lmao, not much to say about it other than the fact that it wasn't that interesting? and it's easy to claim something and then say 'oh, a friend of someone told me' without any kind of proof which isn't really that believable.
like with that last thing, i don't really doubt that dan can be a dick and i'm not gonna put him on a pedestal or whatever, but i'm also not going to what a random person on the internet says either

anyway, i was going to watch phil's liveshow actually live for the first time in forever, but i was kind of half asleep so i don't remember much. the only thing i really remember was him saying that undertale week and spooky week would be different ones which i love undertale, but i love spooky week more

The Phil being a fuckboy thing made me laugh and reminded me of that one rumor that Phil was such a C R A Z E H extreme party animal in uni. Made it sounds like he was snorting crack cocaine of a sorority girl's back or something, but he just went to some regular uni parties. SCANDALOUS.

My favorite part was '2012' because it reads like bad angsty fanfic like 'If you leave me, I'll kill myself' lmao BYE . But most importantly the timeline is all fucked up and the radio thing is incorrect like holy shit if you're gonna try to troll some people at least put some effort into it. If even my fried and sleep deprived brain can debunk it without even trying, you should go back to the drawing board and try harder.

I think reading that convo they got with Charlieskies is the most disturbing. Like they are self proclaimed Dan haters so it's less surprising they are doing the most about him. But for someone they allegedly adore, their behaviour towards Charlie is so fucking creepy.

I don't even care about their drama and "revelations" (lol), I just wish those two stopped polluting every comment section under deppy edits on yt

I didn't get a chance to watch Phil's liveshow, but seeing as he was wearing a "Pokémon Trainer" shirt and Dan was wearing the "Pokémon Trainer" pyjama bottoms in the DAPG video... Do you guys think Dan got the outfit as a present from Nintendo and he gave Phil the shirt, or maybe both of them got the outfits and they chose one item to show on camera so as not to look like they're sharing clothes?

Nah, actually the mods behind updatedphan and the charlie fans are Internet friends, and do love their own share of drama (from their personal accounts, thankfully). Their source for those particular rumors might have been updatedphan --but to me that doesn't make it more believable.

Nice theory, but as majitzu said, the pajama bottom is an old one, I remember a vid where Dan shows it but I can't remember which vid is that. Unless he got another similar one.

Hi lishachi! Welcome out of lurking into the abyss which is I'm an older fan (phan) as well and have enjoyed being a part of this community. There's a wide range of ages and opinions, and I've always been impressed by what a positive place IDB is.

That's not to say everyone's always happy or that everyone agrees about deppy or their content -- there's been plenty of criticism and disagreement-- but I think it's generally presented in a constructive and respectful manner.

IDB has members with wonderfully wicked senses of humor, archivists who can find the most obscure pieces of history, and folks with some pretty impressive detective skills!

So join us in the -- there's plenty of room.

I took a look at those 'sources', and they're pretty ridiculous. Getting info from a mod of updatedphan (not saying it was actually the mod but you know what i mean) and citing it as coming straight from updatedphan is just absurd, and does the opposite of lending credibility.

But frankly i don't want to waste any more words on such transparent attention-seeking.

Anyway, I still haven't watched Phil's ls yet, but they're always so relaxing to listen to and I plan to do so tonight. Undertale week, spooky week, Christmas baking, trailers, tatinof, tatinof doco, stand up to cancer, dapgo, pinof8, voice acting and who knows what else coming up ... it's a good time to be a fan.

Yeah, I think they are waiting for something to be filmed about. So far they'd done the usual catch pokemon, join a team and battle a gym, not sure what else can they do to make an interesting PokeGo vid. Hopefully some update or some kind to happen soon so we can see Dan in his glory trainer outfit.

What I'm gathering from last night's events is that even if any of that information is credible, dan and phil are real humans who have lives and problems that they've since worked through.
