of course they posted undertale when i was leaving and now that i've finally watched it everything has been said

anyway, i loved it, i love undertale, i really hope that once they are done with it they're gonna start another long play through, as we have said a million times they act a lot less in natural in these than all their other videos, i'm gonna have to deal with withdrawal if they suddenly stop

also i was surprised on how the whole camera-bed-window exchange went, like, they not only didn't no homo'ed it at all, but they also didn't no phan'ed (?? it, it was all very judgement free? just 'oh, let's close the window this looks wrong lol', idk what i was expecting tbh because they haven't no-homoed something in a while (well, busgate, but i'm not counting that one because that was weird and a special situation imo) but it still made me go 'oh, okay, interesting'

I was just about to start singing Les Mis when they went ahead and posted Yeah, they teased us then left us hanging but I’m too to stay mad once they feed us the little nugget lab rat icon anyone?

It was an OK one for me…not my fav but it’s nice to see them in their home-y groove on the road. est moments below the cut.

- Dan’s “this guy” look and gesture when Phil was flipping out over the shop items

- When Phil was like, “I wish for a million dollars” I was like you’re joking right really mr. sold out tours across America

  Then there's a jump cut. Probably because Undyne took long to stand up but the cut makes it look like there was a reaction that got cut out.
• 48:08 Dan-'OHHHH YES!' Sure Phil hears that a lot.
• 19:51-19:58 'Yas Temmie!' and 52:27 Dan-'Yall got a lot of explaining to do lady!' Dan is so sassy in this video I really love it.

they read the "moving part" with silly voices, so it wasn't as moving, gar.

That was annoying. The 'moving part' put tears in my eyes and they skipped over it like nothing.

They definitely knew what was coming at the end, which is why Dan chose not to max out their HP because he knew the fight was almost over. They've obviously watched someone else's play-through of this before.

Had the same thought. Some of the things like

giving water to Undyne which I would do too without knowing anything about Undertale

could be coincidences but the part made it seem like they watched someone else play or just knew about it.

Don't know what it's foreshadowing since I don't know about Undertale but look at Phil right after he read 'I tell him ALL my secrets' 45:12.

Didn't see that one but here 20:22 Phil leaned really close to Dan then noticed how close he was and moved away. They kept looking at the bottom left corner through the video. Is that maybe where the monitor was?

And I find it so funny that they used to be all like 'We don't call each other Danny and Philly that's ridiculous and gross' but now Phil calls Dan by Danny like all the time.

My thought is they started saying it for a joke and it turned into something normal for them. Every time they say Danny and Philly or Daniel and Philip I hop more into the trash can.

I'm a bit behind on everything on the forum since it's finals week right now. However, am I the only one who wish D & P were more consistent with the Undertale uploads? For example, the time between each episode varies so much. I can see how hard it must be for people who are only watching D & P's walkthrough to remember what happened the episode before. I mean you can always watch the last episode if you missed anything. My point is that since Undertale is a series I wish they were more consistent with the timing. Also, who else is on team why didn't they pre record the Undertale episode so they didn't have to scramble to film things while on tour.

I liked the Undertale vid but I definitely think it'd work better as a series if it was more consistent, I'd almost forgotten what had happened so far in the time since the last episode there were some cute moments and from what I've seen/heard there should be more good stuff to come!

Same. I wonder if they themselves watch the previous undertale episode to catch up on what's going on since then, because if I drop a game and not in touch with it for two whole months, I am gonna forget where am I in the game.

I liked the new Undertale, thanks to those who made timestamps, going to rewatch cute moments. Interesting once again to see deppy's dynamics and labour distribution. Like Phil is the one for big decision-making (even if it's just blind guessing, Dan listens and does as he says), while Dan is the one who is doing all the ground work at the battles, tackling stressfull situations. At the same time Dan seemed way more chill, like Phil takes all the responsibility upon himself. I wonder if his 'deer in headlights' thing is not that fake and he's often unnecessarily anxious and nervous irl.

Lol at the moment about dreams, wasn't it where everyone thought they would cry.
The moment where they agreed that Dan would take over the battle with Undyne ~precious~, like they discussed it and rationalised their decision (even though it's obvious Phil's way worse at battles, so logically what's there to discuss). Funny how they are both so bad at minigames (it's the easy mode as well right), how will they manage in further episodes.

Also agree with the fact that episodes being so spaced out does not help to keep viewers engaged in the gameplay. As doesn't their editing, I've seen only one other playthrough, but the whole storyline was so much clearer in it than in 's.

This is something I think about a lot. Phil gets a lot of bad migraines and they could be from stress.

Found this thread when looking for stuff about Phil's migraines. Some of the posts on the page make good points about Phil.

Didn't Cat mention Phil's migraines were stress migraines?

Very tense and stressed, has difficulty in taking criticism, thinks his way is the only way, get offended easily...Phil definitely has a lot of things going on that we don't know about.

Don't forget he also occasionally likes to push Dan into awkward situations.

Getting a few control freak vibes from him even, though he seems to manage them better than Dan, at least.

weird, i haven't seen that gifset before, i remember phil saying specifically that he never gets migraines, because he was shocked when a friend of his had one and had to lie down in a dark room. he said his were just bad headaches that pass. weird change.
esp since it's easier to get medication for recurring migraines rather than constant headaches. for migraines, you can get an everyday, preventative pill as well as one to take as soon as the pain starts. if he's having migraines specifically and not headaches, he shouldn't be taking ibuprofen and leaving it

6:15 Dan impersonating everyone in the comments criticizing their play and giving advice. His voice particularly was hilarious but also what truth. If you go on the comments under their vid, every single one is from someone frustrated they didn't do this or that lol

29:15 Phil wishing there was a save point and one actually appears. Dan's reaction is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. His little head tilt to say like "well of course it appears"

It was so nice to get a video and such a long one as well I still can't with that game tho. I know everyone loves it but really I can't wait until they go back to playing fun competitive games instead of that boring everlasting thing. (that is a wish obviously, they don't seem to ever want to play fun competitive games ever again it seems). The fight with Undyne had me so pissed when they kept escaping and she kept attacking them again, like when is it gonna stop???
I still really like those videos because it's 1h of Dan and Phil banting and being cute and casual but idk their gaming choices frustrate me.

Okay so I finally watched Undetale. I don't like Undertale so an hour long video was a huge commitment for me. However, I actually enjoyed this one! I liked the battle with Undyne because it put a bit of tension into the game instead of it being an hour of Dan and Phil reacting to lame puns and quirky creatures. I still don't like Undertale but it does seem to be picking up a bit.

I'm not connected to the characters at all though. I don't think it's Dan and Phil's voices either because I usually read what the characters are saying before either of them have a chance to start talking. I don't know, I find this game boring but I realise a lot of people love it. People in the comments talk about how they love how certain decisions effect the game but so far I have barely seen any proper decision making. It's all 'oh yeah I'll just flirt with them now'. Then when they do make a decision people complain about it in comments because they've done it wrong. I realise it's frustrating for people who know the game to watch but that stuff annoys me (clearly Dan's noticed it too with the comment in the video). I would kill for them to play something with more moral/ethical decision making with more of an impact - like I think Until Dawn is like that (although maybe too scary for their audience?)

they're used to RPGs even if not undertale, so their quick responses to 'this is happening + this clearly defined object is nearby = must be necessary' makes sense tbh. but i don't like undertale much. the fun of an RPG to me is that every decision and option still has a fun/interesting outcome. undertale to me feels like there's a right option and a wrong option with everything, and the wrong option just gives you a joke to make up for the lack of content when you miss a lot. im glad it's something that gives an hour of content each time, but id still prefer if it was a different series tbh. the games just a bit... fake deep.
