest stunt please everybody remember you don't beat trolls by giving them the attention they wanted in the first place. Every interaction you have with that person is feeding them what they want.

Most likely trolling is understating things. Even (in the unlikely event) that person has solid and legit sources they are still trolling with the information and have been for months.

2008 – Early 2009:Charlie Casey and Phil Lester were in a polyamorous relationship with 3 other men.

Considering the only two named people in this so called polyamorous relationship didn't meet until what was apparently the end of the relationship (march 2009) this titbit really isn't as interesting as it initially sounds as no wild group sex sessions were apparently taking place. (Poor Phil.It's a damn shame if even ones fictional polyamorous relationship is sexless and vanilla.)

My only question about all this is, why the hell did the source updatedphan and eternallyphan?? Both of them have said multiple times they know NOTHING personal about Dan and Phil. They have just been watching for ages and just have more knowledge on their twitters and youtubers and that was it. They don't know anything about them outside of things posted publicly.
Anyways, I'm just feeding the troll by talking about all this so I'm just gonna stop.
Thought the live show was great and cannot wait to see both trailers on Wednesday!

TBH, I think about the last place to look for actual drama would be an old married couple two people like who seem quite happily settled into whatever relationship they have.

I'm not really sure what the point of that blog was exactly. Was it #phanconfirmed? I'd say until go their separate ways, they're together. I don't see what the point of re-hashing some old news is other than attention-seeking, soz.

Honestly none of this information sounds brand new, apart from a couple of things at the start. I remember whispers of these rumours back in the day and they were just as ridiculous then as they are now.

I've said it before, if anyone is gonna spill tea on others, you better deliver it steaming hot with a side dish of indisputable proof.

Is UpdatedPhan aware that they have been cited as supporting these rumors? I would very much doubt it. Even if they are it's a fan run account, we have no more reason to believe rumors from them than we do from Mr Joe Bloggs and Mr Joe King.

updatedphan are 3 chill people who aren't into dumb drama or spreading harmful rumours, those attention-seekers just dragged that name into things to appear more legit and take advantage of somebody trying to be kind. These people don't deserve the benefit of the doubt based on past actions and continued shit-stirring. What they consider to be valuable sources is laughable and I hope they go away now that they've dropped their tween-drama-inspired retelling of info and a timeline everybody already has. Or people realize paying them any attention is a waste of everybody's time. Obviously what they really want to do is write fanfiction, as that's all they've done here. I just find it all very embarrassing for them.
