Holy crumbs, my throats hurts from screaming with laughter, fricking heck that was hilarious and they're so pretty. I can't quite believe Phil didn't go off-camera before unbuttoning his jeans, I'm curious what pattern his pants have on them now. And then he couldn't even do up the blue ones either, good lord the tightness. And a butt shot, he does love us all
He looked lovely in the blue tshirt before they even started, Dan looks like the prettiest cupcake in that peach top and flower crown, the white wig reminds me of Dante from Devil May Cry, but it enhanced Dan's prettiness. The aqua look on Phil is fun. The wig was straight out of that old video where he inverts the colours on his camera and his hair turns that colour. He looks a bit peaky in such a cool blue with his pale skin, though. His flower crown was very pretty and so were the pink and purple things they put in the background. I love even changing the sheet to pink, helps you sleep apparently. And he's fricking kneeling on the bed, did anyone else swoon even more at that point? The black jeans and pale blue tshirt combo on the pink sheet helped, but kneeling is good The tattoos are very pretty too.
And Dan has actually embraced the waves. Wow. I assumed he'd be straightening the heck out of them again once they grew a little longer. Phil's playing with the curl, he's like my cat batting over and over at a dangly thing.

So that was, um. I did almost wonder if they were going to wind up kissing at the end.
When someone does full timestamps, it will be a mile long, but here are a few things that struck me:
1:20 when Phil says that he might wind up biting Dan, I immediately thought of a certain video (uploaded 7 years ago)
4:45 "we're not going to be getting into our pants" Aw, too bad!
Re the following discussion about going pastel via underwear: I had two not-straight male friends, and one urged the other to do exactly that--wear pink boxers. The other friend, a black-wearing sort, declined
7:46 "I'm obsessed with your curl" (second time Phil mentions this) We can all imagine Phil being obsessed with all of Dan's curls

Aw, the header looks so nice.
That video was something else. I wouldn't have thought that they could turn the "pastel edits" thing into an entire video, and I was kind of skeptical at the title, but it was actually really nice.

Yet mere minutes later, what do we get?
I also liked Dan whining about his integrity, and Phil telling him not worry, there's no integrity on his channel.

That was just amazing. Didn't expect much going into it but it was soo good. 2017 Deppy has been on point so far this year.
Dan needs to start wearing light pink more often and that green on Phil
The shade to the film makers was just too good as well Daniel well done.
Totally a Firebox spon again. It's not very hard to find things featured in an Amazingphil video.

they were so pretty in this video though I was squeeing at dan in dungarees and Phil looked beautiful from the start with that t shirt, happy valentines to me this video is all I need

i loved the video! i can't say much right now because i absorbed all of it while being half asleep, but i wanted to comment on three things:
- does dan not realize how loud he is sometimes? when he "illustrated" his and phil's usual channel contents and full-on screamed for "hi i'm amazingphil" and spoke in this low and sad voice for himself, i was like :wtf: no, dan? that's not how it is?
- i honestly loved the moment where dan was talking about how this video is not ~high-quality filmmaking stuff~ and phil just cut him off with "you're on my channel, there are no standards here" and laughed. it seems like the bar dan is setting for his main channel content is something that's on his mind quite a lot these days, but i liked that phil seems so full-on confident in his own content and how he put these worries to rest so easily (at least for this video)
- i have to rewatch it, but i felt like there were quite a bunch of moments where dan did his "phil why are you saying weird things like this" expression, but broke into laughter/giggling after less then a second each time, and i thought it was really adorable and also further indication that this "old dynamic" isn't going to be a thing anymore
tumblr is probably overflowing with punk!phil/pastel!dan edits by now and i'm still just as confused about what it is with these edits. same goes with plant boy!/space!, like where did this come from? i've never seen this in any other fandom.

I really like Phil's outfit, too bad we can't have a full length view of it cause the light blue jeans with the turquoise shirt looks really good. Phil also dresses up Dan really pretty, Dan look fresh and so young; they both do look like teenagers in the thumbnail

I never really 'got' the pastel edits thing, and when I first saw the name of the video I was indeed a bit 'eh', but these two in 2017 are killing me! The curl-love from Phil...the hilarious jeans-falling-down moment ...how freaking cute Dan looked, I mean so cuddly, aghh (I think I finally get the soft!Dan thing...took me a while)...fond!Phil throughout the entire vid. I can already tell that this is gonna be a favourite vid of theirs for me. What an adorable video! Like most of you have said, I was a bit meh when I saw the title, but it was just so soft
