I liked this slither.io better than the last one, they were somehow more entertaining and cute than last time. The element of competitiveness definitely helped, because this time I was watching for bants but also watching to see who would win. When before I knew the game would be boring and I was hoping they would either somehow play it really well and get really far or have great bants. I don't get much enjoyment from watching people play video games badly. But to each their own.

Weird that Dan let Phil touch him with the eye mask, then decided that was too weird and was like no don't do that, then later in the video was like yeah that feels good keep doing it. At first I kinda read it as a no-homo but then later when he let Phil keep doing it I was like okay, I'll take it. I'm glad he didn't commit to the no-homo...i guess is what im trying to say

Kinda weird and not ideal to put up two videos in a row of the same game but since when have unspoken youtube rules governed these two?

I was kinda rooting for Phil haha, Dan is just a better gamer all around, even if he does hate this game! Poor Phil

Am sad though that Phil didn't win, really wanted him to.

[offtopic]i always wanted to see them to do games on the oculus rift, not sure if it would ever happen, or if they even have one, or if they'd even want to, but would be quite funny, especially with a horror game.
saying that, im assuming they'd only get one, then one would play and the other would watch? maybe that wouldn't be so fun. idk i'm just curious how they'd react to it. kinda silly suggestion now i think about it because it probably wouldn't work lol ignore me (im just hyped for spooky week) [/offtopic]

Anyone got any ideas what they might trot out for spooky week? I'm a bit of a horror wimp tbh so I really don't know any horror games besides FNAF (if you can even call that horror). I'm sure they'll bang out a FNAF but have no idea what else.

I really hope they play some proper gritty horror like PT. I just rewatched PT this morning (who says I don't spend my time off productively??) and even though I have to put my hand over half the screen and only watch during daylight I LOVE that video!!

There's something about a game being genuinely challenging/scary that forces them to drop their personas (I said it, shoot me idgaf) so they can properly concentrate and I live for their natural reactions and interactions. Like when Dan got scared and starts rubbing Phil's arm in PT... I can so imagine that being something he actually does when they watch something scary.

Phan aside though I just love a more natural vibe. Phil in particular was so interesting in PT because you'd think AP would be all scared and timid but Phil was the one who was like WE'RE FINE GO FOR IT and pushing Dan on.

Fully expect some bullshit flash game but I really hope they weave at least one scary AF game in there. I'll get my post-it notes ready

sorry 4 bringing this up as its a few pages back but you have a really good point about how they seem to drop the internet persona during genuinely scary games ! youre probably right about that being the reason they don't play them often. i do hope they pull at least one out for spooky week though.

General observation - its now 6-3 to Dan and so I feel like Phil will pick a game he's really, actually good at next to guarantee a win. Predicting Peggle cos he talks about it loads but I don't even know what it is. Anyway, whatever he picks should be good as it will be something he probably plays personally (maybe even a console game... dundundunnn) rather than some shitty flash game they've stumbled across. Fingers crossed.

I didn't enjoy that much. Phil in super ditz mode was a bit much today and Dan was just incredibly annoying. Kinda wanted to hit him with something heavy and it isn't even a liveshow day... That might be the thing I guess, Dan was in a mood we usually see in liveshows and y'all enjoy liveshows while I hate them. Anyway, that wasn't my kind of video.

Notes written during video:

- Phil is in super ditz mode I see.
- Dan is just super annoyed at having to do this again.
- "I'm getting quite long now" "You are, you're at an impressive length" They just can't resist.
- Dan is honestly incredibly annoying today like maybe tone the fuck down.
- As per usual Phil is the only person who can touch Dan's neck because trust.
- Vegan snakes exist. They're called diet guru's on Instagram.
- Phil is gonna root for his boyfriend now.
- Dan banging on the desk when he loses.. their neighbors must think they have some real quick angry hate sex on the regular.
- What the fuck is Dan complaining about, Phil's DIY snake badge looks cute as fuck.

Possibly the most boring notes I've written yet...

I didn't get any no-homo from that moment. I interpreted it as "if you keep doing that this will go in a direction not conducive to video making".

I actually kind of liked having the initial game and the DvP followup close together. I think it flowed better than dragging the game back from weeks ago. And if you didn't like the game, now you know that the channel has moved on and you won't have to see it again.

I know from lurking that they got a lot of asks saying things like "why can't you tell us" or "what do you mean ... isn't ...?" or anything that links to the information they supposedly 'leaked'.

Perhaps we should see how it plays out/if they can collect any information/evidence to prove their very, VERY, bold statements.

It seems they've been editing the post recently too and adding links to screenshots, which is a lot better than the original post which could literally be a fanfiction if you took away the dates (then again, isn't Dan and Phil's life sort of like an anime? I mean, a fan ends up living with his idol..).

No hate (I promise) I just think that people are disregarding what they are saying due to a certain *cough* CHARLIE *cough* co-owner having an extremely unreliable and hateful reputation.

And ruining/naming some of their sources seems like quite a d*ck move in all honesty, however it makes you think, why would they do that to their sources? Especially after keeping these supposed leaks a secret/always talking about their sources, why leak everything/backstab people now?

And why on earth did they leak it a week before they said they were going to?

This may be reaching a bit far but they could have told the wrong people the 'leaked' information and were under risk of it getting out? Again, it's a reach however there was this account that Charlie knew from their school (seen in other tweets) that was spreading Dan and Phil info on twitter (like addresses), it got taken down though.

(I don't stan/stalk Charlie may I add, however I am always up for a bit of sh*tstorming)

Also to that person saying Charlie wasn't friends with the person from updatedphan, I'm pretty sure (they deleted all of their tweets a month or so ago I'm not sure exactly when) that I saw some tweets like "just had a 4 hour skype call with ..." in which the person from updatedphan liked it and replied to it (can't remember what they said though).

I used to follow them and they'd also tag the person in tweets and stuff... maybe the person is trying to cover up that they were friends with Charlie? They also very recently posted links to screenshots with the said person on the TMI post.
Perhaps they had a fallout or something? I certainly wouldn't spread around that I was getting inside information from a person from updatedphan, maybe that's just me but I'd keep that to myself...

If you're reading this postulatedphan, I'm a fan of your blog however you need to add more proof and to try and tone down the hate/negativity that is radiating (and I MEAN radiating) from your accounts...that is all.
