Dan’s doodle: drew symbolically his evolution as a person and influences he had throughout his life. Wants to be seen as a human with versatile personality and diversified tastes. Attempts to add puns / humour / self-awareness (price label). Little images look disconnected from each other (lack of focus, many unrealised ideas), but I think images are to be viewed in order, starting from center (the sun) moving up–right–down-left like that curly spiral in the top right corner:
Sun – he was a f**king sun from teletubbies.
#Lolzor – rAnD0m faze, etc.

- Staircase with door under it – harry potter reference? (cupboard under the stairs) – relates to him for being a looser as a child/teenager.
- Do not push button – aware/afraid of his tendency to do the worst thing and f everything up (like that particular work experience story he told about pressing the alarm and also as a metaphor).
- Doesn’t Sauron’s eye look a bit like vagina? (fyi)

Phil’s doodle: Definitely more single-minded person, more solid unified images. Bottom half of the page under the lizard creature represents dark, doubtful, unhappy period in his life. Upper half – presumably now – creative, uplifting, challenging (stars, rockets, futuristic weird unusual stuff). Interesting that many objects are in pairs: two ghosts (or octopi) next to each other, two trees growing out of checkered beast’s back, two ladders, two stickman figures upside down with Saturn between them, also two stickman figures throwing the Saturn in the right upper corner. Trees, planet - need for security net, home.

- He drew himself as many things at once – alien furry boy with anime eyes and whiskers wearing a clown suit?
- Thought bubbles with various images - considers himself a creative person with weird ideas, yes to thinking out of the box (nothing new here). A cassette thing may be a radio with antennaes?
- Spaceships, aliens, weird creatures - thinks that those ideas one day may turn into something amazing in future/bring success (world domination&power ). Dom!Phil confirmed.

All this inspired me to rewatch the Oreo video and i noticed some things i didn't notice before:

• There was a discussion about wether or not they wear make up (or how often) a while ago and in the oreo video it's obvious that at the end, the make up on Phil's forehead is stripy.
• Dan immediately jumped to ice LOLLIES instead of licking ice cream. No big deal in general, but for someone who wants to look straight... but i guess in 2014 he was already kind of chilling. It just stood out to me.
  Also: NO TEETH!
• They use the same hairspray as me.

The whole video is gold. Phil acting oblivious to the innuendos while Dan just looks so done with how sexual everything sounds. Shame it was removed

-Call it overanalyzing but I think it's very interesting he had to blatantly tell us "this was Phil's idea" "what am I doing idek" "I don't like doodling" and especially "don't psychoanalyze any of this it's all nonsense" sorry Dan just to distance himself as far as possible from it being something meaningful
-Comparing it to Phil's, he has so much more going on on the paper and therefore in his head, vincentian's observations of "many unrealised ideas" seems spot on here
-The fact that Sauron's eye looks like something else is one piece of psychoanalysis but how about that's it's surrounded by a fortress and a literal giant squid on top? Feels like something's not only overwhelming but something to be feared
-The nonononono okay with the sad little cyanide and happiness looking dude is interesting too. Makes me wonder if he started on the inside and worked his way out or from the top down, because that's kind of a depressing thing to start with
-What's he hiding under the black hole in the bottom right corner? look at me always thinking they're hiding something which they probably are most of the time tbh

-vincentian made this observation too, but the little stick figures caught my eye as well. The little one at the bottom not knowing what he's doing with the ? above his head, then as the doodles go up the page, he gets a friend and they're always together.
-If cows represent maternal and it's a checkerboard cow killing a city with her laser beam eyes, maybe mama Lester didn't want Phil moving to London
-Phil's seems more like a cohesive story with progression (I mean, compared to Dan's)
