Interesting. That was kinda the impression I got from this video when it first came out too.

I know it would make much more sense for them to have been referring to the fact that they kept adding more US dates so those were for sure the very last US dates ever. That was just the way I heard it the very first time I saw the vid (last tour dates they'd ever add anywhere) and was a bit surprised thinking 'but I thought you said...' Watching it back, I still can't help but to hear it as Phil correcting the statement rather than reinforcing it.

show that deppy have been taking selfies on dan's phone with fans at the start of the m&g's of every show. (videos/tweets/pics from all other shows are online too.)

they haven't posted them anywhere and i wonder what they're doing with them. they obv could be for personal mems but it does make me think of that tweet someone tweeted (i think during the UK tour?) about cornelia and martyn taking a photo of/with some fans for dan and phil's "diary." another thing to come out of the tour maybe? still photos don't seem like a thing to be put in the doco...

busgate is starting to give me a headache, at this point i think they might have rented all the buses from that company.

so, since i'm the self proclaimed busgate go to person:

1 - we know that the merch girls' bus (red) has a lounge in the back because of the company's website (it's on the 'slides' section) and because one of them posted a picture of a mirror from said lounge



2 - we know the blue bus has a bedroom because it's on the 'star coaches' section of the website



3 - the black and gold bus is also on that section so it also has a bedroom



4 -



that bus that you can see behind the other bus looks like this:



which is in the non-slides section of the website, those also have a lounge

5 - all the other buses from the website because at this point they seem to have all the buses and i'm completely lost:

black 'slide' bus (aka with a lounge)
this one and the red bus are the only two slides on the website and so far all the buses we've seen are there so i'm inclined to think they do have pictures of all their buses on the website.



black 'star coach' (aka has a bedroom)
the only star coach that it's apparently not with deppy, it looks very different from the other ones so it's gonna be easier to recognize it shows up at some point



white 'non-slide' (aka has a lounge)
it's difficult to tell the difference between this one and the other non-slide (the silver one), so maybe the one they have is this one, but they both have a lounge so no big deal



and lastly: the website, in case any of you somehow missed that and want to check it out for yourselves.

if they have in fact rented 4 buses then daaaamn, i need to know how many people are on their crew, and i hope they got some sort of deal for renting more than half of the buses that company has

I haven't seen them take a selfie at either of the Toronto shows according to the clips people upload on twitter. However, this says otherwise?

Haha cora808, in my review of the Toronto show I also said they weren't as tall as I thought they'd be. I guess there are others out there who think the same. In my head I exaggerated how tall they'd look because "OmG theRe SoOO Tall!!!1" is literally what everyone says.

Or were you suggesting that the way she said it in the clip sounded rude?

I can't think of any reason why every bus wouldn't have shown up at venues, at least in in different combinations, but pretty much we've just seen two regularly, right? I try to keep an eye out for people posting bus pics, but all anyone ever focuses on are Dan and Phil.

Could they have swapped out buses at some point, maybe that accounts for the different colors? Four buses has a potential for over 40 people and I just can't fathom they've got that many people we've never seen. (Some, sure. But that would mean that with all the fans at all the venues, stalking in all the places, 2/3 of them are still getting away with not being spotted at all.)

Where did the four bus theory come from? I've seen three, because a photo a few pages back clearly shows three (two together, one of those with a trailer; the other parked alongside the tractor-trailers presumably hauling the set and specialized lighting/sound equipment, at a loading dock.) Funny that just after Playlist, we assumed there was only one... but things tend to grow after reality sets in...

Also, in the latest photo sequence involving the bus, the boys, and Drake the bodyguard (who looks a little chunky,) you can see the D&P's bus has a pop-out on the side. These usually expand when the bus (or RV/trailer) is parked. The extra space it provides makes room for a table surrounded by couches; good for eating and devising business plans...

If they swapped buses then a new driver could have just driven the new bus to where they were. (Which would take a while, potentially, but I mean - that's what these drivers do for a living, I guess?) That said - yeah, I have no idea why they'd swap them out. maybe deppy bought the bus company as an investment and want to try all the buses out

i think we've seen the blue bus alone, that picture that was posted a few pages back where u could see the silver bus covered by the black and gold bus, the red bus alone, and the red bus with the blue bus

i'm inclined to believe that they have a star coach (black and gold/blue) and one with a lounge (silver/red) and they have changed them at some point because that's the option that makes more sense to me

but at the same time i remember that when we were convinced that they had the red bus and the blue bus some people insisted that they had a black bus and i assumed they thought it was black because it was dark but maybe it was the black and gold bus???

idk, i give up for now, i'm gonna start paying more attention to the videos of them leaving the venue tho

I mean, they could have swapped buses if they didn't like something on it / something broke (something minor, I'm pretty sure they would have tweeted that one of the buses broke down at some point).

Also, about the talk before of who sleeps where I remember my days of mcr trash of people talking about tour bus life and how common it is for you to board the first bus you see / the bus of someone who you're talking to and just exchange at some stop for the driver to rest/only for the night. But aren't the most social so idek if this helps.
